HELLO

HELLO

I understand a lot of you are either concerned about gaining muscle, or losing fat. Or both. But in terms of honest to god HEALTH AND FITNESS what would be the best routine to do to build the HEALTHIEST POSSIBLE body

I have absolutely no care for being jacked, shredded, building mass or being under a certain percentage of body fat. I just want to make sure I am the healthiest version of myself possible. I don't care about being big, or small. Or what women or men might think of me. Health and fitness are my main concerns

I stand 6ft tall at 170 lbs. I ride a bicycle and jog often, maybe 5 times a week. I also do push ups and pull ups every few days. I have no injuries or deformities that would make it impossible for me to move in a certain way. I don't eat processed foods, this includes bread/pitas, any and all chocolates/sweets, I add absolutely 0 salt to any of the food I make for myself. I don't drink alcohol or do any drugs. Including coffee. I don't drink "diet" anything. I almost exclusively drink water, with the splash of fat free milk to the oatmeal I prepare myself every morning. My diet includes a lot of things like spinach, kale, carrots, onions, sweet potatoes, garlic, beans and lentils. The only meat I eat is chicken, but I did make some pork chops for a friend the other day. Per request

I started doing yoga because I've heard about it's health benefits. I also meditate almost daily. My resting heart rate is about 42, and my blood pressure I believe was 105/65 or something along those lines

tl;dr I want to become a health super autist with no concerns for anything ego related like being bigger or smaller

You still need to lift to be healthy.
Overall I’d say the “healthiest” looking people are swimmers, gymnasts, sprinters. People who master calisthenics and overall movement of their own body. Don’t just focus on cardio. Focus on maximizing the efficiency of your body.

This man speaks the truth!

This

If you are at a healthy weight which I assume you are then try to have a more modest outlook, eat at maintenance and eat some more meat for a varied diet, I guess? Try to get some sunlight, sustain your social relationships. If you are at this point that you're describing I can only imagine the place where you can make the most health gains should be outside the realm of exercise and dieting, and instead in the domain of social relationships and so on. Try to read more books, put yourself in engaging environments where you have a chance to challenge yourself.

salt is good for you, so are fats. What kind of dumb health blogs have you been reading?
as far as healthiest routine do calisthenics and play soccer.

Autism is unhealthy.

/thread

this kind of autistic pursuit will put enough stress on your psyche to easily cast a shadow on your supposed health gains, while exercise and diet are important, it's pointless to focus that much on them, because there are tons of other factors that affect your health

OMG Yes!

I cook everything I eat in olive oil and no other oils. I eat avocados and plenty of NUTS. I also eat peanNUT butter. The natural goey dripping kind. I also eat avocados and take fish oils. I have a decent amount of fat intake, but you're very kind for the concern

I do need to swim more!

Nuts

Good advice. If you've got any book recommendations i'm down for a read ;D

>Using olive oil for cooking
BIG YIKES

In Search of lost time

>with the splash of fat free milk to the oatmeal
never gonna make it poo

Yep. Everything is cooked in olive oil, and absolutely no other oils. Ever

Looks like a series, very cool!

I've heard that the field of nutrition and sports science is the shittest science, is Jow Forums memeing me or is it true?

>no salt

Kys faggot.

It's not a series you retard
Please don't get into literature

You've got one body and you can either take care of it, or beat the shit out of it. I played basketball with a 70 year old man maybe 2 weeks ago. I beat him cause i'm taller and faster, but afterwards the dude did a HANDSTAND PUSH UP. My mom married a 68 year old dude like 6 years ago, the guy walks around with a cane and looks like he's on his last bypass surgery

As far as a career just become a legal drug dealer like a P.A. or something. Or a personal trainer/physical therapist

This, try to have some friendships, and then begin to stake out the local college library, just waitin for some clumsy lass to spill her books.
Girls only expose their vulnerable gills when they spill their books user.

Hahahahahahahahaha. I probably won't. But thanks for the advice, friend

I recommend "the way of the superior man" by David Dieda. Also "the power of now" by Eckhart Tolle. "crucial conversations" is also decent, by Stephen R. Covey

Also maybe practice a little buddhism, you seem angry. Take maybe 10 minutes off to yourself to clear your mind

I'm not here to bicker with some people i'll forget exist in an hour or 2 though. I'm trying to seek advice by some people with far too much time on their hands who maybe can enrich my life just a little more

I genuinely hope you die as soon as possible

You are an absolute cunt

I'll be dead, very soon. The older we get the faster time flies. I remember when I was just a kid.. Playing with tag with my friends at the park. I tripped over and busted my lip. The scar is still there and I remember it like it was yesterday. My face all swollen. Just a few months ago I was on this road trip. Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles. Sand Diego. It was so hot I had to look for shade. Now i'm in Chicago, and the road are frozen. Someone was riding their bike and slipped and fell when they tried making a turn on the black ice. But I can almost still feel the heat from the summer. My skin cooking in the sun. Our lives will flash right before our eyes, and you can spend your life hating. Wishing death to others. Talking shit with people you don't know. It's your life, and if that's what truly makes you happy. Then I'm very happy for you. We all die eventually, I just saw my neighbor lady and she told me her husband is in the hospital for a stroke. That sounds really painful and miserable. All I know is, when it's time for me to go. I hope it's in the easiest way possible. And i'm definitely taking the steps I need to make sure that happens. As should you

you are a huge ass
you aren't turning into batman anytime soon, hate to break it to ya

Is this bait

I'll never be batman, or one punch man, or goku or super man or anything. But I can sure eat as healthy and take of myself as much as I possibly can. Every day is a gift, and this body of mine is a blessing. Because one day, I won't wake up. I won't be able to make my oatmeal, then go for my jog. I won't be able to do all the beautiful things in this world. I won't be able to see anyone smile ever again, or hear the sounds of laughter. I won't be able to feel the warmth of the sun, or a nice cool breeze on the beach. One day I just won't wake up. Till then, i'm determined to take care of myself. As best as I possibly can. Sorry if that bothers you, for whatever reason

Best wishes guys. I got things to take care of. Thanks for the advice, for anyone that actually tried being cool

This guy. This was the best guy. You're awesome, random whoever you are

What the fuck am I reading? Is this bait?

you need sodium too though you lose a lot of it when you excercise and it's a necessary nutrients
