Modelling

Has any of Jow Forums got any experience with modelling?

I'm running out of money and while I am working on a business venture, it will take a while to turn any significant profit. In my opinion I have a good enough body to model something maybe underwear or some kind of shit that appeals to masculine guys (I don't have a typical model face), can anyone point me in the right direction if they have any experience with this?

To keep it fitness related: why are lunges so fucking good?
>don't stress back like Squats
>train so many more stabilisers than squats
>double as cardio

The male model market is completely over-saturated. There's literally thousands of jacked guys trying in every city, and only the naturally beautiful ones get a shot.

You're better off doing gay cam shows and not showing your face, srs. I paid off my student loans that way lol.

How do you have to have a good physique for the cam

Literally just have abs

You don't need it but the fags pay better. It's like being blonde for straight people

not myself but i have to work with models a lot. face is essential dude.

i've been thinking about trying this out, it sounds fun and i could use the money. any tips for getting started? can you make a decent amount doing it part time?

Modelling is about face and low body fat. Even if you are underwear. Also you need to be comfortable in front of a camera, so at the very least practice that.

Depends what you are doing. I can tell you this there is a "skill" to modeling believe it or not. I know I meet photographers sometimes or I meet other models and they might tell be like at first something like oh boy you must be doing awesome you must be making a ton of money. But then they see that for me personally I have a hard time getting warmed up, and getting into a flow. Where as man sometimes I work with girls, and you see girls who just can fake a smile and attitude so easily its almost.. scary in a way...

Anyway point is good luck I guess but do know, modeling to make money off it, one you need a bit of luck, and 2 there is a actual skill set to it as well.

consider also being a live drawing model, your face doesnt matter as much in this

You gon have to suck some dicks brother

Being a model is 99% about face. Anybody who thinks they can gymcel there way to being a model is retarded

ur better off doing g4p. modelling doesn't pay men.

Do gay 4 pay. You never know, you might get to like it. You might become a raging homosexual.

Your pic is the biggest hope crusher on Jow Forums. It's all about the face and charisma lads, nobody fucking cares about your body unless you're fat. Stop lifting for anybody but yourself.

Any tips on where to start?

Do you like sucking cock and taking it up the ass?

most models have decent amount of muscle
you incels always cherry pick the twinks lol

I think Gandy said that being muscular makes modelling gigs harder, the majority of labels still prefer handsome twinks.

I Modeled for your dad last night faggot

>5'5.9
Bro why are you putting your height on the mirror

Nobody wants a model with T. rex legs unless you’re modeling jeans for whales.

i was a figure model for an art class in college
paid 1.5x minimum wage and was 1-2 classes (so 2.5 - 5 hrs) a week
paid for my beer
got me mires from two asians
one a qt petite girl who was too innocent for me
the other a 55 year old asian man who taught at the school and would always wave to me on campus

>The male model market is completely over-saturated
>what is confirmation bias
this is bs. for every million men there's one that is fit enough to be a real model and even then he can lose his job to someone who looks better. modeling field is not as static as your laziness and insecurities imply. just because you're not ready to go an extra mile, don't try to drag other people down to your level.

good body, have a pro take few shots and send it to all agencies you can find. within a week you'll get a gig. believe in yourself.

modelled for 3 years in uni, here's what I learned
>pay's shit unless you are at a high level, most models work another job
>musculature doesn't really matter, the guys who got a lot of jobs were p. much skellies with good frames
>networking is everything, you'll only get jobs if you get in good with the people of the industry, I took a shot at screenacting at the same time and it was the same but even worse
>face is important but not that important, just needs to be clear and defined lines. girls don't like models because they are hot, they find guys hot because they are models.
I know some seriously goofy looking guys and girls who now have overseas careers as models because they hobnobbed and sucked the right dicks (I get the feeling that it might not be hyperbole to say that either)

Hey it’s the high rep aesthetic man
