Start bouldering

Start bouldering.
>Actually use your brains trying to make your way up
>Be at ripped physique through the year
>Killer grip, shoulder, back and core strength
>Easy to combine some lifting to it

That dude is well above 1/2/3/4

Definitely an advanced lifter

Ok, now post your body. Every 'climber' I've seen IRL is 130lbs and only good at pullups (relatively). Noone will ever know you do any kind of physical activity if you only climb unless you tell them.

Climbing is hard as fuck above 150 lbs unless that's how you trained to get to that weight. A 200 lb. lifter will have a very hard time getting started.

that's a lifter taking instagram pics on an easy climbing wall you fucking inbred brainlet

>be 5'11 135lbs soaking wet
>start bouldering with friends occasionally
>start eating more and going more frequently
>notice myself getting stronger in everyday bullshit
>people starting to comment on my body
>literally all of the girls at work comment how I've been getting bigger

I've started to add barbell training because let's be real, but bouldering is super fun and builds strength in different ways than lifting

I started off with 'post body'. So far you've only confirmed the fact that 'climbers' are 130lbs and need to lift to actually look like an adult human bean.

>use your brains
my fucking sides breh
>durr where i put hands so i no fall
yeah real fuckin brain bender there

5'11" 135lbs is literally middle school tier.

You are a fucking turbo brainlet if you think that guy got his muscles from bouldering

I’d like to do it as a fun hobby but nowhere near me does it. On a somewhat related note: Ariel rope courses provide similar benefits. Went to one in South Bend Indiana on a road trip, it was fucking great

been touching a barbell for like 2 months

eating is hard

If you need lifting and big muscles to cure your insecurity, then i can't help. But honestly, there's more to life and sports than getting bulky

I love these "you have to be skinny fuck" arguments. Why? I know ~200lbs climbers who can do V8. Sure it's hard to get to v10 that way, but how many of you are going to squat 250kg to be honest?

You can actually do what you want and have your own goals, you don't have to become a pure climber or be a pure bodybuilder.

How about being able to climb V8 and also lift heavy? Yeah maybe your ego hurts because somebody will lift more than you and someone else will climb harder grades than you, but in the end you're the jack of all trades and having the most fun.. maybe.

lose the mustache, you're not capable of maintaining one.

you're right but I don't like shaving

>be me
>climbed 10 ft wall at summer camp 10 yrs ago
>thatwaseasy.jpeg

Fast forward to current year

>on vietnamese cartoon forum
>manlets on fit always brag about grabbing rocks and going up them
>"lol a child/monkey can do that u 'durr muh funtional strength'"
>totally mogged
>btfo.ftw
>today was a good day

This is complete nonsense. Why say something as fact when you have no idea what you’re talking about?

Ok, no post what you look like after climbing

Just imagine what most /fitizens/ will miss in life just because they have body dysmorphia

man, Jow Forums is full of normies. It's painful browsing around here.

It is my belief that rockclimbers are the most pathetic thing next to road cyclists.

Here me out,
Bodybuilding definitely gets you bigger and makes you more attractive.

Every other athletic hobby gets you some improvement in your game, but not necessarily bigger muscles, therefore less poontang.
However, certain hobbies such a boxing or basketball can get you into pros and get you paid money.

Climbing has no pro league. It can't get you money.
Therefore you look shittier than your potential and you make no money. It's pathetic. Also climbing is a hipster activity.

>It is my belief that rockclimbers are the most pathetic thing next to road cyclists.
And there you are posting anime pics

Are you just going to ignore the rapid growth speed of bouldering / climbing? It already made its way to olympics because of that. Climbing gyms are popping out like mushrooms. It's going to be a big sport in the future.

Don't need muscles when you've got balls this big

Attached: handsinabigcrack.jpg (1900x1001, 260K)

Oh yeah, you'd be so proud of a deadbeat manlet/lanklet twink father who won bronze in the bouldering olympics

lmao kys

Bronze? I bet jan would be a better dad climbing with his kid than you, who will die as a kissless virgin with anger issues

I really wanna do it user... I already do grappling x2 a week and lift x3 a week... How physically challenging is it compared to those?

It looks like so much fucking though. Maybe a bit expensive but shit, so are most fun things.

Depends how much you wanna do it and how good (and how fast) you wanna improve. If you do it 3-4 times a week, it will be taxing alone. Bouldering is motorically very exhausting sport. It can be hard to grasp how strong you have to be by just looking at boulderers, but just try it and you'll understand. Especially dyno's at your limit require you to be 100% fresh

>goals other than bigness, pussy, and fat stacks don't exist
literal rapper tier priorities

>Every other athletic hobby gets you some improvement in your game, but not necessarily bigger muscles

You are so fucking retarded I hope this is bait

Literally every sport works different muscles, most of which don't even come close to being touched by your routine of the Rippetard 4 compounds

>bouldering
literally for faggots and hipsters the only good thing is those fuckers stay in their gym and dont clog up all the good routes in the alps because they can not handle climbing some real mountains instead of a gym wall

>Being this afraid of modern climbing with more dynamic style and acrobatic moves

It's not about handling real mountains, but it's actually a more interesting style to watch for viewers and also much more fun to do. Mountains are more about endurance and will.

>started bouldering
>first time in, trainer mirin my physique
>she tells she won`t go easy on me
Was really fun, didn't feel anything afterwards

>next week second time
>tell her I wasn`t sore at all
>tells me thats okey lest try some speed work
>felt like she strapped me to a bad and rided me for 2 hours
>my arms were bleeding, my forearms felt like they were drenched in acid
>hands were shaking so much I barely was able to drive home
To anyone who is long time climber - can I adapt to the workload training once a week or I will always be fucked up afterwards?

>animeposter
>3 responces
Lo how far we fell...

Nice wall of text.

POST BODY RETARD

>Once a week
Depends how hard you train, most likely not much
But im mainly bouldering so can't confirm 100%. Bouldering is a strength sport where you do a few hard moves and rest a few minutes. It's like powerlifting. Powerlifting doesn't leave you breathing heavily being full of lactic acid like bodybuilding would.

>about a hundred words
>wall
Do you have brain damage? Are you a filthy phoneposter?

I promise you i will, if you post yours first. But it still doesn't prove anything, since bouldering is not about comparing each others bi's and tri's

climbing looks cool but I don't have a gym near me

Attached: 1542782288685.jpg (750x749, 130K)

>Ultimately doesn't post body

Great job, maybe come back next time and make fun of Jow Forums for not playing squash instead.

tbhfam i drive 45mins to go climb. only on sundays tho, then barbell mon-fri split

So climbing is the veganism of activities?

>Noone will ever know you do any kind of physical activity if you only climb unless you tell them.
very true.

also. climbing is
fun
I don't even have a license
although there's a driving school in the next building so that's something

You fail to see how this just shows that both your body and mind are ill, and that's why you won't show your body. Now back to the basement, dude.

Why the fuck do you look like a pokemon evoluton with more of that hair growing from your ass in each pic?

i'm having problems passing calc 3, but will start bouldering to use my brain, thx bro

Love how not one responds to this.

That mustache isn't doing you any favors. Makes you look like a scuffed hipster.

So I guess that was the speedwork and untrained forearms that fucked me up. How`s the whole community? Coz most gyms have an unhealthy concentration of autism to the point when smalltalk is impossible - people either drool over you or act like you raped their dog

counterpoint there's a ton of pussy at climbing gyms

This tbhq

>Cons:
>Have to notify everyone within a 1 mile radius daily that you climb through either non-verbal social cues (Instagram, shopping at REI and wearing Patagonia) or verbal social cues (ie "I climb", "Why don't you climb?" etc.), usually with a tinge of passive aggressiveness and/or superiority (see: OP)
>drop it after three years when you realize it was a fad just like your undergraduate studies
fuck off also check em

I weigh 100kg and have plateaued at v7. Is this my destiny? Am I doomed to be a mediocre climber at this weight?

None of us will become the next alex honnold so whats your point

>wall has a negative angle

shit nigga, you don't even need holds to climb that thing, what is it 7 degrees over 90?

Climb more. Try to incorporate campus boarding, fingerboarding. Or try a different gym - setters tend to to have a pattern in their setting going to a new gym where different setters work can up your game massively. Else try top rope/lead climbing

Climbers in gyms tend to be the flower power hippys from the 60/70's.

The gyms where I frequent everybody helps everybody. Small talk or social meetings are common but I tend to stick with myself and my buddy. Even though we help other people when asked.

>everyone who starts playing team sports or boxing becomes a pro
>.01% of people actually do
Always an anime poster

F-Freddie?
