>spend an hour stretching with endurance poses
the benefits are great, but not the benefits you're looking for

what do you mean by "effective"? it's excellent for your rest days if paired with lifting. better mobility will obviously improve your form.

It's great but not as good as lifting
Same goes for rock climbing
Also sex

Oh adrienne. The only babe I look at in yoga pants but haven't masturbated to. Namaste

Depends on the kind of yoga. The kind that NPC women do is most definitely a meme. Unfortunately that will be all you're likely to have access to as westerner. Just don't fucking bother unless you're south asian or live in south asian for some reason

helped my depression. gives me incredible flexibility. makes me feel great afterwards and works plenty of muscles that dont get attention.

Alternate these every day:

then move on to harder stuff. good luck. i cant imagine living without it.

Fuck doing it for muscle gains, but you will never be top tier fit if your mobility is shit

I dont know, but I remember doing yoga for a class during highschool and I remember coming out of it feeling so light and bouncy. It was strange but I felt so good afterwords. I kind of want to look for some kind of yoga place but I dont want to look like a faggot going to a yoga class. I think I'll just look up some youtube videos.

Yeah she looks nice without dressing like a whore.
And good yoga vids too.

yo actually do her shit? I did it for like a follow along month. Then I stopped, but now I stretch regularly, its just not yoga.

Any stretching is good.
The specific yoga part is good for the mental gains tho too.

I took two months off from yoga class and got pains with lifting and became stiffer in general.
I restarted and I feel better.

how long have you been doing yoga? Can you name some "poses that you've unlocked" .

I've been going for about 5 years.
I can do a lot of things, but only I can't open my legs that wide as women can. The hips you know

You mean you can't do this from 2:14 to 2:26

Seriously though 5 years is very good. I guess beginning is always the hardest point and now it's a habit for you. Do you have any yoga goals?

I stretch for a year inconsistently, and the last 3-4 months are very very consistent, and I am probably gonna stick with it beause I enjoy it now.

I'd like to be able to open my hips enough to do the lotus position. As an adult man who has been sitting in chairs for 20+ years is this an achievable goal with yoga?

yeah... there was recently a video about a grandpa following his live dream of dancing ballet. He had remarkable flexibility even at 70+years while starting late.
You just have to chase your goals, instead of posting about them on Jow Forums. If you made this post before you even know what exactly you have to do to achieve the lotus, you are probably not gonna make it.

yoga helped my anxiety - teaches you how to breathe and hold positions with control. nice to alternate with other routines, cant just do yoga to be fit. also, bikram/hot yoga classes for a good sweat.

Yoga helped my back problems. It's good if you have any pain in an area, cause you're essentially stretching all parts of your body out.

thanks for the links bro

Thanks m8
