TKD is used by some power athletes, so is worth a bit of a gander I think.

There's all kinds of science shit too complex for me to understand, but I did it and:
- Lost 8 kg in 1.5 months
- Regained control of my appetite
I did it to regain control of my appetite cause keto food is kind of unvaried when you do it for some time and you get bored of eating. Now I can stay without eating for a while and only eat more if I'm actually hungry.
Had to get in control of my appetite since it was huge even though how often/what I exercised had changed. Would recommend for that.
It's pretty good for weightloss but eating almost only fats and protein has its own downsides.

I went from obese to overweight on CICO + low sugar and then stalled. Keto + OMAD got me down to a healthy weight and is easy to maintain.

Keeping insulin levels low is the biggest key to losing fat.

My problem with it is.. If I stop eating carbs I'm mostly losing water retention weight so when I start to eat carbs again won't I just get all my weight back? I do OMAD but without keto and losing about 4-5lbs a month

i think keto is great if you mainly eat fibrous veggies, limit the starchy ones, limit the fruit, limit the nuts and beans, cut the grains and sugar to almost nothing.

eat animal proteins like eggs, lean meat, low-sugar dairy and consume healthy fats from non-sugary fruits like olive and avocado.

i wouldn't eat tons of coconut or palm oil or cocoa butter, and i certainly wouldn't be doing shots of bacon grease and butter.

low carb is the key to keep insulin under control. eat enough protein to repair and build, but not enough to be converted to glycogen.

you don't need the high fat. just eat enough fat to feel full. don't overdo it. don't be disgusting.
