- being a little chubby has become trendy, partly because big asses are in and partly because of the fat acceptance "curvy" (read: fat) fad. In consequence chubby girls are completely normal
- you get the feeling that girls have much bigger asses now because you see so many of them on social media and places like le 4channel. Before your desired model was skinny, now it's a big assed girl.
- kinda tied to my last point, a lot of those big butt chicks on social media are *enhanced*, meaning that they have had surgery of some sort
- probably plays a minor role, but girls who do work out are really glute focused nowadays, bringing more ass growth
