I do partially lift for girls, but I also fear other consequences of taking bad care of my health, the primary one is that before even getting a girlfriend, exercise helps my confidence.

I enjoy the companionship in the gym and being around like minded people who are also into fitness, it's also a distraction from normal life and it never hurts being healthy and being happy with yourself everyday. Then again I started lifting late and I already have experience with girls so that's probably why I don't think about them when I walk to the gym every other day.
