I dont understand how you can date in your 20s. I go to school for STEM, work enough to remain debt-free, and manage to hit the gym to remain in great condition. I don't have any free time left outside that and studying, I dont play vidya, watch Netflix, or anything. Are all the Chads flunking their classes or like 20k in debt or something?

I just started a relationship with a really intelligent, beautiful girl I've known for about a year now.
Prior to that I had a two-year hiatus after a relationship that lasted 6 years, which was great but it started in our late teens and by the time it ended we just wanted way different things.
I've never really pursued anything casual and have just patiently waited for somebody nice to come along that I felt comfortable with.
It's working out great for me.

Then on Saturday I met a girl who was cuter, incredibly affectionate, and had way more in common with me. I study mechanical engineering and the men/women ratio is 9/1. The women usually have a boyfriend and/or look like shit.
The ones who are single are constantly surrounded by other guys and develop a shit personality.
There are so many stem students in my city that we literally have 1/3 more guys than girls living here, if you look at age 18-27.

I think "dating life" is a rather grandiose term for staring at girls while sitting at stoplights.
I did take a fat scene girl to see a movie when I was 18 but I wasn't attracted to her in any way and hated the experience. I actually ended up guilting her into reimbursing me for the meal.
That was 11 years ago and a girl hasn't found me attractive since.
