Do you use Nootropics? Which ones? Have you noticed any improvements in preformance and how so?

Anybody tried phenibut?
Yes, testosterone. Increases my road rage performance. Today I threw a cup of coffee at a fat spics truck after she cut me off.
Bump
why didn't you check the archive we have this thread pretty much once a week
also tried a few best I've had is microdosing LSD (using volumetric dosing)
Take it every day for the last 2 years ama
1. Why did you decide to go on it
2. What effects did you feel as soon as u took it/1 day/1 week/1 month down the line
3. Is it worth the price
4. How much longer do you expect to be taking it
what cereal do you prefer
Piracetam every day, it's like you're not even human if you don't take it
how do you handle tolerance and addiction? are you worried about the long term neruo-degenerative issues or are the positive effects worth it?
i dont think test is a nootropic bruh

My phenibut arrived today. Hopefully it will remove the last bit of my autism preventing me from getting gf.

2. anxiety relief, motivation, depression is kill, kind of euphoric in the beginning. still have the same effects just to a lesser extent minus the euphoria.

addiction? i just remain addicted. for tolerance I use fasoracetam for a few days every couple weeks and I'll half my dose for those days. seems to keep my tolerance stable.
not really that worried, I've been on it for 3 years and if anything I've gotten smarter with the brain fog lifted. I've I understand it might creep up on me when I've been on it longer, i think I will quit in a year or so.
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
it's neuroprotective in some way apparently, but i don't really understand neuroscience so I'm not sure what this means for the average chronic user or long term effects.
how do you know you're getting smarter are you using any sites to benchmark brain performance like cambridgebrainsciences? or are you just going on anecdotal self reporting? also I could be wrong about brain decline then problem is most of the studies are in russian
A couple. Konnect has been the best I’ve taken. Only use them for study sessions
I've done Vyvanse, Adderall, and Modafinil as well as Tru Brain. I definitely noticed I was quicker but less creative. The issue I had was all the pharmas made me sweat even more, I'm already a sweaty bastard. The problem I ran into was that I'd get sucked into stupid shit, like rearranging my Work files or cleaning out my inbox. If you don't have chronic adhd I'd say use them when you really need the boost.
What dose did you start with? And what's your dose at now? Also what time of day do you take it? And do you respect the empty stomach + don't eat for 2 hours rule, or do you find it doesn't matter?

>anecdotal self reporting
yep. the only little benchmark I can reference is when writing assignments or discussing ideas I feel i can hold a lot of different pieces of info at once and juggle them around in my mind efficiently if that makes sense. I think it's called working memory. that has seemed to improve, but it's probably because the ever present anxiety was a cognitive impediment that the phenibut has removed, and not because phenibut has some more direct cognitive enhancing effect
well stick with it but be cautious, any sign of decline and see a doctor theres a reason russians didn't give it on repeat prescriptions constant gaba antagonists does bad things
started at around 1.5g once a day, now I take around 3.5g in the morning and another 1.5-2g in the afternoon. Yeah I do take it on an empty stomach and usually don't have any food at least 1 hour before and after taking it. I think with a little food it will still work just take longer to hit
