Hey Jow Forums. I'm going to do it.. Just got rid of all my cigarettes. What am I in for and how can I help prepare? Are nicotine gums and patches worth it? Vapes? Should I go cold turkey?

as someone who never gets cig cravings i dont know how to help

i have my vape and my box of marlboros

>no cravings
>sucks on a metal dick every 5 minutes

Quit cold turkey
I get so angry and agitated.
Then I hit the gym
After about 3 days the effect peaks
And after about a week I feel fine.
Then I vape again for a week.
Repeat this.
Mad gainz.

it's a metal box :3

For me I tried quitting a bunch of times in different ways until I truly understood how I was poisoning myself and that it's simply not an option to keep doing that.
Then I quit cold turkey.
I did smoke on 2 occasions after that but never relapsed.

Depends on how many a day and how long you smoked for

>didn't read the book
how the fuck are you planning on making it OP?

You need to temporarily avoid friends who smoke until you have the resolve to resist. You may also get some constipation that will also tempt you. It sounds goofy af but herbal teas helped ease my cravings for reasons unknown. I don't know if it would work for anyone else I'm just saying what worked for me

>Using pussy sticks.

i highly suggest reading the book OP

the easy way by allen car.

however make sure you read the book only if youre DEAD SET ON QUITTING. dont read it if you arent serious

Me, I only smoke 2 cigs a day, one for morning with coffee and one at night for top comfiness. I'm still fine.

cute

Not trying to black pill you here bro, because I sincerely hope you can shake cigs. But it was much easier for me to shake an Oxycontin habit than cigs. I get borderline suicidal after 24h without nicotine.

The first step is realizing you need to kick the habit so ay you're doing good on that front already bro.

Fact of the matter is everyone reacts little differently without it. I just got pissed off really easily at everyone and everything and felt depressingly bored. Cravings, I didn't really get physical cravings oddly enough, didn't feel sick or anything without cigs, just felt really tired. But I only smoked for maybe 4 years, under a pack a day too.

I think people on average take up to like 6 times to quit completely, but I'm pulling that number out my ass. Just think that's what I read once awhile back. As for the method, try cold turkey first. If it works it works, awesome. Didn't need to spend any money or do anything special other than wait out the cravings. If you can't do cold turkey, get a vape pen. Disposables are what I used, didn't wanna get something expensive or some other way to keep on getting nicotine after I quit cigarettes. Or try the patch. Vapes just made want to smoke less. But the patch helped me quit inhaling shit entirely, and I managed to wean myself off nicotine with them. Really just depends on you dude. Best of luck, you'll feel great once you know you're free from those shitsticks.

You can get nicotine from vaping or gum or patches. Nicotine doesn’t cause cancer. It’s all the other shit in cigs that’s really bad for you.

Get like me.

I don't share this based and fucking redpilled smoking alternative with just everyone.

There's a cool, suave uniqueness to this method. I picked it up from my childhood best friends Iranian father.

Toothpicks. I went a step further and got some menthol Tea Tree oil infused toothpicks from amazon. It's even like smoking. You take out your little box, pop a pick in.
It's nice to chew, suck on a little bit, take big "drags" of fresh air, etc
and BONUS, it looks fuckin cook and unique and if anyone asks why youre always chewing on a tooth pick, you just tell them it's how you quit smoking. Then they're like oh, holy shit that's badass.
Sorry for the Reddit spacing. Enjoy

I've been "quitting" for a while. The gum helps but you gotta really be dedicated to quitting nicotine altogether. You'll still never lose a taste for cigs though. I smoke a lot less than I used to - down from half a pack a day to one or two cigs every three days or so. Feels good to be making progress.
I still personally like a cig on a lonely night, like tonight. Full moon, stars are out, and just got off work. Saw my boy Orion in the sky again and said hello and asked for the strength to be as great in my pursuits as he was a hunter. Those moments of peace are why I still smoke. I'd like to get my cigs down to maybe a cig a week eventually, and then once a month. But I'll always crave that sweet solitude. There's nothing quite like it. But honestly, that's a sacrifice I'm very willing to make. 10 minutes of peace from my daily troubles, that's all I want.

Toothpicks work very well I used them for a while. Takes great care of the oral fixation. Highly recommend but you might feel like a poser constantly chewing on a toothpick, but fuck what little bois and thots think about that.
Also, minty gum helps a lot. Non nicotine, and as minty as possible

I smoked since I was 14 (36 now) and only one thing helped me quit out of the many, many, many times I tried to quit. Vaping. It gave me the nic I needed, but I fucking hated vaping. Absolutely nothing like a stog. It was easy to quit vaping once I had quit smoking.

go cold turkey and keep yourself very busy during the first 3 days or so. it might help hanging out with friends who know that you're trying to quit to keep you distracted

I quit at once but i only smoked two cigs a day.

How much do you people smoke to get such addication ? The only thing i miss is going is chilling in my balcony
