>One of his training methods -- which he began as a boy but was still following as a pro -- was to pick cards out of a deck and perform pushups in accordance with each card. If he drew a 7, for example, he’d do seven pushups. A face card was worth 10 pushups, an ace 25 and a joker 50. He’d proceed through the entire deck, shuffle the cards and then do the same workout, but with situps. In his NFL days, he went through three decks of cards for each exercise.
There's probably more efficient ways to go about doing things, but it'll definitely build endurance and seems like it would be entertaining at least
Carson Allen
That's a killer workout
Easton Morris
oh god i seen boomer today shuffling deck in the gym, so that's why he did it, i just though he's retard or something............
Cooper Williams
gotta confuse your muscles, bb
Austin Ramirez
Sure, if you want to build muscle endurance.
Justin Brown
Wtf thats like 400 pushups
Daniel Lee
Quick twitch fibers too. If you have more endurance you can do more muscle building sets in the gym. Its all connected.
Hudson Reed
Did he have a set amount of cards he would pull or what? When do you stop? If you don't, why not just do the ~400 or so pushups that a deck would give you?
Jeremiah Jackson
3x(52x(2-50)) push-ups/sit-ups
Daniel Garcia
>implying he wasn't on gear
Jaxon Gomez
You dont have to be on gear to do a fuck ton of push ups. You just have to train for a long time, be stupid patient/stubborn, and have that ability to "turn off" the pain.
Mason Baker
This quote is to trick normies into thinking pushups will do anything for their goal body. Ray Lewis probably bench pressed over 2 pl8
Jordan Gray
this is very popular in prison
Hunter Stewart
He was definitely on gear and probably did both. I have no doubt in my mind that Lewis did all these push ups and hit the gym and ran for days. The man had no quit in him. He probably would have made it without juice he had a ridiculously high motor. He would basically jog in place between plays and ran up and down the sideline cheering the offense on off the field and be full go full burst faster than everyone around him in plays. Lewis was a freak.
Justin Nguyen
Did it help him hold down those people as his buddy stabbed them to death?

Probably. Those scum bags were known gang members trying to stick up his entourage they deserved what they got. Only salty Steelers fans think he should've gone down and lost his career and future for that
Wyatt Kelly
>nearly 1200 pushups and situps each Seems a bit excessive, but the method of using the cards seems like a neat novelty to make horrific workouts like that somewhat interesting.
Ray Lewis was a fucking machine though so not surprised he went that far.
Zachary King
Huehue aware
Henry Turner
I saw that too but it was a young guy. Eh,all types I guess.
William Edwards
Why didn't he just keep the same deck of cards and shuffle instead of wasting 3 decks each workout
Jordan Walker
>why does this black man not just do something that requires a bit more energy to do and goes out his way to friviously spend
