How the hell do you get rid of this?

How the hell do you get rid of this?

See a doctor

I had the same thing and only prescription stuff worked

Topical steroids, natural sunlight helps
If more widespread (scalp, legs, trunk, etc) you should see a dermatologist to see if you qualify for injectable meds (humira, stelara are popular ones)

What the fuck is that

i had some light spots but nothing works beside getting a short hearcut and expose to sunlight. also never wear a cap

dude what the shit

Steel wool and bleach.
Yes, it hurts.

Eat nothing but raw meat, should fix it right up.

Joel stabs you in the back of the head with a shiv made from a pair of scissors and some ductape

stop watching porn

Rub coconut oil into your hair and scalp every now and again and let it soak for as long as you like, then wash out.

This seemed to help mine - also I got a hair cut and went from glorious Captain Caveman to Kuririn and it cleared after a few weeks....
It was as bad as that pic though

My sister has this. She has to use a special shampoo that doesn't irritate her scalp.

How do you get that?

This. Also try selsun blue if you can get it. Just lather that shit on twice per shower then begin to wean off it. Shit cleared up so quick.

its called sebhoiric eczema, I had it and used antimycotic shampoos and nyzoral on my face which more or less completely cleared it up

Only happens during autumn and winter, so I guess it's lack of vit D.

I saw a couple of dermatologists, gave me a few topical creams and shampoo, the itching stops but flakes keep reappearing after a while.

Prolonged dry Fasting
Not your intermediate bs

I use castor oil on my scalp. But as soon as I forget to apply for a couple of days it comes back with a vengeance.

>Sun
>Healthy diet
>No sugars
>Some medicine
That's it. Doesn't disappear just like that though.

Well seems to severe for a shampoo to fix it but shampoos like "selsum blue" do wonders and they work

Go on a carnivore diet and get plenty of sun. You can thank me later.

This makes me itchy. :(

yes, this, nofap and steroid cream helped me unironically

Psoriasis is a form of atopic dermatitis, an autoimmune disease. Your immune system is reacting abnormally to a pathogen. It's inflammation of the skin. Usually it's reacting to a yeast, such as malassezia, but it could be a bacteria as well, or a combination.

You could try a shampoo with ketoconazole, which will help a bit if it's reacting to a yeast. But, the poster who said you should eat healthy and get sun was right, the bacteria in your intestines can regulate your immune system and make T cells hyperactive, and vitamin D helps fight autoimmunity. Also, autoimmune diseases usually start in people that have permeable intestines. A healthy diet will reverse this, and look into probiotics.

If you address it now, you could reduce your risk of developing asthma and other allergic issues later in life.

This is Psoriasis.
You will need to see a doctor, don't ask /fit for advice about it because it can serious arthritic manifestations further in life.
You'll need to start treating it now, so go see that GP

scrape it off with a chisel and hammer.

What in all the olympian gods names is this abomination ?

In my case, I had a really mild case of this on my scalp and on my face (cheeks mostly). What essentially made it go away was water fasting for two to three weeks. It was honestly surprising to see my skin actually clear up when I actually started fasting mostly for weight loss.

I'm actually going to fast for a couple of days again since it's kind of returning (though not as bad as before) ever since I started eating badly again.

If it really is psoriasis, you don't. EVER.

t. Doctor.

Sunlight, good health, sleep, exercise. In the short term, figure out if that’s seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis asap. Try nizoral.
T guy who has had dandruff and shitty immunodeficient-esque rashes over his body before and got rid of it successfully

I have an irritated scalp but I don't think it looks like that had to use shampoo today to get rid of the itchiness still have dandruff though. What about apple cider vinegar ? I was going to use this but it seems to be a little more acidic than the skin. Gonna try coconut oil next.

Swap your shampoo for sulfur soap. Worked for me, might work for you

What is it, some kinda alien parasite?

When I had Guttate psoriasis on a separate occasion my doctor said it can come on as a result of a weakened or neglected immune system. Double up on fruit and vegetables and do that coconut oil thing, it seemed to help mine clear up.

Alcohol and smoking can also be a factor I think

Psoriasis runs in my family. I use a coal tar shampoo to helps keep it in check.

...

Not taking hot showers or using a lot of moisturizer helps, plus putting coconut oil in your hait helps too. It worked for me in the past but it just recently came back since I love hot showers

if its yeast related coconut oil will make it worse

SS+GOMAD

I cannot second selsun blue enough- I had seb derm, which is a bit different, but not even the steroid shit helped me for more than a week or two- I've used selsun blue for two and a half years now, and it's never come back.

Don't stress about it. Stress makes it worse. The more you care about it, the less likely it is to go away.

Steroids

In my country people use a shampoo called clobex with clobetasolpropionate. Don't know what it's called elsewhere.

SS+GOMAD

Do you melt the coconut oil first or leave it solid?

Kill your doctor for giving you too much antibiotics, psoriasis is for life, enjoy.

Extra Strength Coal Tar Shampoo. T-Gel

I used to have this mildly on my front hairline months ago, but because of this thread, I checked and it went away and I don't currently have it.

Don't irritate it by touching it.
I'm currently on a low carb diet
I walk in the sun
I am on nofap
I am on noshampoo
I'm taking CBD oil

Not sure if any of these will help, but you can try.

Dude, I've been battling this shit ever since I hit pubery, mostly on scalp and one spot next to my nose. All those steroid creams work only when you're actively using them. They also fuck up your glandula adrenalis if you're on them on a extended period of time. You'll also gain weight and, here comes the icing on the fucking cake - the main side effect of corticosteroids is major fucking depression. Seriously, there were times I legitimately thought of topping myself, and I'm a pretty happy person in general. This is no joke. I've gone through several of those creams - fucicort, travacort, all did fuck all when I wasn't using them. And when I did - I felt suicidal and generally unhappy. It got so bad I stopped using those fucking creams altogether.

Now the good stuff. I haven't had a flair up for over a year now ever since I started using antidandruff shampoos (look for ones with zinc pyritihone in them(I use Syoss Anti-dandruf (the black bottle, not the platinum one))). Use them as a shower gel and ur all set. The zinc pyrithione creates a bad environment for sebbhoroic dermatitis bacteria to grow in. so it stops growing.

Also, don't be fat, but since ur a Jow Forumsizen, I doubt this'll be a problem.

Also, psoriasis and sebbhoroic dermatitis is for life, but you can maintain it.

Best of luck.

fuck thats bad, i have seb derm as well, i'm using selsun gold and it's not working

There might be a cure worth a shot, but the procedure is very dangerous, you might get kicked out of the citadel

Shower at LEAST once a day and rub coconut in your oil into your scalp every night before bed - wash your hair in the morning.

Moisturise your scalp with lotions such as Aveeno (Oatmeal based) or E45. Comb your hair, wash and moisturise again. Do not be afraid of oiling your hair if you’re staying at home.

You may need some prescription steroid cream such as Mometasone just tell the doctor

There have been clinical studies about steroid creams (corticosteroids) and depression. Steroid creams are literally the last resort and should be used as one.

Also, fatty (and moist) environment is the greatest breeding ground for seb derm and psoriasis fungus to develop.

Underrated

All these bullshit posts with only a few worthwhile things.

As someone that had Serb derm for 15+ years, the only times I got rid of it were:
>When I was using Ioinil T shampoo
This one is shit and I dropped it early on because it made my hair dry as fuck.

>When I shaved my head and then burned my head for staying outside too long
I was pleasantly surprised but not worth the pain and it comes back eventually.

>When I cut dairy and gluten out of my diet
There you go. If you spend enough time without eating both of them you can cheat a few times without getting full blown psoriasis.

I'm sure it's an autoimmune condition probably caused by shitty intestinal permeability, so a carnivore diet would probably help as well as doing FMD cycles to renew the epitelial cells on your intestines.

/thread

Corticosteroids are like real steroids. You cycle them for maximum efficacy because of dependence and it will make your skin thin and wrinkly over time. You should only use them when it is really bad or you have to look good for a date or interview or something. Doctors will tell you to use them 5 days on, 5 days off and it will come back with a vengeance every 5 days. Seb derm is life-long, so fuck that.

You should use both types of dandruff shampoo. Zinc stuff makes your skin stop flaking and thusly become less irritated, potentially mitigating the actual auto-immune response. The other stuff, selenium sulfide, kills the yeast that causes it. Selsun blue can have either active ingredient. Either one might work by itself, but it usually comes back after selsun blue dries your shit out or head and shoulders rebuilds the habitat.

If you alternate using one type each week your skin will eventually chill the hell out and forget about the ongoing war it was waging. Greasing up your face can reduce irritation but regrow the yeast. If you moisturize, save it for when you are on the selenium sulfide stuff. Head and shoulders is 2 in 1 and doesn't totally dry your shit out.

There are also special tanning beds that block the UV rays that burn you that are especially for skin conditions. You can get sterilized like a piece of produce.

If none of that works, you have AIDS. Not joking.

Truly epic post, my redditor. Do me a favor and fuck off back to r/fitness yeah?

My mom has that shit just as bad, on her elbows and knees as well.
It's been that bad on her elbows and knees for as long as I can remember.
But it got that bad after she was apparently on an experimental medication (data-mining whatever). She said the stuff worked really well, but anyone can see how much worse it got once she stopped taking it. I had pretty annoying seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and around my mouth.
The mouth shit clears up with moisture and constant shaving (sensitive shave creams - I should probably look into skin-care brands). I really did use a mixture of two anti-dandruff/psoriasis shampoos (one for smell and the other for medical grade action) and I haven't had a flake fall off my head in almost a year now.

My elbows now have the shit, and I can't wear a t-shirt without worrying my ass off. I might try a cream or ointment sometime later when I can afford it. Do strongly consider your diet and any irregularities you might notice in your digestion, etc. The advice these user's gave on that matter is something you need to take to heart. It could very well be a problem with your diet, or a lack of sun, too much of something, you name it. Try to keep careful track of everything you do,, and all the minor changes. Study those effects and change accordingly.
>people commonly fail to mention other effects too like
>clothes/bed sheets/pillows
>detergent
>air/environment
>animals
>exposure to chemicals
I've been around a lot of hairstyle chemicals growing up, so I've wondered about this a lot.
>stress/personal interactions
Good luck man.

High doses of vitamin D, noStress, less sugar and make sure you're getting all your vitamins/minerals especially iodine (salt is a fungul killer).

Tbh I have scalp/skin problems I think mine are caused by gut health and the fact I'm a turbulent fucker who's on edge 24/7.

How fucking filthy are you fuckers? I've never even seen people with this irl and everyone is saying they've had it.

How do you get rid of this shit when it’s on your eyelids? I’ve used clorteimazole every once in a while which helps manage it when my eyes get really flaky and red, but can never get it go away

With a spoon. Just scrape it off and eat it. Great for gains, loaded with protein and puss.

you are right that carnivore is the answer and it is an autoimmune condition. But dairy is fine if it is unpasteurized on carnivore. Can try working fruits/veggies/nuts back in to see if it causes a flair up.

First time I´ve seen this shit in my life. How fucking dirty you are OP (Incel Nigger) ?

Attached: 1486932102459.jpg (750x1067, 60K)

I had a lighter version of this (seborrhea) and tar soap/tar based shampoos helped a bit. They've got a specific smell tho, but I think there isn't much people there to smell you haha %%just like me%%.
Changing my died to avoid sugar and processed food helped a lot more. It also has something to do with stress, the more stressed you are the more likely that shit is to appear.

Yikes

Holy shit if I was this ugly I would fucking kill myself so fast particle physicists would struggle to prove I ever existed at all

vegan? are you retarded? i literally told people to eat meat you retard.

nah bro, casein fucks up my autoimmune issues. my seb derm always goes to shit when i have dairy.

How to apply coconut oil? Do you melt it first?

you aren't fooling us, faggot.
dairy to a vegan is just as bad as meat, and it's just as important that you want us to cut it out of our diets. you would take an necessary step for us to do so, because you probably think it's easier to cut out dairy than it is for us to cut out meat.
fuck off. your shilling tactics aren't welcome here.
>continues to knock dairy instead of emphasizing diet as a whole, immediately blames dairy above all
I've read the psoriasis survivors forums on this subject as well, and I know they same thing as well. you're just copying what they say if anything. either way, you're a fucking faggot.

just take the long hair pill, problem solved

Listen listen i had this for like 3 years straight and this 100% worked for me, just stop using shampoo products and shower your head more often. Getting a shorter haircut might help as well and taking cold showers improved just about everything about my scalp and hair

Kelual DS.

really? im doing this since a few weeks ago except cold showers and i still have some red zones and itching and dandruff

might be fungal (they never fucking test for it, even if you ask)

in which case, consider an iodine and/or boron regime

those worked for me

Killing your self you genetically inferior cunt

Holy fucking shit why do so many on Jow Forums have this?
The only disease on Jow Forums thTs allowed is being fat because you can fix that, otherwise please go ahead and kys

how did you consume iodine?

I'm a gastroenterologist but I know a lot about the medications you would be using. You will need to take a biologic.

I use this, it works.

Get some sun

This guy is on the right track. Had bad psoriasis for years, started to clean up my nutrition and heard about elimination diets for auto immune disease. Cut out all dairy and my skin has cleared up and I don't even need to use a moisturiser anymore.

jesus christ if this isn't you're a fucking retard. also, go to a doctor because you're probably a paranoid schizo.

caused by skin fungus that gets worse when you eat carbs.
should go away if you drastically reduce carb intake, try washing with Nizoral twice a week, or swimming in the ocean (salt kills microbes)

>carnivore
Retarded as fuck. There's plenty of food like tofu, rice, etc. that don't bring on psoriasis, which is mainly linked with celiac disease (gluten intolerance)

It's the ultimate elimination diet.

stop eating gluten

If you're lucky, pic related + diet + coal tar shampoo will keep it under control for you. Topical steroids are pretty inexpensive and worked great for me. I still get flare-ups, but it's relatively unnoticeable and doesn't spread too far if I stay vigilant in treating it.

If you're unlucky, you'll need Humira or some other immunosuppressant to even keep it manageable. Eventually, even that will stop probably working. Either way, this shit will be with you for life.

Lotrimin Ultra (Butanefine Hydrochloride) for a few weeks. No joke, I had scales on my face (Seb. Dermatitis) and that shit cleared up in two weeks.

Looks like leprosy.

Better pray to Jesus.

I stopped drinking coffee with whole milk altogether a few weeks ago, as well as stopping drinking, and my scalp has cleared up for the first time in years. Its not perfect yet, but its looking extremely healthy compared to how it was a few weeks ago.

>I owe it to avoiding sugar and going on a high fiber diet. The sugar from the whole milk in the coffee likely feeding bad gut bacteria and triggering it.

I only get it when my immune system is in the tank, that is when I'm sick or have been drinking heavily.

You will never get rid of the Spawn. Join the Hive Mind and be happy, underling.

>not drinking black coffee

wew lad.

At least you stopped drinking dairy
