Sumo is fine with me. I don't do it but at the end of the day a 500lb sumo pull is just not as impressive as a 500lb conventional pull. They are simply just 2 different lifts and really shouldn't be in the same conversation imo.

look you're better suited for sumo, just lift sumo. I tried semi-sumo (so still sumo basically) for a few months because I was being a snowflake, got stuck, started doing conventional and found out that despite it being more uncomfortable I could lift more with it, so I stuck with conventional.
