Mix these in 2L of water and sip it throughout the day.
[OPTIONAL] 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar and 4 tbsp lemon juice. DO NOT MIX with snake juice, drink separately. May add 1/4 tsp baking soda.
You can also do this if you feel lightheaded, weak, dizzy, nauseous, etc., on shorter water fasts. Don’t do this while intermittent fasting.

What's even the point of dry fasting? That seems like some shit body builders would do days before a competition to get as vascular as possible.

Dry fasting day 4 for me here. I can say with certainty it's really great. I've lost 35 lbs since December 1st. When not fasting I do OMAD.

There are a number of reasons why people do dry fasting, but one reason is for increased fat loss. Your body naturally breaks down fat cells and uses the hydrogen from the fat combined with oxygen you breathe in to create molecular water. Dry fasting also has anti-inflammatory benefits. It is safe and healthy if done properly with a bit of preparation.

On the day before you start the fast you can hydrate a lot. I eat a lot of cucumber with salt. This gets electrolytes up, because eventually in the fast your electrolyte levels will get low and you'll start feeling pretty spaced-out. I think getting a lot of sodium and potassium in at the start can help mitigate that. I also take baking soda mixed in water to alkalize my kidneys prior to the fast. I'll also say that I have never done a completely strict dry fast. I still take apple cider vinegar + baking soda shots twice a day and I also lick small amounts of sea salt and potassium chloride (NoSalt) to keep my electrolytes up a bit, but that's it.

Neat my dad is doing IF. Think he said he fasts 18 hours every day. This makes me want to do a 10 day Snake Fast in solidarity.

Starting out on a 5 day dry fast is extremely difficult. Try to do one day water, then 3 days dry, then back to water on the final day. You don't need salt if it's only 5 days.

I don't know-- I think it varies for different people. It seems like some people don't need it, but for me it absolutely helps, even for relatively short fasts. Like, I CAN fast without snake juice or salts, but I get spaced out as fuck. Getting electrolytes in, even if it's just a two or three day fast, it really makes the whole process a lot easier, but that's just me

For me the first few times I fasted it was hell with the snake juice. I felt spaced out like you said. Now that I've done it a few times my mental focus is even better than non fasting. Every four days or so I'll take in the ingredients of snake juice in a shot glass. Then I'll just drink plain water. Or if I'm dry fasting I take nothing at all. That's just me though. Lost 35 lbs in less than a month. Started at 270 at December 1st, now 235 at December 25th. Mixed in with some OMAD of low carb low sugar foods (Steak, Pork, Cold Cuts). That's just me though. Like you said everyone is different.

I would say fast for intervals that you know you're comfortable with. I firmly believe that fasting is the best medicine to get over sickness and I'd personally go for as long as I can if I was sick.

I'm about to go into a heavy cut/recomp and want to fast. I fasted before and it worked great except I was eating at maintenance and above levels. I would eat/drink absolutely nothing until I hit 16+ hours fasted. I was not taking any supplements. I lost a good amount weight like that and had good energy.

For this fast I would like to get on supplements and since I will cut my calories to about 1600-1800 I want to use BCAAs.

Would sipping Xtend BCAAs ruin my fast at all? Thinking of taking a mixing Xtend with ALCAR and maybe a thermogenic to sip throughout the day leading to my workout where I'll break the fast.

Fasting is the absence of food. Period. Having very little calories is a severe calorie restricted diet.

If you eat, your insulin will rise and you will store fat. Fasting has the benefit of not spiking insulin while using your own body fat for fuel. It's also great for healing your body.

The idea behind snake juice is that it will keep your electrolytes up so you don't feel sluggish and spaced out. Personally I find that I feel much much better on SJ. If I fast on plain water, I already feel noticeably sluggish on the second day, and the days after I feel pretty bad. However, there are a lot of people who are totally fine fasting on plain water. I would suggest having some SJ or SJ ingredients on hand, so if you do start feeling spaced-out and sluggish, you can take some SJ and see if that helps. Word of warning though, don't chug the snek juice unless you want to pee out of your butt (again just my experience)

Doesn't really matter, you have enough reserves in your body to fast for at least a month. The important bit is the salts, especially sodium and potassium. If you take multivitamins, you'll be a bit nauseaus for about a half hour but it goes over fast. They're meant to take with food.

You don't really need to bulk more than max a 500 cal surplus, 300 cals should probably be enough. I managed to lose 7 kg by a six days water fast, should be able to cut that fat gain in a week or something.
