I don't care about what all the shit you will give but here i go.

>Went from 264lbs to 145 in the last 4 years. Burned through all the fat but also all my muscle.
>Erased all processed food, high-sugar shit and co. from life
>Eating under 1400 cal. a day
>Permanent back pain
>Working 52h a week infront of computer
>walkingcorpse.mov

>Started lifting in Sept.
>Mostly strengthening program and eating more cal
>Discovered deadlifts
>5 reps at 30kg was the best I could do

Last Saturday I had a good session with 80Kg, pretty sure I can go to 90/95kg.

I fuckin love deadlifts.

>new pr of 260lb x 5 feeling like a champ
>immediately team of five chads come in shooting the shit and each pull five plate
It was a harsh mogging but a much needed reminder that I am still weak lmao

the tiptoe away was cute af

i knocked out 295lb x 7 last week, pretty stoked to hit 1.5x bw. hoping my noobgains last til the new year and i hit lmao3pl8
>>mfw skinnyfat 6'1" 195lb

>injured right wrist so badly I couldn't pronate the hand for 6 months
>year later I still can't lift anything significant with an underhand grip

DL dropped by nearly 200lbs not being able to do mixed grip. On the bright side though it forced me to improve my grip strength and I'm pulling 420 double overhand now.

>sumo
>westside
You. Are. A. Massive. Faggot.

deadlifts are a great mass builde-

>powerlifters are bodybuilders who realized they have terrible genetics but still want to show off in the gym

My sumo is 450 and plateaued to all fuck bc I started cutting. I also decided sumo is a good accessory but conventional is my real dl. Sumo is cheating.

That being said my conventional is fuckin 415. I want lmao 5pl8 for reps. What program should I do?

Hook grip you griplet

Brah, how do I increase my deadlift? I bottomed out at 335. The problem isn't fucking eating, I am doing GOMAD now. I just wanna be strong.

been working out for a year, was scared to deadlift because of a lower back injury but decided to incorporate them. after two months i pr'd 375 for two. felt insane and has since fueled my current powerlifting obsession

how do you get these to webm? whenever i do it it ends up being too big to post and i could definitely benefit from a form check

Here's my diddly progression. There was a 4 month cut in there which I kept improving through and I'm taking it slow because 30yo boomer. At this point it's my grip strength holding me back and working out in a tropical humid country makes my hands slippery af.

Chalk helps with the sweat. I have really sweating hands and have to chalk or glove up. Straps are also and option if you want to keep the double overhand going over mixed grip, but you won't get the grip training in with them.

I can DO lmao4pl8 and specifically trained grip to get up there. I used to struggle with 2.5pl8. Things that helped me:
>heavy as shit barbell shrugs, then holding the bar to failure after reps
>dead hangs
>CoC .5, 1, 1.5
should prolly do farmer's walks as well. My grip is already in the 1%, but I want it up to 500lbs combined. That would be like the 0.0001% for grip strength.

Yeah I'll probably invest in some chalk, I'm already doing mixed grip alternating each set but I'd rather do it without straps because irrational pride. I do hanging leg raises a couple of times a week which helps with the grip too.

>don't tell me nobody on Jow Forums cares about the king of all lifts (deadlift)
bench press is the best gauge of RAW PHYSICAL STRENGTH. you only downplay this because you're a pudgy, weak little shit of a manlet with an equally embarrassing bench press.

nobody gives a shit that you can bounce your morbidly obese gut off of your legs for your little bullshit wide stance "squat". nobody cares about your 5 inch ROM sumo "deadlift".

bench. press. is. king.

t. dyel

Deadlift twice a week imho. One more volume one more intense.

I have trouble recovering from just once a week right now. I work up to a heavy double then back off to 70% and do 5x3 with 90s rest. I definitely learned I can't squat and deadlift same day either, one will completely fuck the other for me. I have a long torso and am 6'2 so my squat is disproportionately high at 405 relative to my deadlift, not sure if that matters.

That's a sumo deadlift!

Is 100kg impressive for a grill? I can do a few reps with 90 and think I'm ready to try 100 next time

my gril been training for a year and does 185x3.
exrx.net/Testing/WeightLifting/DeadliftStandards
there's your objective measure tho

Straight up don't even remember what is on the bar.

My grip is honestly terrible without chalk, have the sweatiest hands.

not the poster you replied to, but the secondary day should be a less specific movement and possibly less systemically stressful, so that it's possible to recover from both days
think high handle trap bar or snatch grip or something

>dont remember
>its 4.5 plates
>Thinks this is impressive

For reps maybe? My gf maxes 3plate and she looks dyel

Encode them in Xmedia Recode. It has a bitrate calculator or you can just do it by trial and error.

I'm finally DLing 4 plate for 5 reps now and it feels great.

Omg no one panic... No sudden movements boys, just. Act. Natural.

I think there is a real life grill on this forum at this very moment.

Never said it was impressive lol, also squat is far superior

Sumo is useless for size

Lankfag here with long ass legs. I can squat 160 but I can't deadlift for shit without lower back pain.
Should I just give in and learn sumo?

I found it impressive. Yiu're either the top 1prc or shit aint impressive. Fucked up attitude.

Would sumo work with light enough weight?

>sumo

yeah sumo is a great accessory for conventional

There's literally nothing wrong with doing both.

why does every Deadlifter looks ugly?

Nice looking bulge bro

Caught ya mirin

Ok it's probably not impressive lol. Maybe one day I'll have a deadlift that will quake the floor and warn my enemies but until then
>mfw i keep relapsing to a restrictive eating disorder every time i put on any weight and thus have made fuck all gains in two years, i keep going back and forth between a bulk and straight up anorexia and my lifts never get heavier
