boiz how do I get better at OHP. I'm thinking I might start training handstand pushups full ROM (with paralletes).
>tfw still don’t look like I lift
Shit larp
J-J-J...Jen Thompson?
>all these blu-men on this board
Jen Thompson is like 10x stronger than me, and I’m pretty sure all her stuff has to be world class (none of mine is). I BARELY qualify for the Arnold if that gives you some perspective. She’s amazing
where my blue boys at?
5 and a half months from DYEL skellington, green man here I come!
I just started 2 weeks ago
>tfw can't get a perfectly sculpted physique by squatting alone
I just like overhead press
Back Squat:140kg[Intermediate]
Deadlift:175kg[Proficient]
Bench Press:105kg[Intermediate]
Overhead Press:65kg[Intermediate]
Pendlay Row:100kg[Proficient]
Oh shit, I should probably test my actual 1RM. Feels good to get back into lifting after a 6 month pause to realize I not only haven't become weaker, I'm breaking my plateu.
on my way man
Do I need to download the app or does it work on the web page? What a fucking mess of a site btw.
I don't want to install random shit from dodgy developers.
Team green
Literally me.
why is Jow Forums so weak?
Once you gain enough basic knowledge it becomes more more like a chore to come on Jow Forums and browse the catalogue seeing the same beginner questions over and over again. It's handy when that's the info you're looking for but when you already know the answers it feels like work to reply to 90% of the threads.
So the vast majority of active posters are beginners and that's allright.
Finally not dyel blue
>feelsgoodman.jpg
Dyel skelly here (180cm, started at 56kg to 61kg). Been training for a month and half and went from >not being able to lift the bar to this. How am I doing Jow Forums?
How long did that progress take
Lifting a bit over 3.5 years and my bench press is still pathetic..
>feelsbadman
Yeet
>Tfw having kitchen redone so living on shit microwave meals and losing strength
You're nearly already benching more than my friend who's been training for a year, good progress.
Says 2 months but really about 10 weeks. I was eating like a pig for the first month, gained about 3lb, then started cutting back Cal and now I'm back to the same weight I started, just leaner. Progress has slowed but squat still going up. Adding rows, chins, curls, and some dumbbell chest/tricep work has helped with upper body and overall volume. I don't bench much so that 145 is just from the first 3-4 weeks. Dislocated my shoulder 3x so it's uncomfortable.
2 years, unfortunately a lot of that time fucking around and dieting
Are you in a wheelchair?
>tfw finally green man
holy fuck do i wish i just ate properly from the get go
Started 4 months ago

You Really Think Someone Would Do That? Just Go On the Internet and Tell Lies?
Prolly natural gifted strength, im a short guy so gains come very quickly. Oh and i have high test naturally...too bad it translates into shit ton of body hair
Why would i make up shit on a fking (not so) anonymous autismo image board, fking idiot
gren men

Last week i did 8x 75kg incline bench, while my flat bench was max at 65kg (slightly over own weight). Yesterday i tried flatbench 75kg for 1 rep which went really well, did it for 7 more reps and thought perhaps i can pull off 80kg because incline is supposed to be heavier i guess?. Which succeeded, did 6 reps on 80kg and the last 2 were like half reps with assistance from my fitbro.
Other than that, day 1 deadlift for me was 90k x 10, so doing 140kg for 5 reps after 4 months would be a logical development.
Squats...idk i think im failing a bit with that. Im trying to keep a good position but i keep struggling with 100kg squats. Havent really dared to up the weight to 110...
>cont2
I have a problem tho, maybe its just depression or something but lets say one day i can pull off a 1RM+increment, but few days later i cant even pull off 90% of my 1RM...its like im missing energy even tho my diet is not lacking. I have the feeling if my energylevels were consistent id be able to make faster gains
can you post the actual lifts in kg pls, just out of curiosity or tell me ur big 3
stfu and start going gym and stop seeing how good you can get in 4 months. Pro tip: you wont be as good as that
>in kg
Squat 100x6
DL 130x8
Inclinebench 75x8
Flatbench 80x8 (prolly 85x8 if i try before doing superset incline)
OHP 60x7 (gonna try 65kg tonight)
PR 60x8
>in burger
Squat 220x6
DL 286x8
Inclinebench 165x8
Flatbench 176x8
OHP 132x7
PR132x8
no dickweed i wanna know his lifts, i think its upping his stats because hes small, ie the lifts are impressive noob gains but nothing amazing
bodyweight? I'm guessing 75-80kg
>because hes small
Ratio my friendly user, can you OHP your own weight?
bretty good, will be a swole mole in no time
62kg
thats a negative boss, maybe it is the high test
Holy shit....ive been trying 55-60kg ohp for 2 weeks now and not really succeeding
>mfw 6'1 lanklet
>mfw 6 months in gym
Was i unlucky in genetics lotery or is this user just (un)lucky because manlet
Use the website
Tfw when lifted way too rarily for 4 years and went from this:
To this. 112kg/240lbs before and 98/220 after.
>Grandfather was a literal old times strongman and firefighter
>Tried lifting 7 years ago for a few years but never came above novice or intermediate even with plenty protein right weight gain and lots of pre-workout shit and having no full time job
I guess I was never really motivated as I had no end goal. In the end didn't seem worth the effort. Now I just deadlift, squat relatively light weights and do calisthenics in my apartment enough to not have backpain or such from my desk job. I also felt like an addict taking so much shit that made me feel energized.
Thanks for the symmetry, starting strength.
175lb bodyweight doing a PHUL variant
>Why would i make up shit on a fking (not so) anonymous autismo image board, fking idiot
u must be new
You guys been training your brain lately? 4 sets of 8-12 brain curls every day.
Not new, im here for and to share selfimprovement, if id feel trolling id go to Jow Forums or /incel9k
Train it three times a week
Do you have a manual labour job or did any physical activity before going the gym?
holy fuck that deadlift to squat ratio :OO
sumo?
Would you consider parttime shelving or parcel delivery next to full time study physical labour then yes
I am become benchlet destroyer of worlds
Been training together for maybe a year.
Been training for just about 6 months now. Stuck on these numbers for 2. I don't know wtf happened but progress just stopped 4 months in on everything except squats and deads.
I get good sleep, eat well and enough and go hard during workouts.
Tried changing rep schemes, going up and down in volume - everything.
Wtf do i do to unfuck my gains, brehs?
eat more
Progress stopped just as I started bulking on like 4500 kcals a day. Gained a shitload of weight, but no strength
Try adding variety and accessory lifts like chest flies/crossovers, incline bench, decline bench, dips, dumbbell presses?
>62kg
What are your T levels homo neanderthal?
I read and play chess.
3 month-ish
newfag here
Do SS, they said...
My user is /hitler.
Give me your username, Ill follow you.
Why does this titan have brains on it's chest
Been lifting for way too long to have these stats. Sleep and diet are not a meme kids.
Where do you work out?
You’ve posted this bullshit like 7 times in the last day gtfo
Uhhhh.... no?
what is the reasonable goal color?
what roughly aligns to the 1/2/3/4 grail?
sorry for the color being off, using flux. it's all blueboi except for 2 greens.
Light green aligns with /1/2/3/4.
Are you me? I have the longest fucking arms, ohp is a grind

>tfw years of swimming fucked my shoulder for bench and gave me no leg gains.
>tfw started a month ago
>i'm weaker than most of the people that just started hitting gym
Is there something wrong with me?
This actually made me really proud. We’re all gonna make it boys.
You just started too, if you're that weak you almost certainly need to eat more.
make way for the pushlet king
>you almost certainly need to eat more
I'm an absolute unit at the moment, so I definitely do not need any more food
