Yeah, I actually think a lot more people have 8/10 packs than we know of, but most people aren't dedicated enough to find out.
Start doinng push ups, planks and sit ups on your bedroom every day and go jogging a couple of times a week. After a month and a half of this or so you should have no trouble going to the gym.

I'm only lifting x2 a week now because I'm cutting. Lifting is boring and monotonous as fuck when you know you won't be able to make any strength gains. Lyle Mcdonald says if you maintain 2/3rd''s of your workout volume you should still be able to maintain most of your lean mass, so I should be good.
