When your body digest protein, it doesn't just stick it to muscles or whatever needs protein at the time. The protein you eat is not directly compatible with your body directly and must be broken down to its individual amino acids. Those amino acids are then used by your body to built protein structures.
Different sources of protein have different amino acid profiles and some are better than others. I hope that helps.

The amino acid profiles between different proteins really aren't that different. Go look up them up. At worst you'll have one amino acid slightly lower than the others to which the solution is to just eat more.
