Fruitarian, paleo is about as hairbrained as its reasoning. Raw food diets, alkaline diets, dirty fasts (like cigarettes and coffee only or trying to fast on EAC stack) dirty bulks unless you're actually tracking your macros. Same deal with veganism the more attention demanding your diet is the more it'll fuck you up if you dont actually do the book work.

Paleo is best of the bunch, but doesn't allow beans and nightshades. And some have a problem with rice and potatoes.

The best diet you can have is a varied whole food diet, plenty of whole dairy and vegetables and meats. Don't just go for the lean breasts. Try and eat every different area of the animals, and if you can, their organs. I don't though. Just stay away from processed packaged food and drinks

No, that’d be a whole food diet. Paleo is no dairy, no grains, no legumes, no refined foods, and a few other things I forget.

For people who are severely insulin resistant, i.e. obese people, it is a lifestyle they have to adopt.

Speaking of keto, maybe someone can answer something for me. An obese friend of mine went on the diet, and started shitting blood after ~3 months of being on it. Apparently his kidney was being damaged, and he got better as soon as he went off the diet. Any idea what's up with that?

Keto basically forces all your water out (it's why people think they lose 20lbs in a week it's just water) if you dont consume enough sodium and potassium you're taxing the hell out of your kidneys. Theres some literature about excessive protein hurting the kidneys but I think adrenal overload is probably more likely.

Infant mortality rates were extremely high and medical advances outside of diet were obviously much more limited back then. Diet was almost definitely not a factor in their short lifespans - they evolved around these foods.

Not that guy, but the problem with a paleo diet is that scientists don't even know what an accurate paleo diet even consists of. Humans were primarily scavengers, and we could've eaten hundreds of different things.

Keto and IF worked for me, Dr. said it had no negative effects and my over-all health improved. Stop being a douchebag.
