Fasting does not cause you to lose muscle mass. Eating at a deficit does, because your body does not access its fat stores.

It "works" if you make sure to still follow CICO. Ive heard it is nice because once you get used to it you will only feel hungry for that time window of eating, and if you eat right before bed you wont really feel sluggish as much

Isn't eating right before bed meant to be bad for you? I never eat after dinner, unless i'm drinking.
I eat OMAD five days a week, fast completely on sundays and eat normally on mondays. Since I eat at a 500 cal surplus, I can bulk without getting fat.
If I want to cut bodyfat aggressively, I'll just eat every other day on lifting days.
Can you please post body for someone too ascared to fast?
