You should ask your pharmacist or doctor ,and see if you can get routine testing.

the main problem I had was that its going to be very difficult to eat enough depending on what dosage they have you at. Also motivation and energy when not taking it went out the window pretty quick for me

>Just got prescribed dextroamphetamines
for what? how? who is your doctor?

I WANT ME SOME GO PILLS

Recently graduated mechanical engineering, got into the workforce to realise i can't look at a computer screen RIP me. See a psychiatrist, google the symptoms and answer the questions properly. Pretty easy desu. Also you have to not be a drug addict

Don't take them.. amphetamines and a healthy lifestyle do not mix lol its very obvious that they don't mix

Got put on 40 mg/day, noticed a significant drop in motivation when not on it but i also had none beforehand so im used to it.

idk man, i got to the point where not being able to focus on my job was going to cost me my career. i wish it was just willpower

ADHD isn't real you just have lowered your dopamine because of addictions

Nofap
Nosurf, limit internet use
read 1 book a week

and your ADHD will be cured

That stuff is also part of my treatment, long term is to get me off it through organisation techniques.
not really addicted to anything other than procrastination though

ignore this retardo, adhd is real, it's more likely you have ADD though. Either way, I was on dex for a few months. It's way better than Ritalin but I still felt shit at the end of the day when it wears off. However a few of my mates who also take it say they feel fine at the end of the day. Sleep issues seem to be common though, so I'd recommend not taking it after 3/4pm if you were planning on having an early night's sleep. Personally I didn't feel much difference when I took it and went to the gym but it seems to effect everyone differently. Also I was only taking around 7.5/10mg a day, so perhaps your dosage is higher. I must admit though that now that I'm off it I can focus a lot better, but I have been meditating and taking ashwagandha. Sorry for the ramble btw I just woke up.

>advocates that a human taking amphetamine is ok and natural
Buddy, amphetamine isn't good for your body. ADHD ADD isn't real. It's just lack of discipline, laziness, and addictions numbing your dopamine.

>realise i can't look at a computer screen
Like it causes physical discomfort, or you get distracted, what? How did you graduate mechanical engineering without looking at a computer screen? How did you funpost on the 4changs?

Yeah i get distracted VERY easily. if i get given a project that i have no interested in, brain refused to focus on it for more than a few minutes at a time.

uni was hard, not gonna lie. Dissertation was a nightmare that i procrastinated into a 50/100 mark.

>if i get given a project that i have no interested in, brain refused to focus on it for more than a few minutes at a time.
Shit, maybe I have ADD too. I thought it was just being too redpilled to care about dumb shit that my boss cares about too much

Just sounds like laziness and lack of discipline to me lol

You probably also think the earth is flat.

i refuse to believe people like you exist

stimulants brought me from being worthless to actually being to contribute to society. willpower is high, but brain says no

Enjoy being hooked on stimulants your whole life. I used to take them to. Your life is better without the drugs user

well its not a globe i'll tell you that much. NASA faked moon landings, im not trusting them on globe earth

>stimulants made me energized and focused
Congrats.. you are a normal human under the influence of amphetamines lol. That's the point of amphetamines and their pharmacological effect lmao. A normal person uses discipline and will power, especially to do something he doesn't want to do

They all think this. Then the honeymoon wears off and they realize they are fucked and addicted

I know right, every amphetamine testimonial I read from people with "ADHD" say it gives them focus, concentration, willpower etc.. That's a NORMAL effect of the drug class amphetamine lmao, they are so deluded honestly.

If the earth is flat then why does the sun disappear bottom first over the horizon on a beach?

>laziness
I do rope access and rigging, confined space entry, off road access, and more, but i'm lazy because I get bored with doing literal paperwork carbon copies in triplicate in 20-fucking-18?

Yes you get lazy doing paperwork, everyone would. You answered your own question lol

it's EASY, and requires NO critical thinking but i would rather be doing something physically demanding, stressful, and/or dangerous. do you know what 'laziness' fucking means?

>it's EASY, and requires NO critical thinking
Yes, obviously you would get bored doing paperwork indoors compared to being outside using your body. Mental laziness

Attached: 2012-08-26-Flow-balance.png (604x454, 71K)

>Mental laziness is not wanting to do mindless, physically easy things but preferring to do physically hard and mentally challenging/stressful problem solving
So are you telling me that being lazy is literally the opposite of being lazy?

Can you even fucking read the graph that you posted?

>low arousal, high efficacy, less demanding skills = boredom
Yes I can, can you?

You are running around in circles obviously missing the point. Being in a cubicle doing paperwork over and over and over again can obviously lead to laziness, boredom, and an undisciplined mind.

i never said it was good for your body, lots of things aren't physically good for your body but we take them because not taking them is even worse. also no, it isn't just a lack of discipline, laziness and addictions. there are notable differences in the levels of dopamine in the brains of those with and without adhd/add. this difference is notable across all demographics.

i think hes trying to argue that the lack of dopamine is behavioural in nature and not due to anything else

>cubicle
You're a fucking retard. I'm an electrical faultman for a major civil contractor. When other people get told to stay indoors, I go out to work. I hate paperwork because I'm NOT lazy, and it's NOT necessary. It DOESN'T engage my brain, OR my body. I would rather be DOING WORK.

>laziness
/ˈleJzJnəs/
noun
noun: laziness

the quality of being unwilling to work or use energy; idleness.

Holy shit, go back to /x/

What the actual fuck kind of drugs are you taking?

>there are notable differences in the levels of dopamine in the brains of those with and without adhd/add. this difference is notable across all demographics.
no, not in people who have never taken drugs.
and that is also why psychiatric drugs make mental disorders worse if used chronically.
