Do you have tinnitus? I discovered I have it, I thought it was electronic buzz at first but after switching rooms it’s still there. I hate this. I can’t sleep when there’s noise.
Do you have tinnitus? I discovered I have it...
are you looking for fashionable hearing aids or audiologist core?
Mine are all black. Dunno if that's effay or not.
it is, might make them more pronounced but own that shit with all black
100% not.
Rainy mood and those stupid 432hz meditation type videos when you sleep. I only have it in my left ear and it flares up to be insufferable about once a month.
I have it but I'm always so tired I sleep with it anyways. It got better since it started 6 months ago. Went to 3 ENTs one even had some subspecialty in audiology. Nothing helped so I guess I'm stuck with it. It all started with middle ear infection.
Only other options were tan, blue or red. I'm happy with the black.
How is tinnitus connected to hearing aids?

MAKE IT STOP
I have gotten flashes of tinnitus every 4 or so months for thirty seconds ever since I was a child. really dreading the day when it just doesn't stop
I have had it for about 2 years and would pay a health sum to fix it. wearing a hearing aid is not an option.
As long as you protect your hearing, you will be fine. I have the same flare ups as you, but my tinnitus was caused by too many loud concerts.
Stress and depression can cause it too
I've dealt with it for years. Too many rock concerts and a career as a cargo pilot in shit tier aircraft and cheep headsets. For me it's constant in both ears. It becomes more noticeable when I'm fatigued and tired. I need to have some sound going at all times or I go nuts, because it's so intense. I sleep with a fan going full blast in the room. It helps mask the ringing. I have a radio or TV going all the time to help cover up the ringing when I'm awake. I noticed that if my attention is focused on something, it's not as noticeable, because of the distraction. You'll adapt to it, or you'll go crazy. Good luck and godspeed, user.
had since i was 16 never listened to music too loud just got it after getting a ear infection, its constant but i can live with it
3 years by now, still a pain in the ass.
I only get tinitus when I drink
when its completely silent, I hear a very faint, distant ééééé sound, but otherwise I never notice it
is this tinnitus or does everyone have this to some degree?
There was a black out the other night and my tinnitus went full blast. My eyes are tired as shit but couldn't slept a wink. I thought I'm gonna die of a heart failure because it was beating so fast. Easily one of the most horrifying moments of my life
I have it, I got used to it after a while. Then I spent time with screaming children and it came back bad, acompanied by wicked sound sensitivity. Then they faded and now I'm basically fine again, except for very sharp loud sounds like throwing glass into the glass recycling bin.
Lowering my blood pressure, meditation, and working on my stress and anxiety helped me reduce it.
Barely notice it if I'm having a peaceful month but if I let myself get bothered by shit too much it gets loud, honestly feels more like a psychological process at this point
also focusing on it worsens it.
I didn't notice any ringing until I saw this thread, so try to keep it out of mind once you found ways to manage it.
Ends up feeling like you have tinnitus just once in a while rather than constantly when you can automatically move it to the background
Have it since being a child. I remember how my parents got me a cd player, so i can listen to stuff wen going to sleep because I couldnt stand it back then. Today I barely even notice it. Maybe when it is silent, but even then it is not annoying anymore.
Listen to audiobooks in a language you are trying to learn when you are going to sleep. So you can make the best out of it
pic unrelated red pill
I've had constant tinnitus in both ears for the past 12 years. The good news is that I barely notice it now. The bad news is that it means I'm happy ever mindful, because I find it very very hard to sit in a quiet room with a blank mind. Overall though that's something I can cope with, and it doesn't affect me that much any more.
>If I concentrate really hard, I can remember what it's like to be in a quiet room and hear breathing, rustling clothes etc punctuating the total silence
Good advice man I'll try it out, thanks
I've had it since I was 8 (24 now). I hear it pretty much all the time but after a while you get used to it.
I think of it as a loud clock in the living room or something like that, you hear it all the time but you really only get annoyed by it when you think about it.
get used to it fag, have had it for around 5 years and learned to ignore it.

How do you like being a pilot as a career? I have a PPL but work in a different field. I'm considering switching over but feel like it might get dull after a while.
Same here desu, it's always there, had it for as long as I can remember. I'm a musician and I think playing stadium rock has fucked my ears, my parents were musicians too so I grew up going to concerts. I have to ask people to repeat themselves a lot
I'm only 25. Noticed my tinnitus a lot more in recent months and I'm starting to think about the possibility of serious hearing loss/deafness in the future. I should go and get my ears checked
Jesus christ canada
Yeah it's normal.
I've heard that lsd can fix it, anyone have any experience with this?
When I do the dishes the slightest sound of plates hitting or silverware hitting hurts my eardrums. Idk if that technically tinnitus but it shows what listening to music on full volume for years will do to you.
I wish I was a kid again so I could expirience dead silence again.
Ye I got it. Since I started worrying about everything. The less I worry the less it bothers me. Diet, fasting etc. All of which I thought would be the answer don't seem to matter
you just stop thinking of it and it no longer bothers you. it's not a medical problem, you have anxiety from something that's putting your senses on alert.
do not.
No, wouldn't recommend LSD desu
Why
I have it, yup. From listening to music at max volume for years, and I'm only 23 desu
It's pointless. There are much more pleasurable and useful things
You want to know how I got my tinnitus?
It so happens that my toilet is in a tiny enclosed area, one day the lid fell on it's own while I washed my hands, and it made such a loud clap sound ut gave me tinnitus.
Tinnitus is usually neurological. An ENT won't be of much help.
Not that they're really is anything you can do to help tinnitus
No, Tinnitus develops trough defect auditory cells in your cochlear, means a tinnitus always comes with some degree of hearing loss. Basically, your brain expects some signal from your defect auditory cells, and because it gets none, the brain starts creating a signal itself, in most cases a high pitched noise.
