It's no real secret, the biggest and easiest thing to do is take into account your calories in and calories out. So you'll have to count your calories no matter what.
The specific diet will vary based on what you'll find provides you with the greatest satiation -- for me it's a diet predominantly focussed on meats and greens but I like fruit so I don't restrict myself from that.
Up your physical activity to 20-30min a day if your goal is just weightloss maybe something trackable like swimming or running.
Once you get down to a desired weight then you hit the weights because lean muscle mass will help your metabolism in the long run

You are at a normal weight, why are you trying to lose it? Weak girls are pathetic, get muscle tone if you want a better figure but don't lose a pound.

Don't water fast, are you trying to weigh in for a boxing match? It's vital fluid for your equally vital organs, such as your brain.

Sure, doing exercises like squats will make you look better; but it won't make you lose weight. I literally told you "low carb diet". If you don't know what a carb is, then it's time for you to do research. But here are some popular carbs: potatoes, rice, bread, & cereal. You want to eat as little of those as possible, regardless of whether it's brown rice, or whole wheat, it doesn't matter, it's still a carb. Avoid it.

Fasting requires discipline and knowledge. Do you know what electrolytes to maintain so you don't have cardiac arrhythmia? What will you do if/when the weight comes off?
