This is one of the strangest posts I've ever written and I do so feeling both confused and upset.
A few months ago I was using my boyfriend's laptop. I don't have my own and the first time I needed to use it I asked if it was ok to create my own log in on there. He said it was fine, but if I wanted I can just use his password and log into his so I can use his Netflix etc on there whenever I want to watch it in bed. He gave me his password and I used it as my own and never had any issues.
One day when he was at work I saved something to Google Drive and searched around for a bit to find what I'd saved (It's a chromebook so a bit alien to me). Out of curiosity I clicked on the bin in Google drive and found a ton of his sex tapes with a few of his exes. It really freaked me and I felt sick. I cried, I text him asking why he still had them, I cried some more, felt absolutely horrible and then cried again.
We did sit down and talk about it and he did apologise, but said something along the lines of 'I genuinely didn't realise there was a recycle bin. I deleted them as soon as we started talking in a couple kinda way but didn't know they could still be retrieved.'
I still felt insecure about it. I still felt unsure and i said to him 'imagine how it would make you feel if you saw a sex tape of me with an ex.' He is generally matter of fact and sometimes he has expressed that he feels he might be 'on the spectrum.' He really struggles in groups, struggles with noise and while he is actually very funny around me and his family, he seems to go into his shell around new people. He also often doesn't really 'get' what I or others are upset about. When I asked how it would make him feel, he said he probably wouldn't feel anything because he obviously knew I'd have had sex with my ex and seeing it wouldn't change anything.
Anyway, to the point. I was using his phone the other day and I found Gifs. My last two boyfriends were black (He is white, like me) and he has essentially screenshot pictures from interracial porn, put my face over the woman's face, and turned the screenshots into Gifs. So it crudely looks like I'm having sex with some random black man when played.
I confronted him immediately and he didn't deny it or try to twist it, he just said he'd taken on board what i'd said and wanted to know how it would feel if he had been in my shoes. And that was the best way he could think to do it.
I'm honestly torn. It sounds batshit crazy, but knowing how black and white he sees things I kind of buy the reasoning. I don't know what to feel because I don't think that's a normal thing, but I also don't think It was malicious. But I simply don't know where I go from here.
Tl;dr my boyfriend has been creating gifs to recreate me having sex with my black ex boyfriend's and is saying it was to understand how I felt about seeing sex tapes of him and his exes. it
