Buying a gun

Both good choices

The only choice.

getting back into BJJ and maintaining my kickboxing

I'm a black belt in boxnig
And a purple belt in kicking yer fucking ass in muay thai

I'm neglecting socializing and isolating myself emotionally and physically. I could snap at any time.

Recently realized Bruce Lee was just an actor, has no belts, has no fight record, didn’t do tournaments, ditched wing Chun early on, was a seller of himself and tricked the world into thinking he was more than he was.

Drunk driving.

OP here. This is badass as fuck. Do you think when I reach a black belt i judo, i will be capable of holding my own against a BJJ black belt on the ground? Or should I start training BJJ immediately after reaching my black judo belt?

shitposting on Jow Forums and Jow Forums while absorbing their ideologies

And along with all this disciprine, the greatest of all, shitposting on Jow Forums.

It probably will be full of weebs, but luckily not the out of shape neckbeard kinds.

you're going to get the lanky kinds that think they're better than the neckbeard kinds
>brotip: they're not any better

can't wait

no, you'll get the the fighter kinds that can throw you across the damn room

Currently:

Karate + Boxing + Kung Fu

In the new year I'll be adding

Kendo & Aikido Jujitsu

Generic weight training and some jogging on top of all the above for endurance/strength.

I do it all via the same Dojo & Sensei... he is a real Mr. Miyagi type, probably close to 85 years old but can still kill most 20 year olds with his bare hands. He has been studying martial arts and boxing since the early 60's

It took me a decade to get to shodan so I'd say its within reach just dont stay. I didnt start bjj until I was a shodan in judo. My first day rolling I was destroying blue belts, purple belts and brown belts but I was also doing a lot of shit that wasnt allowed in competition, I found early on in my bjj career that the black belts didnt want to get embarrassed from a beginner until I said to one of my coaches once they found out about my background that I was here to learn and I never brought my ego onto the mats. Most Judokans are much more humble and almost cold when it comes to emotions whereas bjj practitioners in my experience have been the opposite so keep that in mind when you start rolling with them but that varies from school to school. I remember a sensei drilling us saying be the glacier that never melts.

>tldr:
Once you become a Shodan in Judo in a year or 2 you'll be rolling with black belts in bjj if they are willing but in my opinion a brown belt in Judo already will be sufficient enough to roll with a bjj black belt.

he's holding it upside down

**just dont stray

Concealed carry.

Brown belt in judo and TKD

Currently studying hapkido to put it all together

I've been following a punch and kick routine on a heavy punching bag. Practicing stance and punches/kicks/knees

Now I see that I've been spending very little time in training compared to all of you.

>kyokushin
how about the actual karate?

You should have stuck with judo or bjj first for 5+ years and than gone into another grappling discipline. I was going to say something to the guys who said concealed carry or using a gun but I had to reread the thread post. In actuality owning any weapon will give you the potential to be dangerous but you first have to learn how to wield it before you use it. 15 lbs of pressure doesn't cut it unless you truely have it in you to take a life.

I practice MMA two times a week, I generally avoid fights, but I love to do sparring, Is almost relaxing.

>kyokushin
Is this karate?
a friend of mine is brown belt in shotokan and he is quite the bully, he wants me to train with him but I'm not the kind of guy that does martial arts.

Either it’s a) full of shitty weebs, or b) more likely, you’re gonna get thrown around like a baseball or worst of all c) it’s a bunch of fucking weebs who’ll throw you around like a baseball

>Infected myself with HIV
>Always walk around with at least 1 container filled with more than 3.4oz of fluid
>Statistically African American
>Renounced my high school diploma
>Constantly carrying Gatorade and a bag of M&Ms

Shotokan karate is somewhat of a meme in terms of fighting. The people who practice it usually only do it because they like the idea of knowing a "traditional" martial art.
Yes, kyokushin karate was developed in the 1960s by Masutatsu Oyama in his mission to create the "strongest karate". He pretty much stripped away everything that didn't work in fighting and only kept the necessities.

sorry guys I'm beainlet. Is "Denounced" a more appropriate word to use in that context?

Try and get someone who’s had classes or a coach to check your form, will do wonders

Ive been boxing for a few months and doing a lotta cardio,
Ive been wanting to do some grappling too tho.
I work in a job where people can definetly get dangerous so i want some grappling.

Currently my only options are Luta Livre and BJJ. Whats Jow Forums hot take on what i should do?

Attached: mood.png (449x354, 95K)

Check how often they compete, maybe see their Facebook page. See how often they train, how many black belts etc. Also why are you taking this class?

BJJ, although I like judo better. I don’t even know what Luta livre is, but honestly sounds like bunk. What’s your job?

How do I get dangerous with both ACL ripped? Surgery only or is it possible to train without them? Getting a gun permit in my country is a bitch

Wheelchair fencing.

I work in a closed psychiatric ward. People are usually nice enough and fighting is pretty rare luckily. It happens though from time to time. Being able to throw a punch does help with self conscience but its not like i can just start beating up patients.

Ive not heard of it before i started going to my fight gym either. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it.

I started doing cocaine again and desuX thats more dangerous than your karate kid thing.
Not that it's not impressive. It's great. But you are not dangerous user. Honestly getting into martial arts make you more calm and safe to be around. Thats cool bruh stop trying to much.

> started SS + Gomad. I will become a BRAP monster

That’s the expected response from his brain dead fan boys. So I am not allowed to call bullshit? Interesting logic mr. 14 year old

Just going to call it a day with boxing + sparring. Nigga I don't know where you live but I don't have to fight a thousand drug addicts to go buy my deenz at Aldis.

>the kids on my street are mean to me so I'm going to become like Goku and beat them all up!
cringe

didnt knew that girls browse Jow Forums

Chemical engineering. I could make some dirty, dirty bombs.

This is unironically my mindset when I was 10 and first started training. Also, what is wrong with a 10 year old taking inspiration from their favorite cartoon character?

im short 1 credit from graduating so it was this, brazilian jiu jitsu, or karate. im pretty sure it's casual and just about learning the fundamentals

is BJJ + lifting enough to kill 99% of guys?

Oh, well that’s pretty fucking lame. I’m in uni as well, and do judo, but ours is a sports club with a set budget, so we actually go out and compete 3-4 times a semester, as well as spar in our gym.

To be fair, ditching wing chun early on was probably the smartest thing he did

Only if you go the eddie bravo way and become the veggie-vigilante who sneaks up behind bad guys to hold the choke just long enough to make them a vegetable

Dude I don't fuck around. I'll fucking kill you.

>tfw 14 years of tkd

Newaza is easy as fuck but tachiwaza is just frustrating

Kek, and denounced makes more sense if you actually turned it down in public, but I think renounced is the right term to use in this sentence.

Depends on how far along your injuries are and how much you rehabbed them.

My main BJJ teacher is a black belt that also competed in powerlifting competitions and did MMA. He had surgeries on both his knees and can still kick you dead in the face/squat over 400 without much problems.

Lol. With all that you're still a wimpy s o y b o y.
Kys weakling

Being dangerous is about having nothing to lose man.

this desu

Which is he supposed to be adhamed of? Bettering himself? Being inspired by someone who bettered themself? Or recognizing the reality of potential threats to his wellbeing?

I've been watching UFC highlights

Kyokushin is badass. Done with the right training that is.

I'm bringing back the boomerang as a means of self defense

Meanwhile the chad that dunked you head in the toilet completely forgot about that instance that set you off on this path of overcompensation and could still beat your faggy mcdojo ass.

im aiming to get my black belt in Marine Corps Martial Arts
