Costco sells black bean pasta. Walmart sells chickpea, and red lentil pasta. All of these variations are very high protein.

Good luck with oats or buckwheat.

>buckwheat
can I cook buckwheat just like pasta?
Im not from burgerland, idk if those things exist in white people country

More meat

Alright, well what about spaghetti squash? It's a little further removed from the pastas I mentioned earlier, but it's extremely low calorie, and easy to make.

If you workout and aren’t already fat as fuck then don’t worry about having carbs in your diet. I stay lean year round and half the meals my wife makes are pasta dishes

>having a wife
Ngmi

>spaghetti squash
Im 6'0 180lbs I NEED TO GROW COMEON

I switched to eating barley a few years ago and haven't looked back. I started after I heard somebody describe Roman gladiators as 'Barley Men', as their diets consisted of lots of barley. Also the term burly supposedly comes from the notion of the 'barley men'. I'm not sure how true that is, but the point is that I enjoy eating barley more than rice and/or potatoes. Also, pearl barley is better than pot barley.

How do you cook it?

Brotatoes are the perfect carb source and are way more micronutrient rich than pasta or white rice. You can even opt for sweet brotatoes which are even better cause of dat dere low GI carbs and beta carotene for skin gains

chickpea pasta is god tier, just kinda pricey

there's nothing whiter than costco, honestly.

>alternative for a muscleman diet
Whats wrong with what you mentioned?
>white people country
I'd say these are more likely to exist in white people country than elsewhere

You can also cook them a multiple way

why do you want to replace rice? it's pure glycogen with no downsides

>I switched to eating barley a few years ago and haven't looked back.
permacutting is not good for you bro, that's just anorexia

taste like shit, always find rice everywhere at my place, and Im a diet nazi, I can eat the same shit year round, but im done with rice, been two years

Sweet potatoes, squash, cauliflower, legumes, beans.
Check out ancient grains.

plant protein is shit protein with a low amount of leucine. You shouldnt even count it towards your daily protein intake. I only count the amount of animal protein i intake. Its fine to eat it for healthy carbs and fats, but not for the protein.

quinoa or amaranth
lentils
sweet potatoes

parboiled white rice is low GI, has b-vitamins, no antinutrients and is tasty desu

beans

Am i missing gains by counting the protein i get from pasta, rice, oats and so on on my daily quota? Do you have any links to more info on this
