I have always been skeletor level skinny. I figured it is better to put on weight and shred it later around march or later.

3ish years lifting, starting weight was 110lbs
My routine is a mix of Jeff Seid routines and I make adjustments to hit the muscle groups where I'm lacking.
I used to do 3x10 for everything but 4x12-15 gives me much more growth
It is weak but I am working on it. Was traveling for 3 months and lost a lot of my gains.
I need to throw in some more deadlifts but my gym is on 2nd story and has a strict no slamming weights policy. I'm moving in a few weeks though for a new job

I've been on a lean bulk since about August when i started the gym, was just coming off a cut from 300lbs down to 190.
Now at 197 and starting to notice some small changes.
Can't stand still being this flabby so cutting calories down to a slow cut to get a head start and try and recomp through the start of next year.
Shits hard.

what is the proper amount per month? I was just planning on bulking up to 175lbs and then doing a slow cut to try to maintain all muscle mass gained
Was 84kg in june, went down to 68 and now im up to 74,aiming for 75-80 lean. Gonna start cutting in feb/march

at most I would gain 4-5lbs in one month, and even then half of that would be fat depending on how much noob gains you have left.
take this from someone who dirty bulked and has been regretting it for 4 months.
if you have the willpower, you could just fast for a week and lose all the fat that you gained during the bulk. muscle loss is mostly a myth, especially if you keep training.

Only added 8lbs so far, trying to get from 155 to 170 before a cut in the spring

still deep in skeleton territory. only added about like 7lbs in the past month went from 155ish to 162ish at 6'2, despite doing 1/2 gomad with chocolate milk (more cals). it sucks because i can't really eat at work, so i have to cram all my calories in after 4PM, and sometimes i just stay up till midnight force feeding myself just to hit my calories and proteins. i need to start waking up early and getting some oats in or something.

First bulk after losing 35 pounds and a broken leg. Got a solid little build up and did some shitty oly lifts on occasion, but I'm doing a solid 10lbs over the winter and my last final was today. My gym getting bumper plates, the college kids being gone, and the fact that it's a small 24 hour gym is pumping me up. Shits like Christmas.
