Anyone else not bench or deadlift? The only big 3 lift I do is squats. For back, weighted chins/pull ups and shrugs, for chest and shoulders weighted dip and OHP. It's obvious that all the people who circlejerk about how you "have" to do the big 3 are just trying to fit in with lifting culture and meet the status quo.

You sound like a massive dyel with a superiority complex, post body
How is it a superiority complex to say that you don't HAVE to do certain lifts? I'm not bashing them.
Only one of these I don't do is deadlift. I just hate the whole exercise, it feels wrong. I don't lift just for muscles, health is important too. Deadlift makes me feel like I'm gonna break something one day.
For lower back I just do hyperextensions. Of course there's pretty much no weight involved compared to deadlift, but it's better than nothing.

I don't deadlift, squat, or OHP, and I only do close grip bench. I make sure to do other exercises to target those muscles, though. I look decent.

I don't do bench because I don't always have a spotter, so I can't go to failure. But skipping deadlifts is dumb

You don't really need to do them for that physique though i dunno any reason to skip benching since it does not have the same risk as the others.

You should have at least one full ROM pull from the floor for longevity and structural integrity. Im not saying you have to deadlift 600, but theres no reason why you shouldnt have a 350-400 deadlift, at the very least on a trap bar. Trap bar is less taxing on the lower back and you wont miss much development compared to a conventional deadlift.
then what are you even trying to say? of course there are near infinite variations of exercises per muscle group and as long as you employ progressive overload you will see some gains.
I'm saying that outside of sports for someone who just wants general strength and aesthetics it's not neccessary to do deadlifts. sure they make you a lot stronger but outside of sports other heavy compounds are enough, and in terms of aesthetics more direct exercises such as romanian deadlifts or shrugs work better
I can understand deadlift (although you should try it, once you get the form right it's the most satisfying lift of them all)
But why not bench? Do you have any reasoning not to do it?
i did deadlift for about 6 months but just don't feel like it was adding much to my training. as for bench, i've just always had better results from weighted dips so i made that my primary chest exercise.
You don't need to tax your cns to tax your muscles.
focusing on daily compounds is bad if you've got more than 6 months uner your belt.

God damn op, i've been doing almost exact same thing for last month and seeing good results too. Glad i'm not the only one.
Do you do any other exercises?
fucking retards kek
I DL (440) and OHP (205). Every time I get over 300 on bench I re-injure my pec, I've done this 4 times, and I have had several ACL tears so no squatting. I use machines as accessories for these missing movements, but the fact is lifting through injuries just seems to lead to more injuries for me.
I'm in a situation where i don't have a bench but do have dip bars. I've been thinking of doing dip and ohp for chest. Think if I add some floor flyes in it would be overkill?
floor press is always a good option
start doing incline press too to round out your chest, also you should do something for your rear delts.
I do an incline bench once a week. Chest gets too big otherwise. For hammys, I do single leg straight deadlifts and hyperxtensions. Instead of squats, I do lunges.
The unilateral leg work is a life changer for me.
That's why a PPL is god tier
