The absolute state of manlets
I recently got mobility control shoes to help with my ankle pronation (Brooks Addiction 13s) and they have a good 1.5-2 inch heel. I didn't plan on it, but they make me go from king of the manlets (~5'10") to peasant of the lanklets (~6'0").

Manlets are funny. They look ridiculous and they will never look as good as a lanklet but they can still find love if they want it so what's the problem?

I tried wearing them to alleviate my knee issues when running and then people kept asking me if I'd suddenly grown taller. It's probably only a 1 inch difference, but it seems to make a difference for a lot of people, and they look kinda like normal running shoes from the top perspective so people don't notice. I find they're kinda bad for balance so I stopped wearing them, but I ended up gibing my hokas to my manlet friend and he swears by them.
