Is this healthy

330>299 pounds in 65 days. 35 minutes to an hour of cardio each day. I eat 1800 calories a day. Some days when im really hungry it's closer to 2000 calories

some weeks I lost 1-2 pounds. the last two weeks i've lost 3-4 pounds because i decided to start walking farther and longer.

is this rate of weight loss too fast? i know it will eventually slow down but i didn't expect it to come off this easily. who knew exercising and eating right would actually work

Right now you’re horribly obese. The amount of calories you’d need to eat to sustain your weight is ridiculously high, so eating at a regular volume and exercising will have exaggerated effects. You will stop losing weight at the same rate because the less you weigh the less calories you need to consume to maintain that weight and you won’t be able to eat at the same 2k+ kcal deficit you’re probably eating at right now. So yes, it’s healthy, but you’ll get diminishing returns the more weight you lose. Good job op keep it up.

thanks for the reply. I suspect the next 20 pounds is going to take another 65 days.

good job user, i'm proud of you. you fat sack of shit

Completely healthy bro. Good job you’re gonna make it.

Are you me?
I'm doing an hour of cardio and moderate lifting every day. Sometimes I take a four mile walk.
I'm also eating 1800 - 2000 kcal a day.

Dropped from 320 to 240 in 6 months.
First just by dropping the soda and kind of cutting the carbs. I'm really counting calories and do excercise since two months.

Stay on it, at first you'll see only a change on the scale. You'll be really motivated once your tits are starting to melt.

Attached: 1515098472408.gif (255x142, 1.84M)

dude that's great. I want to start lifting but I have no idea how. I guess just sign up at the gym and let a trainer show me?

I wish I knew from the beginning it was as simple as counting calories. People go on and on about carbs, sugars, trans fat all that shit.

Cutting soda thankfully wasn't a problem for me. I was always a milk guy, never drank soda unless I was at a restaurant.

Try to avoid liquid calories.

I train at home. Cardiobike and a 30 lb barbell. Just ordered a 100 lb starting set.

I stick with water, seltzer water and the occasional gatorade

You're doing well, bruh, keep it up

Keep on keepin on OP. I believe in you. You’re working hard and you’re going to make it.

Do you have a cheat day? Are you doing any fasting? The weekly calorie average is another good metric people forget.

Gym PTs are pretty useless. Honestly just educate yourself. YouTube is a great place to start. Look up Alan Thrall, AthleanX, and Buff Dudes for some informative videos on form and technique. The sticky has some genuinely good info on newbie programs. Give it a read as well. You’re gonna make it.

Be careful, if you lose fat too fast you could end up with loose skin

Fuck that cardio bullshit. Fast for 3 days and eat a low carb 500 calorie meal. Repeat until not fat. You'll lose 30lbs a month easy.

I mean at one point in my life I was 370. I think is inevitable at this point.

>is this rate of weight loss too fast?
No, this is a shitty meme, unless you are losing fucking 8 pounds a day somehow you aren't losing weight too fast. Studies have shown that you actually lose less lean weight the faster you lose fat. AKA losing weight faster is actually more healthy as long as you track your blood sugar, eat protein and get the right servings of shit. It's only an issue if you aren't getting any of the nutrients your body needs while losing weight.

Inb4 he follows your shitty advise and ends up like pic related

what the fuck am i suppose to do

>only dehydration is too much weight loss.
better off fasting completely in cycles and eating a normal maintenance volume (relative to lean mass) of slow carb (or go full keto) on feed days
cardio is less beneficial than lifting. beyond lifting, on off days do intensity cycled aerobic work in a pool, on a rowing machine, or.. ugh.. on an elliptical. You're heavy enough to impact the longevity of your knees if you were jog - i'd recommend against it.

if your dietary composition isn't fixed; if you're still experiencing insulin spikes over the course of they day from refined carbs ubiquitous in the StandardAmericanDiet (now common in the west); you'll likely end your diet hungry all the time with a slower resting metabolic rate.

Don't fall for the fasting meme. Your system works without you craving too much food. Don't change now. If you want to speed up, just add more exercise.

>just add more exercise
exercise is the least important factor by far in losing weight. this meme has gone on too many decades now. it needs to stop.

i sit at my computer like 10 hours a day and never exercise or even go outside almost ever. and i'm not fat. here is what i attribute it to:
>i only drink water
>ketogenic diet
>never eat sugar or carbs
>intermittent fasting
no exercise was ever needed. i started to get fat for the first time in my life and nipped it in the bud with this.

Works for me with 1800 kcal daily intake.
And I know it's about 80 % diet. (t. my ass)

It will not hurt to do excercise, especially if you are whalesize. At this stage one can loose fat while building at least a bit of muscle mass.

i lost 110lbs in 11 months so sure whatever.

post body

>just add more exercise
ignorant alert
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3406229/

tl:dr findings.
exercise only group loses some weight
diet only group loses more weight
diet+exercise loses most weight, but only about 10% more than diet only group

finding: over 12 month period diet is 90% responsible for weight-loss (exercise 10%)

some caveats;
The protocol was 45 min aerobic 5 days per week. I didn't investigate the intensity. Resistance training was not mentioned.
Weight training will better improve muscle mass and greater muscle mass & tone will increase resting-metabolic-rate and nutrient partitioning (more calories going to lean mass preservation) than fat storage.
Change what you eat and fast to lose fat. Change body composition through resistance training to be resistant to gaining fat.

80 lbs in 6 months without fasting. Whats your point?

Both approaches work. I just think I could not stand the mental pressure that comes with the fasting.

>fasting
>mental pressure

its the opposite brainlet, fasting leads to mental euphoria

>90% diet 10% exercise
that's why i gave up on the exercise because it puts you in pain and takes so much effort not to give up (yea im a pussy but most people do give up going to the gym because - it just fucking hurts!)

by giving up the exercise i was able to have more willpower to focus on my diet. because at least the diet doesnt put me in so much discomfort.

>ignorant alert
He's at 1800 kcal a day. Of course more excercise will make his ass melt faster. And even if it doesn't, he will feel great after every session.

>diet+exercise loses most weight, but only about 10% more than diet only group
>The protocol was 45 min aerobic 5 days per week.
As you mentioned by yourself. Thats no excercise.

So does heroin.

Far healthier than staying a fat sack of shit

its not a competition dickhead.

Fasting is safe and healthy. I personally dont do it because I lift like a madman errday, but for couch potato fatasses might be a good idea

spent all this time looking for my phone, but simply can't find it. wanted to tho

Working out while fasting is more efficient.

If your skin is that bad to start with you are FUCKED regardless of how you lose it. Man tits in particular are very difficult to recover from. A gut on the other hand will recover nicely as long as you arent like 500lbs

>exercize to burn da caloreeeees
First of all; caloric expenditure calculations (like the one on a treadmill) are a rough guess & a bad one at that.
youtu.be/NqwvcrA7oe8?t=2155
The amount of excess caloric burn you might experience from strenuous exercise above & beyond a resting metabolic rate from just being awake and motile do not represent a very significant difference in net energy balance when considered on a weekly or monthly basis. Unless you're a ultra-marathon runner you're not significantly affecting net energy balance.
The referenced 5xperweek-45min aerobic study only netted a 10% increase in weight loss and I guarantee you most of that weight loss was from increased caloric demand from improved muscle tone/mass (ie: not burned directly).
>what a great workout for muh heart!
your heart is controlled autonomically. your heartrate is a response to your internal physiology & is higher or lower, capable of more or less as a consequence of the systems it is supported by/must overcome.
If you believe acute stress on the heart somehow makes the heart better; do you also believe an anxiety disorder w/ occasional panic attacks will make the heart stronger? Why would it not if you believe accute stress improves heart health.
Fat people get ventricular hypertrophy (enlarged heart) - and you know that is a bad thing, right?
You improve your heart health by giving it the opportunity to work less. Cardio is a bad meme.
>Eat less calories breh!
While this could be fine if the dietary composition is fixed; the fact that user got fat in the first place would be indicative that his diet is compositionally garbage. Without changing eating timing (fasting) and/or as composition we're really not addressing the hormonal environment produced by the foods consumed. We need to do something about user's undoubtably lowered insulin sensitivity above & beyond smaller portions of garbage.

The ultimate gains goblin

re-addressing the concern about skinsag before more text wall
Fasting increases autophagy in other body systems and likely does so similarly for the skin. Alleged memefasting is your best bet for for taught-skin (observe pick related, the man that fasted for 382 days).
The primary ways to prevent skinsag are having healthy skin & not being old. If you don't have those things; lose the weight anyway an look to surgical correction. It's a better problem to have than being a land whale.

Attached: taught.jpg (704x454, 57K)

congrats. Keep going. You will start feeling human around 21% bodyfat. I've been there…

Yes, but doing high volume and intensity is impossible

HEY FATTY

STOP EATING

No is not.

Found the dumbass who never actually followed a proper strength training program

bro bro bro bro you gotta eat big to get big

fuck off with this retarded meme. the faster you loose the weight the less time it will be under tension and the less chance on stretched skin

i do 10km runs after 3 days of fasting and still do fine. just dont do any sprints afterwards.

>runs
He thinks it's the same as lifting
Post body Mr. Skeleton

>Running

What the fuck?

You could probably skip the cardio if you just fasted. Hell, fasting for 2 days will burn more calories than cardio would ever.

The guy on the right still looks better and will be healthier. He'll be able to be active and keep up with his kids.
I didn't car how attractive my mom was, I only cared that she wanted to eat McDonald's all the time and I would have to walk slower for her. And she never did anything active with me. At least I had my dad for that.

B-but I will die if I do so...

but you can get waaay more easy fat loss if you also do cardio

i also kept doing my 90 minute workouts 3x aweek. one of those was after 4 days of fasting

Theres no such thing as losing weight to fast. At that weight youre gonna have a shit ton of excess skin and will need sugery anyways. Keep going, push yourself

Attached: 1543724515679.png (562x2096, 1.49M)

Nigga I lost 1 pound a week steadily when I was 80 kg, you're not losing weight too fast, you need to lose it FASTER

Drink a lot of water and don't go below 1800 and you should be fine. However if you get loose skin make sure to eat a little more. I'd say 2k of healthy food wiill bee good. But yeah.. water is the key.
