The cheapest meat I can buy is ground pork, at about $1 per pound. Would it be bad if I ate exclusively ground pork as my protein source?

Unless you're trying to gain weight render out as much fat as you can. Ground pork is very not lean.

It's okay, but it's not great.
Lots of fat, not the good kind.
If you could add fish, beans etc once in a while, it would be seriously beneficial.
It's never good to have *a* source of something, it should always be varied.

>fat is bad joojoo

christ kys for fuck sake

I never said fat is bad, but without a significant amount of fat being rendered out it's needlessly calorically dense if you're not trying to gain weight or don't need 3500+ calories to maintain weight.

Not who you are responding to but my tdee is 3400 lmfao. 6'3, 225, active job.

Pork is haram

This. Mashalla

get beef if you can. leaner and more protons

Yeah, it's good. One of the top protein sources there is. If it gets boring after some time change it up a little bit. Fat is good and healthy, good for digestion.

Don't listen to these two

Then you should be fine.
t. Pretty much the same

Unironically this

Yeah it would be bad for you, just get some cheap beef or something

I use ground turkey meat almost exclusively, military commissaries have them in varying degrees of leaness (10%/5%/etc) and they are pretty cheap, low sodium and protein dense

Fuck, do I need to switch to a low neutron isotope diet? I thought I needed more neutrons for dem nuclear gains

beef where I live is like 5x more expensive, hence the pork

>might taste like shit
>antibiotics etc

>pork
>taste like shit

"No."

This, Akhi.

Do u kno de whey, brutha

Yes excessive fat is bad, especially if we are talking literal pig lard, you fat retard.
It will cause heart disease, clogged arteries, diabetes, cancer and a whole myriad of other things.
There is a difference between fat from a walnut and pork belly, too.
Not that some memeing ketofag would understand that, go pour butter over bacon and die at age 35.

don't get rich spending money, CICO+MIMO=ripped and rich

everything in excess could be detrimental in one way or another.
invest in yourself, maybe you have no money, but still make an effort.
but, if you are going to go for this kind of meat every day, at least have some veggies with it, since it helps digestion and (can remember the sources were i read this) also contributes somehow to absortion of nutrients from fatty meats. brocoli, spinach, green veggies in general.

cant¨*

That's fucking gross... You Midwesterners are disgusting as fuck

you can find cheaper plant based sources of protein desu

People like you with no real knowledge of nutrition really shouldn't be posting as confidently as you are. It's dangerous, people will listen to you. Please stop giving advice until you do some genuine research.

It is a complete protein, but you should probably add some beans to that and make chili.

Get some pork shoulder instead. Throw it in a crock pot w alot of seasoning. Shred it. Put your fave BBQ sauce. Good bread toasted. Then slice some avacados on there. Best pulled pork sandwich ever!
No joke. Better than chicken, fish and turkey burgers. Literally the best thing Ive had in the last month. Just try to get a couple smaller cuts so the seasoning penetrates. Ive gone w bigger and didnt taste as good.

Seriously though is there a nutritional difference between pork, chicken and beef fat?

If there is which one is "healthier"?

They have different nutrients, pork is high in potassium for example, beef is high in vitamin B, etc

>the cheapest meat I can find in Australia is $8/kg for ground beef
wtf

High in fat so it depends on your macros.

Costco frozen boxed chicken breasts are the cheapest meat by amount of protein.

Same price in Scandinavia, don't worry brother. Whey is the way for those of us too poor for meat.

Based Bashar post

>"turkey leg"
>picture shows cow femur

Has the person that made this never seen a turkey before wtf

Bulking on chicken breast is a pain.

Yes, me and every medical expert and study ever done on this subject should really listen to some retarded meme broscience shit that you learned on this website.
>eating bacon with butter exclusively is very healthy

Chicken and lean beef have less fat in general.
Animal fats in general are higher in saturated fats, which cause health problems.
Fish is an exception, it is filled with good fatty acids.
>inb4 Ketofags having another meltdown over their unhealthy diet

beans are cheap as fuck, make pork and beans

>hur do ur research
fucking dumbass retard literally shilling for the consumption of fucking pig lard lmao

>which one is healthier
the one that has the least saturated and trans fats, and overall contaminants like dioxins, anti biotics, pcb's, etc.

which is?

Eh, pig meat isn't very good. You'll get big, but you won't feel good getting big eating it, at least from my experience. If you cook it, it won't have a lot of nutrients to it except the macros, and you're not about to eat raw pig I'm guessing. Honestly, opt for something else. Eggs are great if their yolk is orange, salmon is amazing if caught wild but if its farmed it's so-so. Beef can be good too unless its been grain fed, in which case its micronutrient content has been heavily compromised. This applies to milk too. Chicken is bad as well if its only been eating grains.

I realize I've mostly ruled out foods you can eat, but honestly just don't overdo any type of food. Have some variation. Who knows, you might just get to eat a chicken who's had a worm or two to eat in his life.

the answer is none of the above
lean wild meats is the only type of meat that our ancestors have been eating since they became homo sapiens.
that and lean fish
humans are essentially pescatarian great apes

>Eggs are great if their yolk is orange

What do you mean by this?

it's obviously a very tiny pupper, user

Unless you live somewhere near water or at least where wild game is accessible you pretty much fuck no matter what then.

The shitty farmed fish and "wild" one are pretty much all contaminated in some way. Even organic food gets caught with trace of contaminants.

Attached: hell.jpg (600x500, 53K)

mashalla brother

Attached: 1b9.jpg (640x539, 43K)

farmed fish and wild too are all contaminated yes, which is a shame because they are the best meats for our biology
elk or venison are good choices though

You must be deathly afraid of background radiation.

But there's more of a charge for beef.

Calculate price based off the amount of meat you get once you render out the amount of fat you want to fit your macros, depending on who you are/what your goals are it might be cheaper to go with ground turkey/chicken

I was replying to a specific post and you're just too much of a brainlet to get my answer. I'm basically saying we are completely unaware of what we eat no matter the source.

I personally eat all the meat and fish I can get my hands on.

wouldn't be healthy but would make you stronger

it's this simple

digusting kuffar whore

>The cheapest meat I can buy is ground pork
It's not a good idea in general to buy ground meat. Most of the time it's made from the shittiest meat around. You're better off buying meat and grounding it yourself, that way you can control how fatty it is.

that's not incredibly practical for most people

That means the hen that laid that egg had eaten a worm or two.

>ground pork, at about $1 per pound
the only things that makes me jelous of murricans is the price of meat, because that s just an insanely low price to me
