I can guarantee everyone you meet notices that you smell bad.
Im sure my hair doesnt smell
I havent used shampoo or shower gel in 5 years and i have a gf, a job and friends where no one notices
Any tips to get rid of grease?
I didn't really know this was a meme on here, but back.in April I begun washing my hair with soap only every 4-9 days, and everyday with plain water.
Dropped shampoo completely.
Until two months ago I had zero problems, but recently (since september) my scalp's been itchy at least two days/week on average, some dandruff too.
Will just have to wait and see what happens, and experiment with things.
I dunno man, just scrup your hair properly and shower most days. You get into a routine after a while
they know.
nopoo is not a meme. After 6 months to a yer, your hair will be 10x nicer than it was on shampo. IT gets more matte and, thicker, and sorta waxier feeling, like you have natural hair gel in, so you can style it nicely without doing anything.
At the beginning, it will get greasy quickly, so you have to wash with baking soda, followed by apple cidre vinegar once a week, then you cut it down to once every two weeks, then every 3. After 6 months, you will only need to do NaHCO3/ACV once a month. On the days you don't use it, just rinse your hair for a long time and use your fingers to push the oil from the roots down to the tips of the hair while you're rinsing it. To do the NaHCO3/ACV properly, you put a bit of baking soda in a cup, then add water, and splash it over your head, then you really smush it into your scalp with your finger tips, like you were giving yourself a massage, before rinsing it out. With the ACV, you just put about 10-20mL in a cup, then dilute with water, pour it over your head, and then distribute it with your fingers. If you do it right, you should feel your hair start to get sorta softer feeling. The brand of the acv matters. You need to use decent quality acv. I use pic related.
i havent washed my hair in years and it looks fine
you need to do it a few months before it adjusts
obv when u dry your hair unaturally it will go into overdrive grease production to make up for it, thats the first few week or months, after that it will adjust and be nicer, patience
obv
There's literally no point in going nopoo if your hair is already naturally oily. Shampoo is meant to clean your hair by getting rid of excess oils and residue, not necessarily to keep it healthy. My hair's all fucked up and dry and shampoo rapes the shit out of it, so I just use moisturizer instead.
Haven't used shampoo in about a year. I just use water and once a week or so I wash it with a ketoconazole shampoo. The fist 2 weeks I had problems with greasy hair but that went away after that. My hair looks thicker and more matte.
For me the only thing that helped was ketoconazole shampoo. Your scalp basically has a fungus in it that regulates the moisture levels. If that fungus goes out of control it leads to dandruff and dryness. Ketoconazole shampoo fixes it, try it. Way better than shit like head and shoulders.
are you a retard?
Switch to natural tea tree oil soap and wash every 5 days along with a natural conditioner. Look up dr bronners.
It's the chemicals in the shampoo you need to avoid. Just wash your hair with something else like oxi clean
Am I the only person who never gets greasy hair no matter what? I havent put anything in my hair for like 2 years and my hair has never gotton greasy one time.
how do you sleep with long hair? when i rest my head i feel my hair pulling painfully
I haven't washed my hair in well over a year and have no issues
>Nopoo
>Shampoo
Got it?
Everyone knows. You are the greasy guy with hideous hair
4 months checking in.
My hair only starts to feel greasy if I don't wash it for 2 days.
Might not be the thing for you.
Your scalp is going to produce less grease when it's used to not being shampoo'ed that often. I'd recommend shampooing once a week in the beginning.
So i should wash hair more often but others said that you need to wash only 1 time in week to let your scalp readjust
Its been no problem for me,i have longer than shoulders and it never gets in my way.try tying it if you have long enough hair
Pooping is healthy dude
So its okay to shampoo every once in a while?
You're hair is just too accustomed to shampoo. Try going for 4 days next time, than five and so on. There might be a cut off point. Where I live the water is very hard due to a very high amount of lime, so at some point my hair is fucked and I need to use shampoo. I usually go for once a week though
How often you shower? I stopped using shampoo few months ago, shower every 2 days and my hairs are ok
Very loose ponytail that sits at the crown of the head
>t. Shoulder length thiccc curly hair
So i should shower more often i thought i had to shower least possible to let my hair get used to not using shampoo, will try every 2 days, are you using only water btw?
Damn bro, I take 2 dumps a day when I eat big, how can your survive for three weeks? It's weird that your butt hair is greasy though, maybe you should get that checked out.
Op here,2 dumps a day is begginer level, i take 3 dumps before going to work, eat moar !!!
