meat is haram now

hunt for your meat like how god intended you to
or just leave People's socialist democratic islamic republic of the united kingdom for a better country
I thought EU people could move whereever they wanted

Any big brand super store will sell 1kg of frozen chicken breast for around £3.33

farm crickets for yourself, OP
they're a good cheap source of protein

there's no difference in conventional beef and grass-fed organic beef

There’s literally nowhere to hunt in the UK. Our country isn’t 90% unoccupied land like the US is.

Outside of deals your local butcher will be more expensive than a supermarket but the butcher will have more variety and (mostly) better quality.

mate a 30 pound Turkey is like £40, for £3.33 you might get 200g of Chicken breast.

Aldi.

Costco

Remember to stockpile for post brexit. When we csn no longer blame the EU for our problems, meat, vidya and porn is next on the hitlist and without the EU to protect us its game over.

no they wont
what the fuck are you on about

honestly probably yeah unless you can find a good butchers, most will take the piss as much as supermarkets do

>meat

you do realise rural areas are tory strongholds and the working classes can't afford meat substitutes? meat isn't going anywhere

>vidya and porn

good, both should be banned to be honest

There have been two big news stories in the last week in the UK that push a negative view on meat. The first is how bad it is for you and how they want to tax it to reduce its consumption. The second is how bad cows are for the environment. The largest negative effect on the environment in the farming industry in the UK.

The media control the tories with their money. The tories will do as the media wishes.

>no irish representation
better off that way desu

these

I've actually gotten my best chicken meat from some muslim/jewish butchers before, if you can find a decent one you're set.

I saw whole chickens in Tesco for about £2.70 the other day

when I talked to local butchers they said they have the same conventional suppliers as local supermarkets. nice meme

Butchers will be the most expensive but your meat will be top notch quality. Supermarket meat will be cheap and the animals tortured and force fed their entire lives. The meat won’t taste as good but will have almost the exact same nutritional value

This - used to live near a Halal butcher and used to sell amazing quality chicken for £5/kilo.

Since I moved I either shop at Tesco (can usually get for about 5.50-6/kilo), or if you're on a tight budget you can do Lidl but you get shit-tier quality for cheap prices.

chickens going cheep

Better stock up now user before red meat is made illegal and your licence revoked

The high-street butchers I've been to have all been dogshit quality at high prices. I guess with town centre rents being as high as they are, they tend to have to chose bottom of the barrel suppliers. If you're in the right area a "farmshop" can be better. A little out of the way, a little pricey, but better quality. Amongst the supermarkets it's generally all the same poor quality. Water+salt injected chicken especially pisses me off.

Auscunt, why did you come to the UK?

Yeah they do

Aldi or Lidl.
My local lidl sells 4 drum with thigh together for £2, turkey breast and mince around £3, large chicken for £3.29.
They also do canned sardines for like £0.37
Cottage cheese for £0.57.
1 lite greek yogurt for like £2.50 or something.
15 medium eggs for £1.50 or £1.75.

Other protein foods they sell are nuts, seeds, sausages, cured meats, milk, tofu, cheeses and other meats (seafood, beef, pork, lamb).

I see them selling protein whey powder stuff sometimes or dried beef jerkies but idk they're more expensive to buy for small or the protein powder is probably bad.
