All of my friends constantly come up to me saying that “their friend over there wants to fight you”’”hes been staring at you since you got here” “they did they’re gonna smash you if you look at them” i just don’t take any notice and eventually it always ends up as all talk. Yes. I was invited to a metal festival and one guy, 4 years younger than me, already had a beer belly and a bald section on his head, constantly tried to show how dumb I am because I wasn't an engineer like him (I was a student, kind of a late boomer since I dropped out of college twice until I found a subject I really liked, which happened to be engineering despite me actually being a bit of a brainlet) and he also constantly putted me down in front of women.
Since I'm naturally nice and didn't want to disturb peace, I just ignored it for 3 days and then went home. I don't even understand why he was so insecure, yes, I'm better looking than him but he had already his bachelor with and I was just in my first semester with 25, someone like that shouldn't be in the need to behave like that especially since I never dared to act like I'm smarter than anyone.

My last boss was incredibly intimidated by me and felt the need to try to emasculate me for the women we worked with. Always telling me how I was the hairiest dude he'dd ever seen, (I'm not actually all that hairy at all. I have some hair.) How I've got a gross neckbeard. (My facial hair never gets more than a cm long scruff before I shave it all off) and how short guys with broad shoulders look so stupid. (Maybe that's slightly true, but I lift more than he does and he knows it)

It's not hard. You can start at a GS9 pay scale with government work if you have a security clearance and a bachelors/military experience. Border patrol are offering 65k a year starting out with mandatory pay raises every year. Or you can go medical field. Respiratory Therapy is a 2 year, and you can start out making 30/hour which is about 60k year. A 4 year nursing degree is around 70k.
