Im like 10 kg off. I can do three reps with the 10 kg off so not sure how close i am with 1rm.
Always been framelet dyel also am beginner lvl. Could you bench that after a few months?

I've been working out/doing sport all my life. I can bench my bodyweight easily 5x8
But on rhe other side. Im light as fuck, muscular but light. I am 150lbs
I'm 174 lbs and I can bench two plates 180 lbs
Dunno. Don’t bench. But I can strict OHP 1.5xBW.
2pl8 is 220lb you absolute mongol, or did you mean 2 reps
2pl8 is 225lbs user
Fuck ohp feels insanely difficult. I do it on bench days so maybe that hinders me.
I was counting from kg, you're right. So it seems there's a slight difference when counting plates in kg (20kg vs 45lb)
How much do you arch your back?
I do a C day that consists of OHP, barbell shrugs, neck harness neck-ups, and squats. Since I then go back to A day which includes Bench and Squats I take a break in between so it goes ABCxABCx until the end of time. Try it at some point user
Reason i asked is the average male should be able to bench 80% of bw. >Tfw less than average..
I do it so i focus on bench at the moment and after sometime focus on ohp for awhile. Dunno will have to think about it.
>Reason i asked is the average male should be able to bench 80% of bw.
Is that trained or untrained? I bench 1.12xbw but that's stalled for a long time since I've had bench on the backburner. I used to lift the same weight while being 12lbs lighter
I can bench over 133% of my bodyweight
I think at untrained.
seems about right. In high school I weighed 135lbs and am pretty sure I started at 115lbs for one or two reps
>counting the bar
I can bench 130% of my bw for 3 reps. I‘m at 85kg and bench 110kg.

Where are you pulling that from?
Symmetric strength site
i can do 150% of my bw for 8 reps
I'm 80 kg and can bench 130 kg as a one rep max, so that's like 155%?
90kg, bench 110kg.
I bench 1.35x bw. My ohp is 0.8x bw though.
Hit 235x5 and then 250x2 Saturday on bench. I weigh 230. Yeah I know it's kinda shit but I'm working on it. Got passed the mental barrier of being afraid of failing a rep without a spotter ever since discovering the roll of shame if it comes to that.
Yes but I'm 110lbs.
I bench twice my bw. 60kg manlet, can bench 2pl8 for 10 reps, 2.5pl8 for 3 reps
i bench 265 at 185 bw
I'm fat, dyel and currently benching 80% bw.
Seriously? You should be able to bench your bw and 1.25 bw to be slightly above avg.
BW of 160lbs and bench 295 for a single. Workin on that 2x bw boys its hard AF
I'm pretty close to 1.5x bodyweight for bench for sets of 5. Closer to 1.2x for sets of 12.
Yeah. I'm 220ish right now and I'm pretty confident I can bench 205
Based
Basically anyone who can bench 2pl8 can bench 80% of their bw.
80% of bw should be untrained
150 I can do 155x2
~6 months lifting is this good progress?
If you can do a push up you can already bench 70% of your body weight
There'd better not be a single person this board who can't do 80%
Let's say i can dumbbell press 70lbs x 2. How much can i expect to bench press excluding the bar?
125%
BW 160
Bench 200
I can do about 175% of my body weight for max bench and 110% of body weight for OHP.
200lbs and 5’11”
My bw is my orm rn
>can do 20 pushups
>can do 5 dips
>can hardly do 67% bw (120lbs at 180) by 5 for bench
wtf
i weigh 180lbs and i did a 225 AMRAP the other day and got 8 reps
feels bretty good
Yeah i need trt i think
I weigh 225 and can bench 260 3x5, sometimes get 8 reps
I'm just at the point of 100% of bw for five reps on the bench.
Bw is 75kg.
I'm 66 kg, skinnyfat
I bench 80kg
OHP 62 kg
Chin up BW + 20 kg
Fuark. How long have you lifted? Also put some toes on that dude.
shit form then
nah that's not how it works. I could do 35 pushups with my chest touching the floor when i started lifting, but I started with 40kg bench for 6 at ~70kg
>hurrrrrrrr im gonna bench press without duh bar durrrrrrrr
fuck off, weak retard.
I benched bodyweight my very first session.
But I was skinny not fat so that helped.
Super casually, on and off, with lack of progressive overload and diet, about 3 years
More seriously, with decent diet about 8 months.
Ayye bro check my stats we're identical
68 kg
80x5 bench
50x5 ohp
10 pull-ups + 1pl8
I've been lifting on and off for about 3/4 a year, your ohp is pretty strong bro
Ok. i Would be happy with those stats and weight.
>87kg
>can only bench 66kg for 3x5
At least Im progressing, but its kinda embarrassing
Don't worry dude.
I'm at 84 and struggle with 60x5 for 3 sets currently.
It will all progress if we keep at it
Thanks bros
These encouraging words help motivate!
Wow, we are pretty similar, I feel like I can't go more than 80 kg in chest though, stuck in a plateau, everything else is slowly moving.
Merry Christmas
My 1RM is my body weight
65 for 5x5 here, it's going up though and it'll only be a few months till were all at 100
Tfw 60kg and benching 70kg 3 x5
200lb weight, 175lb bench (x5)
feels bad because i actually wanted to get to 2pl8 this year but ive stalled since november
of course you count the bar dummy
being a framelet is literally the opposite of an excuse. Your bones literally weight less, which means you weigh less even with the same amount of muscle. Skinny dudes should have a much easier time benching their bodyweight than fat lardasses.
>can only bench a measly 160lbx5
>but I'm only 145lb
It's only up from here
Also
>taking Weight Training course in my last semester this Spring
>A+ range for bench is Body Weight x 12
