Anyone here ever used peruvian maca? Some boomer marathon runner memed me into it, claimed to raise your energy, increase hipertrophy potential, test increase and higher libido

What can I wear to cover my face when doing cardio in cold weather? I mostly just want to hide part of my face without looking like a counter strike character cus im a schizo

Get a Buff, you can adjust those a dozen ways to cover only what you want. Use two if it's really cold

Whats a good color for a law abiding citizen? I dont want people to think im strapping on some jack boots to bash the fash or something

I've been taking it for a month and a half.
No negatives.
Low medium dose.
Sometimes feel effects.
Usually don't notice anything much but do feel better all around.
Too many variables though, have worked up to a decent stack.

I have found it in pills, it says to consume 2 pills twice a day, will probably try it out

Should I be consistent with my sets/reps? Like for pull ups I would do like one set of ten then another set of seven and another set with weights to five or seven.

I know doing curls is a meme but I just need to know if doing standing dummbell curls is better than sitting for the same reason why standing ohp is better than sitting?

whats the best supplements for an ectomorph? I’m a 6’9, ~215lb basketball player, I’ve been taking mass gainer but which ones the best? Also which creatine would be the best?

Is there a program that replaces deadlifts with something else? I don't have anyone to teach me how to do them without hurting myself. I squat, bench, and OHP though. I can go to the gym three times a week, though with school I have been going twice.

>ectomorph
falling for the meme in 2018

You can just do these instead, bulgarian deadlift. i know it’s a lady doing it but it was the first one icould find with dumbbells. I used to do them but went back to squats. They work your ass and thighs something fierce. Squat would be better but these are pretty good replacement

'better' is subjective
since curls are isolation exercises, it's probably better to do them seated because there's less chance of cheating through body movement (leaning back excessively, especially)

in my opinion squats are easier to fuck up than deadlifts in terms of form
if you can squat with decent form, why can't you deadlift? how did you learn to squat, bench and ohp with decent form?
watch videos, learn some cues, take a video of yourself and post it somewhere you can get it critiqued

Do I really need to eat breakfast? I usually wake up around 8 not hungry at all. I tend to eat around 11am and 7pm. I've lost about 30lbs this year from eliminating snacks and casual alcohol.

is there any way to get bigger deltoids and shoulder without equipment?

literally the most important meal of the day user, what the fuck

But I'm not hungry in the morning.

it doesnt matter, you have to eat something in the morning

Why?

handstand push ups

Whenever I start working out hard (ie, training for strength, enough weight to do 4-6 reps) I get nauseous. Every time and it feels like I legitimately need to puke. I tried powering through it but it just gets worse and I end up puking. What can I do?

COULD BE AN ELECTROLYTE PROBLEM. MAKE SURE YOU'RE GETTING ENOUGH SODIUM AND POTASSIUM IN YOUR DIET.

NO, YOU DO *NOT* NEED TO EAT BREAKFAST. WHOEVER TELLS YOU YOU NEED TO EAT IT IS A JEWSHILLING SHEKELLORD, MISINFORMED, OR BRAINWASHED. YOU ONLY NEED TO EAT BREAKFAST IF YOU'RE TRAINING LIKE MICHAEL PHELPS, ON ROIDS, OR JUST WANT TO GET FAT.

ive only taken two doses of phenibut, i think about a week ago now, on back to back days
my eyelid starting twtiching a few days after every hour or so, how long does this take to go away, it still hasnt

I don't think breakfast is a jewish con or anything. I'm just rarely hungry in the morning and I'm pretty tired of being yelled at for it.

You should learn to deadlift, the other good alternative are cleans/ power cleans. Barring that rows and pull ups are good back exercises.

Did some shot put in middle highschool, left me a bit asymmetrical (arms+shoulders obvious, traps not shown here, possibly chest and upper back somewhat). Started fitniss a while back, 2 months of gym-appointed memesplits and then half a month of getting my shit together and doing SS.
What's the best way to deal with this? Just ignore it until the difference becomes negligible or should I be doing any isolations for left side only?

Attached: arms.jpg (595x361, 21K)

I'd be more worried about your lack of head.

Please don't bring up my condition, it's already hard on my family

THAT'S BRAINWASHED FUCKHEADS TELLING YOU TO EAT TO BE ONE OF THEM.

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY, NOT SOCIAL PRESSURE.

So basically, despite all of my efforts, I'm really fucking awful at doing lifts for strength, however, I get a wonderful pump anytime I do sets with 8+ reps.
Should I just give up on strength gains and go for those aesthetic/muscular endurance gains?

I guess that's a dumb question, because it's all up to me and my goals, I guess what I meant was, would you guys recommend it?

Depends on how long you've been lifting. If you're a year in strength training, definitely.

good thinking, user. try it for six weeks, see how it goes?

I've been lifting for just about a year yeah. It's not only that it feels shitty, but I plateau almost every week on everything, like my body is saying "lol no don't do this".
The only notable progress I've made was when I pulled a 315lb deadlift with questionable form.
I look like shit, my lifts are shit, and I'm questioning the actual usefulness of heavy lifts when compared to doing things for volume.

After bench am sore on the outside of my pecs but never in the middle.
Does this indicate my grip is too wide?

Attached: 1472273315108.png (366x173, 13K)

Alright, it'll take some transitioning though. The only routine I really know is SS. Do you know of any decent splits or whatever the fuck for mass/endurance building?

I'd say try to switch up your exercises while keeping the low volume high intensity format and see if you make any gainz. If you hit a plateau again, turn to hypertrophy
>what's the usefulness of strength
Bruh
Wait, you've been on SS for a year? Of course you've plateaud, it's for like 6 months tops. There are other routines to switch to in the sticky

Sorry bro :(
Anyway, I'd just continue on a normal routine and not do anything specific. It's barely noticeable and I think it will balance out in time without any special focus.

...

Redpill me on 5/3/1

Attached: 1542536407843.jpg (581x767, 92K)

too low volume unless you add loads of extra shit that the author took 15 books to explain

lel, I meant that as in, I'm not going to be doing anything that would require me to have a 500lb squat. I didn't end up doing SS for a long time because of how shit it ended up going, but even when I was doing SS, I remember plateauing waaaaaay before 2 months, maybe something like a month in I started to fall apart. Part of me is thinking that it has to do with me not having much mass, because I know that mass correlates to the amount of progress you can make in strength gains, and if you have no mass, then there isn't anything there to facilitate the strength you're hoping to achieve. I'm not sure if I'm correct or not though, I'm kind of reciting Alan Thrall's opinion on the subject. Also,
>tfw got skinnyfat on SS and lost my arm gains
Thanks for the advice though

What the fuck is my stomach doing??!! do i have bad posture? Am i going to die?

Cant be preggo, last time i had sex was over a year ago. I didn’t eat 20 pounds of food either

Attached: 1EA5AD7A-C7A3-4A3D-A376-F50834DD3440.jpg (640x1136, 142K)

Is it worth reading the 15 books?

Im gonna be off the gym for like 1 month and a few weeks. When I come back, should I use the same volume? Also, should I do more sets to recover my gains lost?

Work a lot more on your abs

Girls (male) can't get pregnant, bud

anterior pelvic tilt

Im just starting my SS regime. How much weight can I expect to add to my bench each week if I bulk?

>Cant be preggo
>that ass
I'm sorry, user

This

Thank you so much i think this is it. My stomach didnt look like this last month and thats when i started lifting

I’m 25 bud

Honestly what is wrong with my ass, it’s not the greatest but its not completely flat

Bruh, I have a bigger ass than that. Make sure to hit good depth in your squarts and you'll fix it though

startingstrength.com/get-started/programs
read this

Will do, i havent been doing ass to grass cuz i didnt want to fail (no spotter) but fuck it i will now

I like this version of GSLP, but I don't like barbell rows and don't have a chin-up bar. Would it be a reasonable alternative to do 1xAMRAP deadlift on all three days instead of just one?

Attached: 1459407999959.png (700x600, 37K)

HIP DRAAAHVE
Don't have a squat rack in the gym? Try a few times with an empty bar to purposely "fail" a rep and see how you like ditching it better. I prefer to hit max depth and fall backwards a bit, dropping it on the safeties

Mite be a retarded question but when i lift i have to yawn alot and i feel out of breath sometimes. I sleep enough and breathe properly, it feels like it gets in my way when i lift

Literally me but i'm worse. Did you try gomad? Fucked me up lad, i'm just gonna cut and do reverse crunches/extra cardio until it goes away

Although it made my arms juicy, it's not worth having a big lower belly fml

Attached: IMG_20181130_215042.jpg (1006x734, 93K)

Is this healthy?

How much do I have to lift in terms of weight to get a girl like this?

Attached: Joi_apartment.png (640x359, 326K)

Why do you have moss growing inside you, user?
The weight of the world, you have to actually (hear this, crazy I say) TALK to people first.
Or just wait until holo-fus come around

It is broccoli and almonds.

I get it too, probably something about oxygen usage from the exercise. How long have you been lifting
Also, to any experienced lifters, is this a sign my veins will get bigger?

How often do you guys do cardio? I've been working out for like 6 months and my upper body is looking a lot nicer, but until a week ago i completely neglected squats and deadlifts so I'm at ground zero in that department.

Reason i'm asking is because i've noticed i'm getting a little belly, only in my lower ab region similar to the poster a few posts up. Is neglecting squats and dls related to this? Should i cut until it goes away, even though my upper body is still underdeveloped?

Can I start SS as a chubby person? Or should I diet a bit first?

Literally doesn't matter. What does matter is how much effort you put in.

>squating my bench press for reps (185) with a PR of 2p8 but barely able to 1 rep that anymore
>OHP is already 1+p8
>deads are 3+p8

What is happening? My form is fine. Plenty of people have told me my form is fine. But every time I try to increase weight, I can squat it for one session and then I can't so I have to deload for one to two weeks then I have to start the process over. Should I just start squating more? It's fucking pissing me off

Does Carb cycling really work? When I did research into doing keto, I thought (could be wrong) I read that intaking too much protein would end up having your body decide to dissolve protein as its primary source of energy. But looking at sample carb cycling meal plans, I see like 250+g protein, ~60g fat, ~40g carbs for low carb days, thats over half your intake calories being protein. Did i misread something or are there other intricacies I skimmed over when looking at carb cycling?

What is reffered to as 1/2/3/4 here?

I love you, will take your advice

One plate OHP, two plate bench, three plate squat, four plate deadlift.

anyone got a good PPL routine? or some bro splits? where can I find one?

Stupid question but as a beginner my bench is a measly 100, my squat is 1pl8+5lbs on both side. At this point, what should my DL be? 2pl8? I'm afraid of going too high and possibly injuring myself. So far, I've only DL'd 1pl8+10lb on each side.

My bumholes bleeding

Is it worth for me to separate my excercises to Push/pull days, even though i already have a routine hitting all muscle groups several times a week, and always varying the lifts?

Attached: FB_IMG_1543275848797.jpg (720x955, 108K)

If you are just beginning, you shouldn't worry too much about what numbers you should be hitting. Its far more important to break yourself in and practice the proper form for squats and dl's, which will result in less pain and faster gains.

Personally I always had similar numbers for squats and dl's when i started the gym, and after about 2 months, I noticed my dl was improving much faster, to the point where my squat is a whole 45lb plate behind my dl. Just keep working at it and you will be on the path to 1/2/3/4 in no time

Attached: trumpet_rippletits.jpg (600x400, 45K)

So what you're saying is that right now, I shouldn't worry about the 1/2/3/4 ratio and just focus on form?

>get fit
>only fat and ugly women hit on me
What’s the deal with that?

Anyone have some good tips or lifts for getting rid of love handles?

>Already cutting
>Already stacking back workouts to "even out"

Should I just keep cutting and doing abs daily?

Eat less

Just stop eating, fatfuck. Chug on gallons of water or eat one of those south american leafs that stave off hunger. Now obviously, don't overdo the caloric deficit but you will have to sacrifice something.

Down 8 lbs since Saturday, most recent fast
Down 60 since October, started lifting

I'm not worried about starving or hunger. All I chug is water.
>1200cals daily + Cardio since Saturday

If I'm cutting out useless carbs in my diet, can I still eat pic related? Is there anything I can get out of it or are they nutritionally barren?

Attached: 911uC6zM2sL._SL1500_.jpg (1050x1500, 215K)

Eat muesli instead. No added sugar, more protein, basically the same thing

kek

dyel here, last night i was benching and i did 115x3 and felt good so then i did a set of 120x5 and then 125x5, but on the last rep i go this weird tingle that ran up my bicep and today it was sore. should i care?

>6'2
>240 lbs
When do man tits go away?

60 more pounds

With more muscle

what do i do after SS?
some kind of hypertrophy/bodybuilding routine is what im thinking

>Allergic to milk
>Allergic to nuts

What else is good for protein? Getting sick of eggs.

>south american leafs that stave off hunger
What are they called?

Pea protein is good alternative to whey. I think myprotein sells it.

Try quinoa, it's a superfood vegetable, one of the few ones that contain a complete source of protein (all BCAAs present)

Go full black, fuck it, men. Terrorize people with your fit/ness routine.
