All my friends have been mocking me for how much weight I have put on this year. I made a bet with them I could lose 50lbs by May. Is this going to be possible? Christmas food isn’t helping my start
All my friends have been mocking me for how much weight I have put on this year...

Easily doable, stop injecting sugar.
If you’re really fat it’s possible. Just exercise and eat right. Das it
Literally stop eating and only consume water and vitamins for 3 months
The picture is me I’m about 235lbs, 5’8 though
The Water weight alone from all the junk you're probably eating is probably 10lbs. It's definitely doable, but will take will power. I'm assuming you're obese, like your pic. If so then very doable
The pic is me yeah I have a lot of weight in the hips and belly, I have dieted before and the first 20/30 come off easy. The last 20 are very difficult...
>235lbs
No way. Looks like more.
I’m all belly I’m definitely 235. Sorry to disappoint
Easily doable by March if you're determined.
Shit man I would’ve guessed 300+. But you got it man, 235 at your height is probably a similar BMI to someone 300 at 6’. Regardless the same holds true, eat right and exercise. Today just limit the sweets and fatty foods and go HAM on the ham and turkey. Lean so less calories and high protein so more saturating. Start exercising tomorrow even if it’s just power walking around the neighborhood
Yeah I used to be pretty fit but the past year or two has been a clusterfuck of binge eating. I still go to the gym but my diet is horrendous and I haven’t done cardio in a long time. I guess I just have to start out small and build it up again.
Exactly man. Don’t put too much in our routine right off the bat, people are more prone to failure that way. Try for 20-30 minutes 3 times a week at first power walk and/or incline walk and build from there. Good thing is if you used to be fit its easier to get back
I have lost weight before but I have had a habit of losing way too hard and then gaining even more back. So yep slow and steady. I think I can still lose it in 5 months though. At least the belly. Thanks for the advice
I started tracking weight since mid July and I was 232lbs now I'm 174lbs. Height 5'10 and eating 1500calories five days a week, 2 days at 1800 (out of 2000 cals)
So you can do it just by eating clean and move a little more
Hoping you aren't on the same fat level of your pic, don't do it and lose your bet on purpose. The fact is if you lose a lot of weight all together, you will get a lot of permanent strech marks. Screw your bet, then try to lose your 50 lbs in 18 months instead of 5 with weightlifting, cardio and good diet, minimize your strech marks, then come back to your friends and mock them with your new superior strenght and better body
The pic from the original post is me. I have lost the weight before and I have stretch marks but nothing severe like what you posted. I haven’t always been fat and I hear that means the stretch marks aren’t so severe.
Also I’m pretty sure that picture you posted is a woman after pregnancy.
> the pic is me
Damn, so you already have strech marks. However, lose all that weight too fast will worsen it. Keep it cool, screw your bet and keep thinking on the long term (12-18 months).
You got this OP, it’s a marathon not a sprint
do keto or eat less calories. takes walks and then eventually start running. or ride a bike. also do intermittent fasting. dont eat until you've been awake for at least 4 hours. good luck brother god speed
/fast/
It's simple but hard to pull off. It's the most effective way to lose weight. Look for fast threads they explain the science behind fasting.
