>go vegan >try to hide it because some people always flip shit about it >eventually someone at work finds out by glancing at my phone (was looking at a recipe with vegan in the title) >YOU'RE VEGAN?! >WHY?!?!?!?! >Uh well just personal reasons, some health reasons that's all >WHAT REASON COULD YOU POSSIBLY HAVE TO FOLLOW A CULT?? >yeah well it's not a cult it's just a diet for me so >YOU NEED MEAT YOU REALIZE THAT?? YOU NEED REAL PROTEIN NO VEGETABLES HAVE PROTEINS >that isn't true, and there's legumes and if you mean amino acids that's true but you can get some from hemp protein >YOU REALIZE THIS IS WHAT THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE, RIGHT? >yeah so I have work to do man >NONONONNONO DUDE YOU NEED STEAK HUMANS ARE GENETIC CARNIVORES YOU ARE DEPRIVING YOURSELF OF NUTRIENTS DO YOU WANT CANCER??? >dude who fucking cares about all this >SO LET ME GUESS YOU WANT EVERYONE TO BE VEGAN IS THAT IT >no I don't, can you stop >I WILL LITERALLY BUY YOU A STEAK
I never realized how many people are sociopaths when it comes to meat
Good to hear going vegan hasn't impaired your hobby of wolfing down cocks by the dozens, OP. Have a sage and hide.
Jason King
Thanks bud, so how far down can you go on your dad's cock now? Can you get down to the balls yet? Last time you mentioned it was one of your goals. Cheers
why not become a vegetarian so you can still eat as you are without people freaking over you im a vege and when i tell people they look suprised but i never get the OMG Y U R B DIFURNT?
Jordan Morgan
It isn't annoying enough yet to stop, also I don't make life choices based on what some yammering boomer at work thinks
Elijah Gutierrez
Id buy that tank top
Jonathan Cook
Thanks for blogging about your mental disorder, enjoy the free thread hiding.
Ryan Reyes
im talking about a literal title change since vegan is a meme
Juan Martinez
Do you really think that was a believable social interaction between you and a coworker? They may have made a one off comment or started a light conversation but you know damn well they didn't start yelling some long drawn out tirade against veganism. Stop being a faggot OP.
1/10 try harder
Josiah Stewart
Also >HURR DURR I don't ever tell anyone I'm a vegan Proceeds to immediately go onto a mongolian basket weaving forum to make a thread about being a vegan
>IAMSILLY If veganism is good, why do you have to resort to literal propaganda to justify your decision?
Ian Jenkins
Went vegan for several months out of curiosity, but also to hinder me helping myself to the meat pies that got thrown at me during work by the senior staff who always bought too much.
I chose to say that I was on a diet when I refused, and nobody had a drama except for "ull get skinny ya know" which considering at the time i was 180cm and 112kg yeah nah no risk there. As I got further into it and my meals got more thought out and very obviously vegan the heckles and constant drama started exactly like op describes.. It was really fucking strange.
Either way, I did my "time" as a vegan and chose to continue using milk products and eating eggs as I missed those the most.
Btu yeah people are really fucking autistic when it comes to the eating habits of others.. Its almost as if the fat cunts stuffing pies every day felt threatened that I was losing weight as a result and it directly challenged their "diet".
(down to 89kg now)
Luis Brooks
hehe
Nicholas Johnson
Lol some co-worker probably noticed the twink OP was a skinny starveling vegan like all other vegans and couldn't stop laughing at him..
>inb4 people preach vegans about being preachy >Do you really think that was a believable social interaction between you and a coworker? It is, watch everyone lose their shit in this thread in the same manner
I never understood why people are proud of eating meat and want to "stick it to those vegan libs haha!"
I eat meat who the fuck cares, meat is clearly a bad thing, it's destroying our environment and it's wasteful as fuck to raise and slaughter trillions of animals just to turn them into shitty ass $1.25 fast food items that don't even taste very good.
In an ideal world meat eating should be: Animals raised on a good farm by a farmer, not a factory owned by Jews where the animals can't even move. The animal gets to live a good life until it is slaughtered and turned into a delicious high quality meal. Meat should be a luxury and not mass farmed into low quality crap food filled with additives.
Ethan Long
He already had your thread faggot, just like I will
Evan Jones
>no u Good one you fucking faggot holy shit
Isaiah Walker
You should be thankful that they care enough about you to prevent you from starving yourself
Also typing your greentext with all caps makes you look like a reddit posting faggot
Austin Mitchell
>vegan for years >work finds out >get a bunch of interested questions >one cunt tries talking a bit of friendly shit >remind him I lift more than him >no more bantz Pretty ez desu
Nathan Cooper
>In an ideal world meat eating should be: Animals raised on a good farm by a farmer, not a factory owned by Jews where the animals can't even move. >The animal gets to live a good life until it is slaughtered and turned into a delicious high quality meal. >Meat should be a luxury and not mass farmed into low quality crap food filled with additives. So your ideal world is a preindustrial shithole?
Oh shit I thought this was a Peruvian flutecraft forum...
David Scott
>some are written by some minger lmfao
Daniel Diaz
Welvome to the vegan side where you realise the average person can think even less for themselves than you thought. ;)
Hunter Rodriguez
Anyone who continues the shitty npc meme should buy a colt and shoot themselves
Christopher Howard
nobody cares, fuck off. It's not just vegans though, half the cucks on this board are total fucking fanatics for some kind of meme or other. Think for yourselves for fucks sake, I know it's easy to just believe
You know people are against you being vegan because you are literally damaging your body by being vegan and they are trying to wake you up. Look at 5+ year vegans, they look like malnourished shit, rotting teeth, unhealthy hair, grey skin.
Vegan diets don't have over a dozen animalbased nutrients such as A,B6,B12,D,F,K2,heme-iron, fish oils, DHA, EPA, creatine and so on.
>vegan for health reasons No. There is no civilisation on earth that is vegan based and thrived. Use your head. There are no 2nd generation vegans. Use your head.
You cannot get animal based proteins and utrients from plant based supplements, they are not converted properly, do your research. They are not bioavailable.
You are literally slowly killing yourself. You'll feel better the first couple of months because compared to the normal standard "American" diet of course you'll feel better. Then the deficiencies kick in and you'll do irreversible damage to your body.
People are just trying to wake you up out of the vegan agenda cult.
How is eating this processed garbage considered healthy at all? Are you plant eaters serious? Just look at the chemical junk ingredients lol
Not an argument
Lucas Richardson
It does all the time though. There's even almost always at least one antivegan thread on Jow Forums
Anthony Sanders
Because veganism is a mental illness and they are trying to wake you up from the vegan mental illness propaganda. The anti-vegan threads are trying to help you and is doing you a favour
Everybody should just have to watch this documentary from start to finish. I started it without really knowing what it was and I wasn't able to eat any animal products for a month. I started eating cheese again and occasionally eggs though. It wasn't even the first I saw footage from slaughterhouses etc, but this one really fucked me up
David Wood
Is it about ethics again?
Austin Johnson
the way you type confirms vegans are indeed stupid.
Connor Murphy
>are trying to help you Even if I to assume for a moment that vegan was completely wrong the general hateful tone in these threads makes that very hard to believe. Even the vegan threads that aren't started with some provocative trolling OP are full of insults from antivegans. I don't get why people just don't mind their own business instead of trying to make others follow their particular diet. Vegans, antivegans, lowcarb, keto, etc should all just do what they want and stop bothering others t. not even vegan, just vegetarian
Matthew Green
The hateful anti-vegan insults woke me up from the vegan agenda, now being anti-vegan is a clear as day thing to do, and it woke up many other brain-washed vegans. Just look at ex-vegan testimonials.
It's not just minding their own business, it is effecting meat eaters. There was a proposed meat tax, as well negative health effects of vegan diet. If someone was unknowingly eating poison you'd want them to stop eating it
Liam Mitchell
Emotional garbage for young girls and beta males. Here you go:
>Emotional garbage for young girls and beta males Wow I'm impressed with your manliness you very manly man. Most people consider themselves animal lovers or at least claim that they wouldn't want animals to suffer. Buying cheap meat (paying others to make animals suffer) is just hypocritical. If you openly say you don't care about animals that's a whole different story without cognitive dissonance. I can't understand that, but I can accept that.
The tax would make sense from an environmental perspective though, like in many countries there is a higher tax for cars that use a lot of fuel. The negative health effects you refer to (I find the research to be still quite ambiguous) always bothers meat eaters so much. There are so many unhealthy diets that get shit on much less because it's up to the individual what they eat. Nobody is forced to eat vegetarian, let alone vegan for even a day in their lives.
Julian Reyes
Yeah what exactly does that mean? Do (((they))) go vegan purposefully to destroy their own health??
Theres not a big difference besides some imaginary line we draw in the sand. Before you make the argument these ones are bread to live with us blah blah. The concept is broken when bad breeding is producing so many pets with mental illness/ traits contrary to their domestication. The vast majority of pets are mutts at this point. Which lessens their distinction in fuction.
Connor Rivera
I can't really tell who in this thread is trying to be ironic anymore. OP was obviously either exaggerating or works with some real special individuals, but I run into similar reactions (toned down) pretty frequently as a vegetarian. Believe it or not, since I don't eat socially with 99% of the people I work with, most of them don't know I don't eat meat since I buck the hilarious meme about telling anyone and everyone about my food choices. When they do find out, usually it's some long drawn out conversation where they want to know why I don't eat meat, if I miss bacon (omg bacon amirite!!!), how I survive without any protein sources, how long I've been vegetarian, etc, etc. It's all a lot more probing into my personal life and choices than I'm really comfortable with since they usually want to complain against the answer I give to every question they ask. The whole dynamic around it is why I don't really talk about it much with people I'm not even close enough with to end up eating socially with. I've always found it interesting though because it basically flips the stupid (hilarious) tired (fresh and fun!) trope about the outspoken vegan/vegetarian on it's head, and I've found it to be super super common. Even extended family got their panties all fucking bunched up the first few times we shared a dinner table, although they're all shit cooks so now they're pretty ok with the situation since it just means they get a bunch of sides that are actually well made and then someone just has to come up with their entree.
Juan Lopez
There is a difference between a pet and an animal bred to be used as food. Speciism argument is so fucking stupid. One is bred for food and one isn't.
Colton Johnson
If a dumb cunt wants to eat grass and fruits that's fine. I don't fucking care. You could just continue slowly killing yourself, you deserve it.
More meat for me.
Brandon Adams
As a vegetarian you probably look normal. Vegetarians consume essential animal fats in milk, cheese, eggs, or whatever. It's the strict 'vegans' who have that emaciated look of walking corpses.
Strict vegans avoid even milk, cheese, and eggs. vegans avoid even cake and ice cream if it isn't special snowflake vegan ice cream.
I consider vegetarians to be on my side of the war-- people who love milk and eggs like I do.
Landon Williams
That's a conceptual distinction not an actual one. Theres dogs specifically for food and fur but that dosent mean they cant just as easily be pets. Of course theres always another designation wild animals.
Zachary Davis
Where is your brand on morality and ethics (that the majority of the earth disagrees with) come from? what is it based on lol
Christopher Williams
You can make a rock into pet if you want to. I don't care if other rocks are used to make roads, I love and care for one I own.
Kevin Lewis
From a model of consequence.
Dylan Miller
>vegans: "WHY DO THEY PERSECUTE ME SO" I see that the lack of protein is affecting your brain.
It's simple: veganism is perceived as (and mostly accurately perceived as) the domain of insufferable hippy faggots. Now, whether or not you are a hippy faggot is immaterial. Being a vegan is enough for people who only know you at a surface level to perceive you as such.
And you know what insufferable hippy faggots are? Insufferable. And also a minority. So you're in a camp of people who are despised and, due to your minority status and the dubious value of your behaviours, also an easy target for the kind of behaviour that reinforces the in-group preference of the minority.
You are a "safe target" for people to hit on so that they can demonstrate how much they are "one of the team."
That's why.
I never want to see this stupid fucking thread again.
Liam Williams
What? Humans are animal-eaters and need to eat animal products for optimal health
Parker White
Yeah, I mean... You can be full vegan and not look like the cast of Les Mis, but it's expensive and a massive pain in the ass. I feel like vegetarians span the same spectrum of eating habits that omnivores do - some eat trash and get fat or emaciated, some eat well and are healthy. A vegan diet kind of defaults to the poles because of how many lab derived supplements you need long term to cover your micro nutrients.
Bentley Allen
>You can be full vegan and not look like the cast of Les Mis, Only for the first 6months-3 years. After that deficiencies kick in and you will look severely malnourished.
Easton Gray
Why not eat bugs then? Or right, another line in the sand "because they're icky:
Aiden Morris
Did you finish reading the post user? You can fill your micros with lab derived supplements if you go out of your way to do so. It's just not something the vast majority of vegans do.
I don't need to justify my beliefs to the fucking peanut gallery. I can do whatever the fuck I want. The entire world is my property. I merely have to attain power over it.
Chase Garcia
They literally cant grown plants on a reasonable scale so at least they have an excuse worth humoring.
David Price
Why don't vegans care about micronutrients or bioavailability?
They thrive on a diet of animal products eating their meat, organs with the need of literally NO supplementation to lead an optimal life, yet I am somehow meant to stuff my face with plants and take (((supplements))) because 'muh meat is murder'. Vegan reasoning makes literally 0 sense
Samuel Fisher
Causality
Ethan Lee
Because they are severely brain washed, and the more they are vegan the more their brain dies and becomes increasingly difficult to change their minds.
Veganism = malnourishment = mental illness
beautiful collage btw
Jaxson Sullivan
A meaningless spook.
Xavier Nelson
Theres a lot less of them and they have the infant mortality of a 3rd world country so I wouldn't call that thriving. Their food source is sustainable for them yours is not.
Luke Green
Whatever ya gotta tell yourself buddy.
John Lee
Why are you linking infant mortality to diet? Obviously that is linked to medical intervention not diet. When you look at their life expectancy it is normal, and they are thriving in peak physical condition.
>food source is sustainable How about you use your head and realize how people have been farming animals since the dawn of time lol. Animals provide back to the environment with their grazing and excrements and produce a net positive to the environment, keeping the soil fertile with nitrates etc. keeping the soil very healthy and fertile.
Vegan farming does not give back to the environment and basically kills the soil. Vegan farming is not sustainable.
Asher Brooks
>my food source isn't sustainable How does that make any goddamn sense?
Christopher Gonzalez
Take your slave morality and get the fuck off of my astral plane you shitcunt.
Your demiurge-inspired system of German idealism won't control my mind-spirit.
Luke Lopez
and that guys name was Albert Einstein
Jack Roberts
It may not be sustainable for the west to feed all of fucking Africa, for free, forever. But I doubt that is what the (((vegans))) mean. They want us to starve, so no Black is ever left unfed for a single minute.
If we could feed the vegans to Africa it would solve 100% of the world's problems.
Jacob Scott
It already has
Cameron Sullivan
Except the part where we sent the meat everywhere and our shit is literally toxic to the environment because of our titanic numbers. Humans as a whole are only sustainable if we reduced our population to 10% of it's current size.
Logan Wilson
overpopulation is a myth, the world population is only around 500 million
