Why haven't you taken the climber pill?

Because, if you want to become lean muscular like most of Jow Forums does, then you should partake in the activity that has that as it's primary goal (lifting) instead of another sport that has it's goal as something completely unrelated and any potential aesthetics as a side effect

This.
Why would I go hiking if i want to be a better sprinter?

Because not all of us want to look like 90's era heroin-chic Iggy Pop.

I gave it a try but I'm terrified of heights. I do train with a hangboard though

You have to get lean af for bodyweight related sports. I wanna get into calistentics eventually, but i first want to get to 200lbs . I am 185 now, and was 160 last year . Hope is to get to the weight within next year , and do a recomposition phase to loose some fat

There are no rocks where I live

I've been doing calisthenics for as few years now, it's a lot of fun. You won't regret it

mmm... maybe I should start climbing

Climbing is for twinks

t. lardass

how does a rock climber have a developed chest? i'm calling shenanigans

this and
this

Midwest plainsmen represent.

because he also does weight training...

Climbing does hit your chest suprisingly well with all the compression moves. I was on a 4 year break from lifting and only did some climbing and my bench stayed almost the same despite losing 45 lbs from BW. Also most climbers include at least some antagonistic work in their program to protect from injuries.

I want to since I live near Yosemite but still to fat

would love to, but I live in a heavily urbanized area and the commute to the closest climbing gym is like 1hr+

>urbanized
oof lots of darkies, huh?

upper class neighbourhood (the gym is in a semi-shitty area, though). just very far from big rocks and stuff

>brutal autism
>makes distance runners look like chad
>why haven't you taken this pill???

He looked better on the left.

I climb your mom

I don't climb but ball grip pull ups are pretty damn great for grip strength and overall arm health from the shoulder all the way down to the fingers.

Hey thats my pic i didnt give you permission to use that. Take it down.

Jow Forums is too insecure and lazy to do anything else than lifting. Sports like climbing, surfing and mountain biking are for chads and normies, not for fitizens.

I could say that my life got a lot better since i started bouldering. Dropped 20lbs (now 9% bf, lean face and ripped look, girls go crazy, but i did it to improve my climbing really). Due to lower bodyweight i don't sweat anymore (used to be constantly hot if i moved a bit). Also climbing forces you to increase not just strength, but problem solving, technique, balance and coordination.

Megos is an absolute beast.

Because I'd have to pay as much for a session as I do for a month of gym membership
It does sound fun tho

How do I practice it if there's no climbing places near me? If I climbed trees in the woods (where no one can see my improvisational autism) would that be okay? Or maybe small rock faces found in woods instead?

Get a hang board and go to a climbing gym. Most cities will have one so unless you’re rural af just google it and shouldn’t be more than a 30 min drive.

Like I said there's no climbing places near me. (Closest is 1 hr.) I'll look into a climbing board though thanks

Yeah boy... Get on that rock
