How do you guys get through heartbreak? I'm shattered right now, I can do my workouts, but end up having to take breaks to break down for a minute every so often. It's fresh and hurts so bad, should I waste away, or is there some trick that I can use?

real advice:

1. block her on all social media and delete all pictures, videos or memories of her from your phone. Get rid of or donate anything she gave you or anything that reminds you of her. You don’t want to torture yourself by remembering shit and prolonging the grieving process.

Lift until it hurts more than your heart.

the number correlates to the amount of plates on 1 side of the bar. the order of the numbers determines the lift: OHP/Bench/Squat/DL. 1/2/3/4 is considered (on here) to be a strength milestone or a standard. it means you can OHP 135lbs (1 pl8 each side), Bench 225 (2 pl8), Squat 315 (3), and DL 405 (4). it’s an ok indicator for determining how strong someone is but ultimately your lifts should reflect your height/weight. someone that’s very big or very strong may have 1.5/3/4.5/5.5 for example.

There's no foolproof way to do this without spending the effort to get to know someone. Be honest, with yourself and with other people. When you find someone that you don't feel a need to lie to about anything and that you feel amazing being around, you've found the one. If the next person you find doesn't make you feel that, they're not the one. That's it.

Guys. Are using gloves really that bad? Rows and deadlifts are ruining my hands. Skin is always peeling on my knuckles and I can’t grip the bar for 3+ plate deadlifts.

I had a really bad session today, it wasnt it at all. I thought Id try something new and it just didnt work. I fixed up a better routine now though. Should I do this new routine today, and end up working out twice in one day, or should I wait until tomorrow? I was scheduled to next workout on Wednesday but theres no way this bad routine was enough for the first part of this week.

I've had thick, yellow or green mucus flowing down my throat for almost 6 months. My nose is clear, I'm not sick at all. This mucus just flows constantly. I'm spitting up globs multiple times per day. It's flowing into my lungs and making me cough, too.
Went to ENT and they put a camera up my nose and found nothing. Stopped drinking milk, didn't help. Took mucinex, it helps temporarily. Drinking a ton of water doesn't help. Tried nasal spray and irrigation. I'm at my wit's end. My throat is always sore now from clearing it so much. Please advise.

Just start really low on deadlifts if you're concerned about them. You could start out with the bar and two 5 kg bumpers for a total of 30 kg. Just get the form in correctly, and increase with 5 kg each workout.
Instead of barbell rows, you might try out t-bar rows? Or even cable rows. I find them a bit easier to do than regular barbell rows.

Palpitations are usually caused by anxiety. Everyone has an odd heart beat once in a while. Only difference is that you notice it.

Titan ones gives a lot of value for your money. If it's worth making a home gym depends on a lot of stuff, is the gym expensive, is it crowded, do you have to travel a lot, do you have the space to make a home gym etc. I'd recommend getting a power cage, an olympic barbell (make sure you get a standard one, 220 cm, 28 mm diameter grip, 20 kg, can handle 600 kg), a flat bench, and olympic weights (don't need to be bumpers if you're not doing olympic lifts). You can probably buy some second hand.

How do I fix my gut?
I almost always have some stomach pain like I need to take a shit. After taking a shit I still have a similar feeling. It gets worse when I'm sitting. Finals are starting soon and in my last midterm I almost shit myself. I'm pretty sure part of it is due to some subconscious stress I have but I don't know how to deal with it. I've tried changing my diet in many ways but it does not seem to help that much.

I'm a gal that has lost about 15 pounds in this last year, and I really didn't need to lose that weight. It just happened. Used to weigh 107 lb, now I weigh 92.
I'm lifting but I'm also doing cardio because the doc advised it for my heart. My question is: Will I vanish if I keep doing cardiovascular exercise?
I'm okay with the way my body looks right now but I don't want to lose the remaints of my butt and stuff.

Some DYEL PT told me only to use belts for PRs and not for regular heavy compund lifts.
How legit was has advice?

How do I increase my grip strength?
I started getting back into deadlifts about a month ago and I literally can't lift past 2 plates without the bar slipping from my hands. My deadlifts are lagging behind my other lifts so bad that I'm beginning to squat more than I deadlift.

You're not supposed to overtrain. That is, you should be training 45-60 minutes. But what counts? It takes me a 15-20 minutes bike ride to and from the gym, is it included? Is ab workout or the mandatory 8 hour facepull session included? If I do shit like pilates beforehand or yoga/incline mill afterwards, do I need to count that? Do I count the 2+ minute rests?

If you want to get strong, do SL or SS. You can always make bigger jumps if it starts way too easy.

Why not just do the program as written? Body needs recovery time. If you want another workout add a volume hypertrophy day.
