dyel?

I remember my second month of lifting too

Good job
Don't listen to estatters, 3pl8 ist an accomplishment worthy of praise

Well that depends entirely doesn't it? If you're 5'5'' tall and weight 120lbs when you start, then yes. Getting to 3pl8 DL is an accomplishment and requires lots of time and effort. If you're 6'3'' and weight 250lbs, it's fucking nothing. You probably pull 2pl8 on your first week after honing little bit of form, and from there you easily get to 3pl8 in like couple of months

Its easy to get there in a couple of months if you work at it for pretty much anyone. I really doubt everything you have posted fat man.

Being fat isn't strength.

OP here,
I'm 5'9 150lbs

What’s a good plate number thingy for a woman?

Congratulations man, I just hit 2.5pl8 a couple hours ago for the first time

We are all going to make it

when do you intend to start lifting big numbers?

don't listen to this child, 140 kilo deadlift is borderline shameful.

>5'9"
>150 lb
Please post a picture. At my skinniest I was 160 pounds (5'9") before I started really weightlifting, and I was skinny. I can't imagine what you look like.

315 deadlift is the equivalent of a 205x1/185x5 bench so congrats on your first milestone

>Ask me anything
what's the source on your image

>tfw I benched 1pl8 for reps the other day
>normies friends were impressed

nigga im 5'11 and the fattest ive been is like 135 lbs

>tfw I OHP'd 1pl8 for reps on my first day at the gym

Attached: 2p984203948.jpg (499x499, 22K)

that's legit impressive

jesus that's a lot

>things that never happened

Skinny for Americans maybe

yeah this, I cant imagine how a 5'9 person who weighs 160 pounds would be in any way skinny (since thats the average weight of a 5'11 guy), only thing i can think of would be he just had a lot of muscle on him since that weighs more than fat i think

Does Europe even have gyms?

I remember when I thought push presses were ohpresses.

the only workout you need is to climb the mountain

I hit a 3pl8 deadlift in my second month of lifting when I was 17

OP what the fuck, is this a cry for help

Yeah I've wondered this. Been in a lot of major cities and obviously you see some in London and other capitals but once you get outside of that it's just a bunch of DYELs walking to the bus.

Saw a chubby kid, basically built like this, doing 4pl8 for reps. Most of the people here start fat as fuck so a lot of lifts are easier for people like the waste of quads No joke, go into a pull up thread and look at all the people saying they had to train months to do one (1) pull up, and how that's the "average."

Nice LARP, unless you played sports your entire life even then extremely unlikely

does amerifats visit gyms?

Ill you be my gf?

Why can't amerifats count weights like normal white people in kgs? Why "muh plates" and not even lbs? Who knows maybe your plate is only 20 kgs ahahaha

>tfw I get looks for doing a lmao4pl8 deadlift for 4 reps
You guys told me I was dyel?

>tfw front squatted 32kg for 3 reps

Nice blogpost faggot.

Post body

Sauce on this pic

hey happy for you

think about it bro.. this site has a feedback system of always telling people they need to improve until they reach a good amount of weight on all their lifts. even then youre dyel here. but you take a step back and realize damn, im pretty fuckin strong and then you see all/fit/ was trying to do was get you to improve yourself beyond what you thought was an acceptable level

What's your first year of lifting been like?

More like half this board doesnt even lift and wants the other half to be just as miserable as they are

Hey me too, just there, for 4x4.

We're all goin to make it brah!

The quads agreed with you, why do you call them a waste?

And then the entire gym clapped

if im 6'1 at 163 pounds is 3pl8 an accomplishment or dyel

kek

Good job OP, don't listen to haters, 310 lbs is no light weight. Keep going, and know you are joining the ranks of the truly strong.

The accomplishment is highly personal. For some 3pl is the top of the mountain
For others it is just a number they pass.

I am legitimately concerned for your health.

I've always had really thick legs, and I guess I had some muscle. I wasn't beanpole skinny but I definitely was not muscular whatsoever. Probably a lot of weight was in my legs.

>be me homegym masterrace training for 1.5 years
>Move to new city for college
>always wear baggy clothes
>start going to gym with new friends
>they show me around start explaining what all the equip is for lol
>alright guys ill just follow your routine
>they start doing ohp
>i warm up with 1pl8
mfw people at my college still think im a genetic freak

It's not that weird, I'm 6foot 126lb

Actually, a lmao3pl8!! isn't strong. I mean, it's not dyel tier, but you're still at novice strength level. Well, unless you weigh 50 kg, but you know he probably doesn't

is your ass juicy or did you forget glutes and hammies are part of the posterior chain

No one that want to look good or is into BB deadlifts

noone at my gym deadlifts more than 100kg

>tfw literally can't grip the bar past 2.5 pl8
Tell me it gets better bros...

Yes, and?

>Had to travel so couldn't deadlift for 2 weeks
>Tfw 1RM deadlift went down almost 1pl8

God damn eat a sandwich dude

tfw 5' 8" 150 and just deadlifted 2 pl8, It was a lot easier than I expected though so I got no doubt I can hit 3pl8 in a few months,

How are you all so skinny? Don't you eat food and weightlift?

dont listen to him
i am 5'8" 180lbs and I have yet to hit lmao 4pl8 and i am 2.5 years in
being smaller means it will take a while to reach strength goals
but at least people will know that you lift within the first decade of you starting

Get grip trainers, grip goes up fast if you give it a little attention.

I would say lmao3pl8 depending on your weight is a low-intermediate lift.

Only impressive if you're taller than 6' 2

>don't listen to him
don't listen to whom?

Obviously not

THANK YOU HUNGRY SKELETON

I can lift 3pl8 for 5 reps at 137lbs , been lifting for 6 months, it's my favourite lift, can't bench for shit though
How to improve bench?, no one cares about dls

Do you mean to say it's harder for taller people to deadlift?

that's why I said "joining the ranks" not "in the ranks". IMO any lifts above 300 lbs is intermediate tier and should be praised.

You're physically carrying the weight a longer distance. Thats why manlets have such impressive lifts, they're only moving the weight imperceptible amounts.

Wouldnt that be uneven?

Manlets are also proportionally smaller so 3 pl8 for a manlet is more impressive than 3 pl8 from 6'2 guy. Unless, somehow they are the same weight, in which the 6'2 is a lanklet or the manlet is a fatass.
