Hey Jow Forums, I need some emergency advice from the meat eaters out there. I dont go on this board often but I assume the highest proportion of meet eaters is on here.
Last night, I went out to eat and ordered a burger, and didnt finish it (I had about half left). I asked for a box, put it in, and went home and put it in the fridge. I ordered the stake medium, so there was a little pink (they cooked it more like rare, but thats fine as I usually eat that. When I heated my burger up (did not look inside before putting it in the microwave), I noticed hardened bright red areas on the very outside of the beef. It was only the exposed bits to the air, and it did not run all the way through. They were very crispy and smelled very beefy. My question is what is it/is it safe, as I ate a little bit of it before hand. I assume it was not enough to have worms or bacteria, but I just want to be sure. I assume it has to do with the air? I need help as I need to know if it was dangerous and I should see a doctor for worms.
As for symptoms, currently the top of my stomach hurts a little and I am feeling a little queasy, but that may because I ate a lot today and if I have worms thats sickening.
>pic related, the most I could gather of the red bits
i think you'll be fine. It was a burger patty so who knows what sorts of shit is in there and how it would react in a microwave. It's probably safe to eat as it was meant to be - from the restaurant, not microwaved.

very I just want someone who knows so I know if I actually need to go to a doctor or not. im more concerned with my health than my ego at this point
Ryan Cruz
Ok, have you experienced this before? If not, do you think its cause of the meat itself or something else in the meat?
Robert Fisher
it's just dehydrated from air exposure, you'll be alright.
Justin Cook
thank you for your knowledge and genuine advice

It's microwaved blood. Don't be a retard, get your burgers well done. Ground beef is the most likely to be contaminated with bullshit.
Levi Price
Ok, i will head your advice in the future. If it is indeed microwaved blood, is it safe to consume? I assume it is as there is still blood in the burger at medium-rare, so microwaving wouldn't make it more dangerous?
Jace Sanders
If you're a healthy adult don't worry about it unless you get blood in your stools, blast watery shits all morning, or vomit more than a couple times. What's the time window between eating the first half and now?
Josiah Lee
Ok thank you. Time is approximately 24 hours (ate first half off the grill at 7 pm yesterday and the other half around the same time tonight), but it was in the fridge in a box for the entirety of that time.
Alexander Morales
Was it steak or ground beef? Either way I wouldn’t sweat it. I eat my steak rare and my ground beef I leave pink, even eat it raw sometimes.
Logan Peterson
Ground beef patty. I dont know the specific breakdown of the meats inside, but its ground.
Logan Hall
Update: Getting oddly hungry now. Maybe body accepting it as food or otherwise idk.

Ok, the incubation period for e-coli (worst case scenario) is like 1-4 days (sometimes longer). If you start to experience severe vomiting/diarrhea in that time go to a doctor. You're most likely fine, and it's some peculiarity of your microwave or the meat that made it look/taste weird. Even if you're not fine, you won't die. E-coli is rarely fatal in healthy adults that get treated for it.

thank you, I appreciate it.

I've had the same thing happen to a burger, I still ate it and nothing bad happened Don't worry my man
Dominic Evans
thank you I appreciate it greatly.

Update 2: Farts are VERY hot.

Dude. Post a picture of yourself OP. I want to know what kind of pussy freaks out like this over some undercooked beef.
I didnt freak out this much when my side bitch gave me the drip. Man up and down a glass of high proof if you're so worried about worms. Fuck me lads I didn't think I'd live to see the day boys grew up to be sniveling girls. My wife is harder than you and I can OHP her she's so light.
Camden Williams
that kind of attitude will make you die too young one day. You're the gym bro who'll eventually crush his neck trying to bench press too much because "bro I have to bro I am not gonna let chad over there out bench me". Idiot.
If you must know, I am very concerned as I have a lot of financial responsibility on me as I pay for my parents, brothers, and other relatives. If I die they all get impacted. I dont drink, smoke, or do anything because of it.

>implying I even lift >worried about dying from undercooked meat
OP, has anyone ever told you you're a faggot? Tell me more about yourself. I think there's some other problem that needs addressing here besides your eating habits.
Noah Barnes
Look, im not going to have an internet fight with you because I think I have my answers. You have nothing better to do than to try insult someone on the internet for asking a legitimate question because you are on here daily with no actual success to pursue. And i may be a paranoid faggot, but im a rich one with mouths to feed.
Excuse me sir, you're obviously in no immediate danger from the burger snd if your health were so precious to you and your family, you never would have risked eating obviously undercooked ground beef to begin with, much less go to a Polynesian surfboard enthusiast forum to ask for advice when anyone that's in such a position of responsibility and success as yourself would most likely have the common sense to either throw up the burger, know that it was most likely just dried blood, or simply microwave the patty until it was more thoroughly cooked.
So instead, in my last post, I suggested that maybe the real problem you're facing isn't an undercooked burger. Maybe you need someone to talk to about the overbearing weight of having to be the sole provider for your entire family and how the stress is starting to manifest in hysterical paranoia and reckless behavior. I thought maybe you might need someone to talk to about how you're so fed up with your duties that you sabotaged your own health by knowingly eating dangerously undercooked ground beef but then you had second thoughts and came here not for a cure to the possible parasites or bacteria, but to cry for help
I'm here for you user. Srs. Tell me what's going on.

(Secretly out with a back injury I got while squatting to impress a qt3.14 at the gym because OP was right about me, but don't tell him, he might make fun of me)

Don't worry senpai, the war is coming. Daily reminder to lift for the coming race war
The whole reason you can eat steaks rare is because the inside is completely guarded from the contaminated outside. Grounding meat mixes the innner and outer parts of meat.
Brandon Cruz
If you aren't vomiting or shitting your bowels out by now you'll be fine. And if you were, you'd still be fine. Your body is much more resilient than you think. People eat literally rotten things all the time
