simply no need for the fast IMO, you're 202 and fairly lean, all you'll need to do is drop to 1500kcal per day and you'll be shedding fat like no tomorrow on TEST,
if you really want to see the fat melt off you at 1500kcal per day, get some sopharma clenbuterol, hit 40, 80, 120, then stay at 180 for the rest of the two weeks - be sure to supplement taurine and potassium 2x per day.

Unfortunately, I have crappy genetics for storing/losing fat. I have been on a 2000cal/day diet for almost the entire year while roiding, macro counting and doing rigorous cardio 2-3 times per week and lifting heavy on the days I don’t do cardio. Even with all of that, I have averaged a drop of 1lb per month for the year. That’s why I’m going to the extreme measures and trying out fasting. The last few pounds of fat have been extremely discouraging. If I lower my cals further, my lifts fall off drastically with the drop in fat. At one point this last year, I went from 208 to 193 with no noticeable loss in fat and my lifts dropped on average about 15% across the board. I had to up my test to 750mg for a month and increase my cals to 3,000 to get my lifts back up to where they were and when they returned, I was 207..... genetics and age are a killer.
I’ll look into the other recommendations after I see how this round of fasting goes. I screen capped your post. Thanks!

I have been trying hard to just get rid of the fat because I know that I can diet well enough to keep it off but losing it has been absolutely awful... I’m happy with my body right now, I just want to be leaner. My ability to put on muscle has been great. I worked up to 2/3/4/5 in my first year of lifting before I stopped legs in order to do harder cardio. I can still OHP 225 and bench 345.... makes it hard to see lifts fall. I guess it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. One reason fasting works well for fat loss is fasting forced ketosis. For me it usually takes about 48 hours of fasting before my keto pee strips show color. I would say a better approach would be to fast for 2-3 days and check your ketones with piss strips (ketostix or generic knockoff). From there you can do whatever the fuck you want. If you want to stay in ketosis, you could do really low carb OMAD. Another thing is that it usually takes about 48 hours to get the benefits of HGH that come with fasting.

There are a number of reasons why people do dry fasting, but one reason is for increased fat loss. Your body naturally breaks down fat cells and uses the hydrogen from the fat combined with oxygen you breathe in to create molecular water. Dry fasting also has anti-inflammatory benefits. here is 5 years lifting progress, was taken 2 years ago. i don't update these often.
On the day before you start the fast you can hydrate a lot. I eat a lot of cucumber with salt. This gets electrolytes up, because eventually in the fast your electrolyte levels will get low and you'll start feeling pretty spaced-out. I think getting a lot of sodium and potassium in at the start can help mitigate that. I also take baking soda mixed in water to alkalize my kidneys prior to the fast. I'll also say that I have never done a completely strict dry fast. I still take apple cider vinegar + baking soda shots twice a day and I also lick small amounts of sea salt and potassium chloride (NoSalt) to keep my electrolytes up a bit, but that's it.

This is from Tim Ferriss's book Tools of Titans:
"In the last 2 years, I’ve done a lot of fasting experiments, focusing on real science instead of old wives’ tales (e.g., you must break your fast with shredded cabbage and beets). I now aim for a 3-day fast once per month and a 5- to 7-day fast once per quarter. I would like to do one 14- to 30-day fast per year, but the logistics have proven too inconvenient.
The longest fast I’ve done to date was 10 days. During that fast, I added vitamin C IVs and hyperbaric oxygen (2.4 ATA x 60 minutes) 3 times per week. I did DEXA body scans every 2 to 3 days for tracking and also consumed roughly 1.5 g of BCAAs upon waking and roughly 3 g of BCAAs intra-workout. After a 10-day fast, I had lost zero muscle mass. In contrast, I lost nearly 12 pounds of muscle in that first 7-day fast.
How and why the difference?
First, I allowed trace amounts of BCAAs and 300 to 500 calories of pure fat per day on my “fast.”
Second, I got into ketosis as quickly as possible to skip muscle wasting. I can now do this in under 24 hours instead of 3 to 4 days. The more often you enter keto, the faster the transition takes place. There appears to be a biological “muscle memory” related to monocarboxylate transporters and other things beyond my pay grade. Fasting is key, which is why the keto protocol used at Johns Hopkins for children with drug-resistant seizures begins with fasting."

So apparently, some people are saying they have lost a ton of weight doing the carnivore diet. For example, they would do something like 3-day water fast to reach ketosis, break the fast by consuming nothing but animal products(eggs, cheese, meat, etc.) some sips and that is it.
To make more sense, it's essentially OMAD and carnivore so you benefit from a fast and ketosis. What do you guys think about this? I think it makes sense since you are only eating just a little amount of carbs from the meat, you won't knock yourself out of ketosis, thus allowing yourself to keep burning fat. This is usually for people that hate veggies with their life.

How are you supposed to maintain a fast if you're cooking for your family every day? I have tons of leftovers now, I'm surrounded by food constantly, and everyone wants me to eat with them. This seems like a single person thing.

Some of them are eating the meat raw. When the enzymes in the meat aren't destroyed by cooking, it digests a lot easier. I followed the protocol Cole came up with a few months ago where you fast on snake juice for two days, then dry fast for one day, then refeed at 72 hours with six raw eggs. I was using pastured eggs, I washed the eggshells, and I'm sure my stomach ph was low as fuck, so it's practically impossible to get salmonella. My bowel movements were very easy while I was doing this.
As long as you don't over-eat on your refeeds and you check your ketones once a day. If you are completely fasted and your piss sticks are showing color then you are burning body fat. Obviously doing some longer fasts would get you there quicker, but if you are already pretty lean then 48 hour fasts can work. Just experiment with it, track what you eat, and track your body weight and see how it goes.
