Can someone give me a good reason NOT to train twice a week? let's be real here, there is a lot of other things to do in life other than lift weights.

Pretty sure I'm going to move to this program and 5/3/1 the big lifts. Please let me know if I should add something or take something out. I don't care how long I'm at the gym, it will still save time by going 2 instead of 4 days.

2 days a week will be mediocre if you are in your first 6 months of lifting, but you won't make significant gains and will mostly just be stagnant. Why not 3 days per week full body, if you don't like going to the gym?

I love going to the gym, I'm like 5 years in of being consistent 3-5 days a week.

2 days a week with one being intensity and the other being strenght is patrician and anybody saying otherwise is a fucking retard

okay well then here's my two cents: I've been going to the gym only twice a week for years since it's not my main sport.
it's good for maintenance but progress has always been very, very slow, but again, for me, this is very fine.
it can work, especially if you stack a lot of shit into those days, but you have to just try and see if it works for you at the end of the day.
since you already keep a journal of your workouts (right?), just be sure to note any shortcomings as you find them and come back to it in two months.

Mother fucker are you me???? I lift 2-3 days a week and ride my skates for dat cardio.

I split it to a leg day, upper day, and then core/mobility/leg accessories day

I hit similar volume as you, adding weight and keeping reps the same throughout. 6 reps for warm-ups and 5,5,5,3,3,3 for working sets.

Honestly you can go as as many or few days as you like, especially if you aren't in any sports or training for any competitions. Just keep the volume the same. I will add it's harder mentally for me to do fewer but longer sessions than more frequent but shorter sessions. The time gained from this is well worth it though, in my opinion.
