FINASTERIDE THREAD

FINASTERIDE THREAD
does anyone know how to get it for cheap in Europe. I have a Propecia prescription but I can't afford to spend 50€ on it every fucking month.
Please no bullshitting about it's side effects, or being stupid about shaving my head. That's like saying just become a fatass to someone who can't get gains.

Buy Finasteride which is generic brand propecia. Literally the same thing.
I get 3 months worth for $100 AUD

Before anyone asks, no sides. A bit of watery semen for like a week.

You can't keep running from it.

well I think I can for a few years
that's the point, they don't sell generics where I am. They have 5mg fin for BHP which costs like 5€ for 30 pills, then they have propecia which is 50€ for 28 pills, it's insane. I talked to my doctor about getting the BHP prescription but she declined. Maybe I'll ask the dermatologist I'll be seeing for my psoriasis, but somehow that seems even less likely since what does a dermatologist have to do with prostate issues.

lmao literally messing with your hormones for a 10% chance of delaying your balding

why are hairlets so insecure?

:)

DO NOT TAKE IT, read forums full of guys who have lot of issues after taking it. ED, and even suicide.

>been taking minoxidil for a year
>started finesteride 1mg 5 months ago
>stylist tells me hair on top is thicker than it used to be
>crown/temples are looking better
>actually get compliments
>self-confidence +1
>no side effects I've noticed

Nah, that's just what normally happens when you can't deal with becoming a baldie.

Yeah there is a 5% chance it will ruin your life

So see how you look with a very short buzz cut. If good, and you’re getting attention from women, you’re fine.

If not, start considering finasteride or hair transplants.

Don't pull percentages out of your ass.

DONT GET A PROPECIA PERSCRIPTION FAGGOT. Propecia is a prostate cancer medication It decrease androgen levels. You might slow hair loss but you will never get another erection and your gains will plummet. Get a Bimatoprost (Lumigan) prescription and rub that shit on your head instead. Minoxidil is good too but it stimulates hair growth everywhere not just on your head.

listen OP. jus must accept your faith under all circumstances. shave it bro, but take the NECKPILL asap.

the NECK will balance the hairloss.

anons post pics that prove it pls

> It decrease androgen levels

no, it does not.

It blocks the transformation of testosterone into alpha dihydrotestosterone.
So your testosterone levels will actually slightly increase.

If you have different information please explain but in a manner that shows you know what you are talking about like using proper terms thanks.

get proscar 5 mg and deride it into 4 parts. take one each day except for Sunday.

It is exactly the same ingredient (Finasteride) like in Propecia just in 5mg form instead of 1 mg. And it costs 100 Euros for a supply of one year.

Your doctor should have told you this it is widely prescribed like this for hair loss although it is not officialy classified as hair treatment.

thanks for the fun post, but I'm not really overly concerned with my hairloss and I've accepted my faith, but since there's this seemingly easy way to keep my hair, why wouldn't I go for it? I just need to somehow get a supply of generic 5mg finasteride.

That's exactly my plan, but read ->

go to a different doctor then. Prescription is all you need. Then there are ways to get it if it is not locally sold.

You could also buy it in another eu country if you get it for a year it can be worth it

What about topical minoxidil though

Will try with my dermatologist.
I honestly can't be bothered to apply it twice a day, and it makes my hair greasy.

billions before us have delt with hair loss, just deal with it

Attached: wop.png (550x340, 253K)

Just go for it.

Been on fin for a year now.

Hair grew back and the shedding stopped.

Making sick gains at the gym.

Zero erection problems.

Can fuck for hours.

Only problem is cum became so watery.

I kinda miss the creamy stuff.

starting taking dht blockers at 21
>fin
1.5 years on, killed my dick, crazy anxiety
>dut
1 year on, libido higher than pre fin
no idea why the difference, but i'll take it. both saved my hair.

Don't have trust to these products, It's all lies. Get surgery instead.

Jesus just let it go.

Hair isn't the end all be all. It never was.

Wasting your money on things like propecia, or mixodil is just that, a waste. You maybe, hold on to your hair for a few more years, but you're tied to constantly taking it. The risk of fucking with your hormones is insane, even if it was 0.1% it wouldn't be worth the risk.

You don't have to shave it all off. All you have to do is cut it very short. Don't waste your time, and don't risk your health.

is this picture accurate, does it work this well? shit, is it worth the broken penis though?

body may compensate low dht by increasing test. your test levels are more likely to increase than decrease if you use dht blockers.

>dut
whats that?

Not entirely true. Serum test increases, free test decreases, estrogen increases, SHBG increases slightly.

Beta sitosterol
>DHT blocker
>Available cheap on amazon

What's the catch?

I feel you. I am losing my hair too and with it, my whole confidence. I have an odd looking face, not really that ugly, but girls usually get attracted to me because of my hair and the way it makes my face look better.

I have been taking Minox for 3 years and it helped a lot, yet lately, more and more hair falls out. I still got some to go, yet it will disappear in the next few years. I know where you are standing!

Here is my advice: Dont take Finasteride. I am a soon MD and I got to know a professor from Florida during my clinical elective (I am from Germany) who specialized in the treatment of baldness. He is propably one the most knowledgeable guys in the world when it comes to Finasteride and he told us that it propably has many more side effects which are yet to be discovered. He is doing a huge study at the moment, looking at long term use, and the data he has already gathered looks grim. IT seems like, even if you are not one of the unlucky ones who suffers from immediate irreversible erectile disfunction, almost everyone developes some kind of plaque in the arteries of your penis. Further, it seems to have all kind of different side effects in later years, which yet need to be proven whe the paper comes out.

I know its difficult, but dont risk your life - there might be a lot of suffering connected with going bald, but there might be an even bigger hell when taking Finasteride. There are many other ways to keep hair - The hairpiece industry seems to become really big at the moment. I know a guy who has a hairpiece which is constantly glued on his head for 2 months. It looks super real, even better than his old hair, girls love it - and it doesnt fuck with his health.

you're from a country where the age of consent is 14 and prositution is legal so going bald for you isnt a big deal because you can just pay a woman for sex without risk of being imprisoned for it. Not everyone is facing the same struggle. bald men in other countries are forced to become incels.

I will never go bald. I will always find a way to keep my hair. And If I have to pay for transplant or get a hair piece - i will do that.
You can do that too.

Thailand?

He is from Germany, says it right in his post

I read fast and not paying attention. Sorry

dutasteride. more potent form

Lol euro healthcare

Yeah im from Uk and when I took it I ordered Finpecia online from inhouse pharmacy for like £0.40 per tablet so cost me literally £12 a month. I also tried dutasteride from the same website in the gel capsules.

Neither stopped my hairline from going back and the first time I took fin was at age 17 (I know, stupid). The sides I got at the beginning was just watery semen but about a year in I began to feel spaced out and my libido dropped. Also had no positive feelings when I would cum.

I stopped taking both when I started weightlifting. I didn't stop because of the sides but because I became more concerned with muscles than hair and just eventually did a buzz cut.

To anybody who is receding, I say focus on the things you can control such as building a great body rather than focusing on things you can't such as hair thinning.

If you're still bothered I would advise you to go down the route of hair pieces which look great and can be just as cheap as fin if you do it yourself (i remember northwest lace had a decent and supportive forum for those interested).

Either way, you need to consider what fin and dut actually do to your body. They don't just block test->dht. Infact, they block multiple types of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase. This enzyme does more than just convert test to dht. We already know that it has important functions in brain neurone development and as will tell you, probably many more functions that we don't yet know about. That is in addition to the effects of a lack of DHT. Yes, you could cite the small community which have a lack of 1 type of DHT and say they're fine but these drugs block multiple types.

Goodluck bro.

billions before us have also dealt with plagues and diseases, that's not an argument for not attempting to change things you stupid faggot

>immediate irreversible erectile disfunction,
this does not happen, dont tell me you fell for anecdotes on forums

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5346286/

Look into peppermint oil and castor oil.

Just shave bro. Guys with shaved heads look fine.

I know it's a meme about the Japanese curing it but, things to consider: 20 years ago hair-transplants looked retarded - now they look more natural (still not perfect).

In the last decade we've also seen PRP injections become more effective in thickening hair and significantly slowing balding.

Lots of research is continually being done and new methods keep coming out.

While it's been slow-going, I don't think it's ridiculous to say that male pattern baldness could one day be essentially cured. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but maybe one day soon. We just have to have faith.

>goodbye test, the thread
enjoy your non working dicks

>Men without prostate disease who combined NSAID use with >208.5 days of 5α-RI exposure had 4.8-fold higher risk of PED than men with shorter exposure (NNH 59.8, all p < 0.002).
Interesting. Basically don't take NSAID's if you're on fin.

been on fin for almost 2 years now ama

Ignore the guys trying to fuck you over by telling you not to get fin. If you can't get a prescription, consider travelling to a different EU country where it's possible. In UK generic fina is available on a ton of online pharmacies.

Plaques in your cock? Back it up or fuck off, shitposter. Stop trying to ruin his life with baseless claims.

jsm.jsexmed.org/article/S1743-6095(17)31817-9/abstract

Regardless bimatoprost wont fuck with your androgens while growing hair

This merely hypothesises and cannot prove any sort of plaque formation is responsible for ED. Far from it, this does not support the claim that "almost everyone" gets plaques within their cock arteries as it only examines those suffering from ED, who themselves are only a tiny majority of finastride users.

still balding? did hairline come back at all? how is your penis? watery cum and soft erections? are you guy or straight? can you travel with it / take it on airplanes? do you do anything else for your hair or is it enough on its own?

Minority.

I cant give you the evidence because this is what the professor was talking about in his lecture, not an actual paper. Its part of the study he is currently conducting. He is, on the other side, a well known expert on this topic - so I believe in his intellectual and sctientific integrity. There is always the possiblity that he is wrong of course, but in my opinion its not worth the game.

Depending on the paper you look, your chance of getting erectile disfuntion is around 0,5% in some and 10% in other studys. You can look that up easily. Add that up with all the side effects which may await you past the 5 or 10 year level, its just too big of a gamble. We just dont have the data for this yet. 5- alpha reductase plays a role in many organs, including the brain. It might well be that this will fuck you up in the later period in your life. You might say now: Well, I dont care- at least I have hair now. But thats kinda stupid - there are many other ways nowadays to get some hair on your head - without the potential of huge suffering in your 50's +.

>come on a fitness forum
>ask advice about a drug which reduces a potent form of testosterone
>expect us to encourage you to buy it

fuck off faggot.

where else are we supposed to get them

My hair loss was entirely at the crown, I had no hairline recession, only my crown was thinning. About a few months into fin I stopped losing hair in the shower, and some of it has regrown on my crown, the most important part is the fact that I don't lose a shitton of hair in the shower anymore. Penis is fine, still jack off once a day. Sometimes had watery cum but it's normal now. Straight. Not sure about the airplane stuff. I only use finasteride, I bought minoxidil but am scared to use it because apparently it bloats your face and makes your hair dependent on it.

Not the same guy, buy also been on fin for 2 years. Have had a hair transplant and haven't lost any more hair since (even regrew some thickness).

Watery cum is temporary, it goes away and your cum goes back to normal.

Erections are even harder than 2 years ago because of better diet and working out.

Have taken it with me on an airplane without a prescriptions, no problem. They don't usually care about you taking with you some medicine overseas, as long as it's user amounts and nothing crazy.

anyone who thinks that fucking with a major hormone won't produce side-effects is a copelet who is currently on finasteride and praying for their own mental sanity

but it really sucks because there is no winning with hairloss, either you shave and cope, or you take tranny drugs and cope

too old

It's not like you get to use your penis if you go bald anyway, so you may as well take an extremely low risk and keep your hair.

based and red pilled.

Attached: 1543379724012.jpg (1031x965, 181K)

when are you both completing your transformations?

This may suprise you but balding and bald men still have sexual intercourse

poor retort

how absolutely elderly are the women they're banging? if its old ladies im not interested. pussy expires early.

not him but my brother has thinning hair and he has an 8/10 qt gf. he is 5ft7 and has never been to a gym. stop coping.

It's too late to remain as you are OP, but just in time to transform into something better

Attached: 1544205338456.png (1591x1642, 64K)

Why exactly do you car so much about your hair anyway? I never understood why people freak out about a natural process. Are you going to have an existential cricis when you start to get wrinkles? Are you going to faint when your boners start to get softer? (Fucking with all of this hair regrowth shit will make this happen a lot sooner than later, ironically) I just don't get it. Nobody gives a shit about hair. You're not going to be young forever.
t. balding guy who just doesn't give a shit.

I know the guy on the right. He is as bald as you can get and also not the tallest. Former WoW-pro-player, quite successful, bangs a lot of cuties.

Attached: 970668_10200516739138796_44576422_n.jpg (720x960, 113K)

while you might also be correct, dht is literally a modified testosterone molecule. Lower the conversion rate and your test just piles up

how much has your dick shrank during those 2 years?

still 17cm

>Bimatoprost
does that actually work?? I was rubbing setipiprant into my scalp and getting good results.

DHT is a more potent androgen than T. Your overall effective androgen levels drop if you block 5-αR.

Yes it works but it also give you beautiful lashes

this
playing fucking pinball with your hormones just because you might get less bald is so fucking irresponsible
you evolved to have DHT for one or several reasons, fucking with that across your entire system is just asking for trouble

yeah, 20 years ago we didn't even have the human genome
biotech is exploding, it's like the digital revolution right now

it's possible there is no possible hair growth drug that ever can be made that has acceptable side effects, but upcoming technologies will allow you to do the same function that your regular tissue does, because we can now go down to the cell level
it's like shaking a frying pan with meatballs and trying to get them to arrange themselves in a perfect grid pattern, it's not happening until you put your hand in there and do it manually

Is it really that hard to imagine that some people would rather be dead than bald? Balding can completely destroy your value in the sexual marketplace unless you look good bald (most don't).

Spoken like someone who doesn’t get pussy.
I’m balding hard, banging a legit 8.5/10 19 year old.

what a sad life that your only way to get a woman is your hair

I'm sorry for not being so extremely attractive I can easily get girls while bald, sorry.

yep, this is what I came for

Attached: 1543033879752.jpg (835x360, 51K)

So do like he said and buy a wig? I doubt the effect is as pronounced as you're trying to make it anyways for like 99% of the population, people are just insecure and afraid of change. And it's a bit pathetic to risk destroying your body just so you don't risk getting laid less.

please do add your own, I want to compile the eight paths of balding

I would rather take medication with an extremely low risk like finasteride (studies prove this).

why are zoomers so concerned with hair loss?

Attached: 1540481910541.jpg (1024x1024, 97K)

how does it work?
I would be down to try any topical that doesn't work on the 5-αR system. I respond really well to crth2 blockers. I'd rather take something that's a certified drug though, 'cause I was worried about toxicity with setipiprant/fevipiprant, and they haven't gone through full clinical trials yet/

hair loss is affecting zoomers at an earlier age than boomers for some reason.

probably shitty health from too much indoor electronic-focused activity in their youths

probably too much anime and pornography

Attached: 1544322866901.jpg (690x588, 79K)

it's interesting but we should be looking into why this is happening more instead of focusing on treating it.

Are we deficient in something? The only trend I can identify is decreasing testosterone levels but again, why?

>but again, why?
we may never know...

Attached: WHO IS THAT.jpg (600x342, 27K)

pretty sure we get less vit D and sun
sleeping patterns are worse too

Pdg2 inhibitor. Basically an anti inflammatory

Activates a receptor dont remember the name that stimulates the dermal papilla stem cells when applied topically. I'll try to find the study.

This, I think you should make a shaved or even receding look work to your advantage as much as possible first before interfering chemically/surgically.

try LLLT if you want to, seems like a wonder therapy (in general, it's decent for hair loss but the number of useage fields is stunning)
