@everyone
Help me!!

Jesus user, way too much water/milk!

Best way to know if you've cooked it correctly, grab a sizeable chunk with your spoon, let it slowly fall off, if any water/residue starts flowing off, then you've overcooked/flooded with with water/milk.

It should be like a grainy paste.

Troll thread but you didn't even heat it up.

Put some cinnamon on that shit and cut up a banana. Take a spoonful, put it in your mouth then take a big swig of water and swallow it all (no homo).

scoop of protein powder, add more water if necessary

who else here eats their oatmeal cold with a shit tonne of milk? no flavours added

i usually add a little honey,cinnamon and a banana,it tastes completely fine

just close your eyes pretend it’s a big bowl of jizz you homo

Nigga,are you retarded?

just add how much oats you want to eat (i usually go for a cup) and add milk uniformelly until the oats are submerged (1 glass of milk should do the trick, don't put too much).

Than microwave for 2-3 minutes

this is what I do

>get fine oats
>grind them down in a blender
>it's oat powder now

>60g oat powder
>on scoop whey of choice
>1 large banana
>spoonful natty pb
>almond milk
>mix it up

rounds up to about 600kcal. And it's delicious.

> 50g oats
> 350ml milk
> sauce pan

Put oats and milk in sauce pan, turn on heat, let it gently boil (turn down heat if it gets crazy), keep stirring so it doesn't stick to the pan, should take about 3-5 minutes to get to a nice porridge texture. Add some kind of sweetner, syrup, honey, sugar, fruit, whatever you want. It's fucking amazing.

I do occasionally. I soak steel cut oats overnight. Not bad, but I prefer them hot with butter and salt.

based baby food eater

dang bruh sorry your mealoats are hIGHLY slimy

3 dl oats
1 banana
2 tbs peanutbutter

Mix it up in a mixer until it's like a dough, make small cookies/balls, just scoop it out with a spoon, put them in the oven for 10 minutes. Easiest way to eat oats ever it doesn't even feel like you've eaten after. Good for bulking not cutting though I guess.

Repeat after me:
>1 cup porridge oats
>2 cups milk (not fucking water you poorfag)
>into a saucepan
>bring to the boil
>lower the heat or you'll burn the shit out of your pan
>stir while it cooks, it'll be ready when the liquid has mostly gone
>should have a soft cementy texture
>pour into your favourite bowl
>serve with bananas, honey, almonds, cinnamon, blueberries
Imagine being an American and never knowing what real porridge is like

>cooking your oats and not just leaving them to soak overnight.

This.
Discovered after 23 years that oatmeal with milk is far superior to oatmeal with water.

I mostly just rawdog them, sometimes with a soupspoon of milk and just enough rice/corn flour to make it stcky.

Still havent fi ished it

When I was growing up my mother used to cook porridge with water and then add cold milk into the bowl and sprinkle salt on the top.
>8 years old
>cold winter morning, still dark outside
>can see my breath even though I'm indoors
>sleepily getting ready for school
>big warm bowl of traditional style porridge to start the day
Those were the days

Should add cinnamon while it's cooking imo, adding it afterwards makes it dry out

I eat it with cold water and protein mixed in
