Lifting shoes

What shoes would you guys recommend for a new lifter ?

I wasn't aware there were different price ranges, and apparently adidas makes the Powerlift 3.1 for 80€, which is quite affordable.

What do you think?

you dont need lifting shoes to lift your measly lmao1pl8te deadlift and halfsquat your 70kgs

If you're a beginner get metcon 4 mate these are great for beginners.

Barefoot, or as close to barefoot as you can get

adidas power perfect ll .../end thread

cheapest chucks (the first version, not II) or adipower. if you buy anything in between price-wise it's a waste of money because you'll buy adipowers anyways.

This since 2011

Might help your squat if stability IS an issue. Otherwise there is no need.

But adipowers aren't sold in France.

Bump

High-top chuck taylors

If you want some adidas weightlifting shoes, wait for Christmars sales. I got the Powerlift 3.1 for only 40€.

I have the powerlift 3.1 in OP pic. They're pretty good.
The main thing is just to have some ankle support and a hard incompressible sole, heel height is gonna depend on what lifts you do and how mobile you are. (E.g. Oly lifts you'll want .75"-1")

Yikes

shoes should be the cheaper the better until you get good user
barefoot if you can feels great

dey gud op

if you don't want a heel look for throwing (shot put/discus) shoes. cheap, stout, metatarsal strap to keep your foot from rolling around. work boots will also work just fine for everything except maybe the quick lifts if you have a pair.

>not lifting barefoot in your homegym

How are the metcons in terms of minimalism. I've enjoyed NB Minimus and thought they're the closest thing to barefoot you can get but I'm thinking about changing.

.I've just bought an Asics Gel Kayano 25, they're very comfy. I use them for lift and running.

I need a pair of wide lifting shoes. I tried adidas powerlifters 3., but even those are 2 narrow

am i a retard for pronouncing yikes like nikes?
>yikees

I have the 2s and if you want to be as close to the ground as possible then you'll have to take out the insoles.
