I would say the main thing is to know where your meat and eggs are coming from. I live next door to a butcher that only sells local pastured grassfed beef and I only eat eggs from pastured chickens so there is a vanishly small chance of disease or parasites present in the food. It's kind of expensive but not bad. I get a lot of liver, heart, and less expensive muscle meat cuts. I think Frank Tufano's Youtube channel is pretty good, informative, low on memes imho. If you wan to do some reading about it, Aajonus Vonderplanitz and Vilhjalmur Stefansson are interesting reads.

Honestly you'd probably be fine. Only something like 1 in 20,000 eggs from a big farm contain salmonella, and even if you get that one egg, your chances of getting sick from it are fairly low. I used to eat cheap eggs raw for years, put a couple in my shakes and at breakfast, and I never got sick.
