I wonder if an electric guitar without an amplifier is too noisy. I share an apartment and I don't wanna be the asshole making awful noises with a loud acoustic guitar at night.

It wont make jack shit noise and it won't sound good, unless you are just learning to play and don't wanna hear what it actually sounds like until you later connect it to an amp.

this. i have a fender mustang amp that has headphone output. you still get all the all the preloaded effects like distortion/acoustic etc through the headphones. you can also just turn the amp real low

any "extreme" sport. sportsball is for fags but things like downhill mountain biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, motocross, atv, 4 wheeling are all acceptable. outdoor stuff aswell hiking, camping, shooting, bushcraft

makes no noise. or u could just get an amp with headphone jack (pretty much all amps) and all the sound will come through headphones. get some good studio quality headphones tho

You can plug headphones into a cheap practice amp. The sound of an unamplified electric guitar isn't gonna bug anyone.

get yourself some really soft strings and don't use a plectrum.
stuff the acoustic with foam or something to absorb the vibrations if you're that paranoid. but be aware, you may not be able to get the stuffing out.

Go for running a guitar into a pre-amp pedal that has a headphone out put. Generally speaking the headphone output on most amps sounds like complete ass. Pre-amp/cab sim pedals will sound much better.

I bought about $200 in cheap airsoft guns just to scatter around the house. Me and my roommates are constantly shooting each other. It started out with us flinching/trying not to get shot, and now we are actively and aggressively shooting each other.
There is nothing like waking up, hearing a bottle of bbs rattling, and the slide rack.
That's just a fun masculine activity, once it gets into larping territory I think it's a bit cringe though.

Just got a ukulele as a Christmas gift.
Small, cheap, portable, fun, less chords to learn, less strings to tune, etc. The skill ceiling is obviously lower than a guitar but if you're just getting into music playing it seems like a good first step.

2. get a pc usb audio interface like the Line 6 Pod Studio GX
3. play guitar through your pc while being able to emulate any tone and record
