Depends on what youre working out. I do a set of pullups every hour or so as I have a bar in my house. You get more volume doing them incrementally like that and you also skip working to failure so you can hit the gym and focus on that muscle right away instead of having to skip and recover

If it's full body through the day, you probably keep a good elevated test level and help yourself, as long as you do take actual rest days and allow the cortisol to go down. However if you're working the same muscle group all day, you'll just get in the way of recovery and hurt yourself.

Will you be exercising the same muscle groups throughout the day? If you're only doing chest that day its honestly better to do them all at once so your put a lot more stress on your muscles. If you're doing chest,biceps,legs,abs then its better to do them separately because you'd doing chest at first will tire you out a bit and the tiredness will translate into doing biceps which will get you even more tired.
